Yesterday it was Inter who went home ...today is time for Juventus and Atalanta to go home which will complete the full trifecta of Italy teams going home early. Now , is this normal ? For Juve and Atalanta I would say yes because they were playing poor football and I won't be surprised if both of them will lose today again.

I also don't have high hopes for Real Madrid either as this UCL season seems wild so far and I'm all for it.  

I agree that this season, Italian teams seem to need to focus entirely on improving themselves. Their chances of progressing are slim and unpromising. This is the harsh reality of the Italian league, where the quality of play has fallen far behind. Inter have begun to backslide and realize they don't deserve to advance.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid will get the home advantage. But Madrid's overall performance cannot be said to be stable yet. They lost against Osasuna in the last match. Madrid is not in a very good position with the help of manager Arbeloa. Arbeloa's experience is also less. We also do not know what kind of match strategy he will create in such a high voltage match. Madrid is the favorite in all statistics in this match. But even then the road to victory is not easy for them.

no team should be underrated anymore as long as they made it to the round of 16 and I imagine Monaco doing the same to PSG, that's if they can manage up and beat the Ligue 1 champions.

You have a point and I'd love to see PSG getting eliminated, but considering that Monaco has a lot of missing players due to injuries and suspension, I have a feeling PSG is going to demolish them in the return leg ^{[if they were a bit more clinical in the first leg, they would've done it already]}, so I'm going for a PSG win as the safest bet ^{[BTTS/over 3.5 could also be good]}.

They could win Monaco due to injuries that affect the team but I'd love to see Monaco fight like a wounded lion, using the available players to get their chances into the next round. It could happen and if PSG was good enough I expected them to take advantage of the issue Monaco have and watch how PSG played in the first leg, they were suppose to dominate the game but instead they struggled to get that win and for tonight's game I expect Monaco to come all out and get the job done.

I hope Monaco surprises us all and puts on a fantastic match, but I think the chances of that happening are very low. Of course, we have to admit that possibilities always exist. We saw this once again in the Inter match yesterday. Although Inter alone led statistically for most of the match, Bodo won in the end. So yes, Monaco still has a chance, provided they play in the right way. I would honestly like to see such a match.

Of course it will be low because PSG squad look solid and are more productive than Monaco and to top it all they are champions in both the champions league and the Ligue 1 so Monaco are the underdogs but we expect them to put in a much better fight to prove many wrong. If you talk about the Inter game I'll still say I'm surprised at the Italian side, it wasn't how many of us expected the game to end but Bodo shocked the world by knocking Inter out. You know we can't compare the Inter Milan Bodo/Glimt game to this very encounter PSG vs Monaco, this game is like the French game and Monaco shouldn't allow PSG to beat them more this season.

I'm very pessimistic to Juve. They were so terrible. So i don't wanna bet on them caused by they gave me no confidence. Let's say three goals victories for them at home are not impossible, but they fought against a team that was totally superior than them.
So i think everyone should not be overthinking about them. It's caused by they will be losing again. They will not able to score, and conceded some stupid goals. They can't resist from Galatasaray's high intensity pressure at upfront.

It makes me expect almost the same style of goals conceded like what happened to them during the first leg. It can be even worsen with Spalletti may play Di Gregorio again. That's why i pick Gala to win with btts. So tell me how big your expectation for Juve?

This pick is a very good one from my point of view, I saw how they performed in their last fixture, Galatasaray had not mercy on them but got a landslide victory, Juventus typically needs to score at least 4 goals without any from Galatasaray in order for them to knock Galatasaray out, that is almost not possible because Galatasaray is in a good form and not willing to allow such happen even as they will be hosted by Juventus, fair enough, both teams may get a goal at least, but I believe Galatasaray has a better chance to victory.

Yeah i expect pretty much the same result as Intermilan yesterday. They missed cambiasso due to the 2 yellow card + Di Gre will play. So it becomes a horrible combo for their defense. I don't see any change for them to score like 4 goals without conceded goals with that horrible defense.

If i was told in the dream that a team like Bodo/Glimt will eliminate Inter Milan from the Champions League i would have doubted it and even stake a bet but it is sad to see that they overpowered Inter Milan both in their home and at the home ground of Inter Milan. This is such a big disgrace to Inter Milan fans. This match just made me to reflect back during the Champions League finals last season when Inter Milan woefully lost to PSG by a score of 5:0. They should go home and focus on winning the Serie A, since they couldn't win Bodo/Glimt in the playoff round. Bodo/Glimt on the other hand is trying to be a threat to bigger teams right now because they have done damage to many big teams in the Champions League. Well, let me see how far they can go in the champions league next stage.

If i was told by a seer that Inter Milan would not beat Bodo/Glimt in Italy i would not have agree because if you beat me in your home in the champions league, i will beat you back in my home, but it is a big shame to Inter Milan football club because they played against weak and inexperience team in the playoffs but they still failed to make it to the round of 16. Since Inter Milan could not beat Bodo/Glimt they deserves not to proceed further in the champions league so they will not disgrace their fans more. Bodo/Glimt is already a threat for the big guys in the champions league, and any team that will play against Bodo/Glimt in the round of 16 should take Bodo/Glimt seriously if they do not want to experience the ugly experience Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Inter Milan had against Bodo/Glimt.

Bodo/Glimt is not completely a weak team as you described them, at least everyone is a king in their own home and i can tell you that Bodo/Glimt is doing so well in their domestic league namely the Norway Eliteserien. They finished second in the league last season and were just a point below Vikings who won the title. I want to also bring to your awareness that Bodo/Glimt qualified for next season's Champions League early qualification round which means they are most likely to also appear in the Champions League group stages next season and will possibly cause some havoc as well.

Yes I completely agree with you. Real Madrid is currently performing very well only in LaLiga, but they are not able to perform so well in UEFA league and, the consistent position is not even in it. If Real Madrid wants to win this match then they will have to adopt some very perfect strategies and the opponent can never be underestimated. Real Madrid is not in the consistent position, they performed very badly in the last match and, they lost.

I had big hope on Inter Milan qualifying for the round of 16 despite the 3:1 defeat they experienced against Bodo/Glimt in their first game in Norway but Inter Milan disappointed everyone who were looking up to them to turn things around in Italy and make it to the round of 16. It is obvious Juventus is out of the champions league because even if they beat Galatasaray in Italy, i am certain Galatasaray will use aggregate and make it to the round of 16, but i am not certain if Atalanta will go home this night because i believe Atalanta would overcome Dortmund in Italy. The champions league is a game of survival of the fittest, so it is normal for Italian teams to go home early because they were poor and they could not survive for a long time.

The Real Madrid vs. Benfica match will be ambiguous in terms of the final result. I believe that Real Madrid has gained a good advantage after completing the first leg in Portugal, but Mourinho's strategy makes me hesitant to say that I will cross Benfica off the list like you did in the table.

Atalanta and Juventus are the two remaining Serie A teams. Atalanta still has a chance, but Juventus' chances are very slim.

Good one MAAManda, I really want Real Madrid to qualify for the next round because I believe they will make the competition look more interesting and competitive. They will be playing today with Benfica, which is the second leg from the last performance, it was a very difficult and tough match for Real Madrid and they managed to win the match with just one goal difference meaning Benfica still has a lot of chance to qualify if they can win today’s match with two goals, I believe they can actually win Real Madrid if they put more effort and determination and I also believe Real Madrid can win Benfica because of home advantage.
Mbappe will be absent in today’s match, which would be a very good one for Real Madrid. I always believe that Real Madrid will do more better if Mbappe is absent, vini will perform very well today and they may actually win the match, check the first match between them and Benfica, You will see that Mbappe did not perform at all so they really don’t need him to win this match.

I would be interested to see another sensation, with Benfica knocking Real Madrid out of the Champions League. But I’m not sure that can happen. Real is playing at home and, on top of that, they have a one-goal advantage. Besides, Benfica hasn't shown anything extraordinary in the tournament and barely made it into the next round from the last qualifying spot. I'll be rooting for the Portuguese club, but their chances of reaching the next round are very slim. I don't think there will be another Champions League sensation today; besides, Bodo/Glimt already used up the "sensation limit" for this round.

I am one of those people who had high hopes for Inter Milan. In Italy, I saw great chances of them winning and expected to see them in the round of 16, but they failed in the first leg and the second leg as well. This Norwegian club has been so unpredictable this season that they have played many times better than expected and where I saw the possibility of being eliminated in the group stage, they have made it to the round of 16 by eliminating Inter Milan. As unexpected as the first leg was, the second leg was even more unexpected. As an Inter Milan fan, I am very disappointed! We may see all the Italian clubs in the Champions League eliminated in the playoffs.

Bodo definitely "shocked" the world in the sense that nobody assumed they would be as high as they are right now. However, it was a long time coming that they have invested so much into themselves and ended up with basically a good result that got them where they are. They did not just paid a ton of money to get good players, instead they used that money most other teams just use on players to just improve their facilities and youth setup and build a whole system that produces good players but it takes years to get better.

Last year they were doing this at Europa and now they are doing the same at UCL as well. Beating Inter was not expected in any case, but Bodo should not be considered a bad team at all now, they are doing great. One downside is that they lost their league because of the focus on UCL, so they will have harder time to get here next season.

I think the reason for the change can be dependent on what those that have made Thier prediction already have done. If a lot of people are betting against the initial odds, it's certain that you see a thing as this. But then, odds can be deceptive to an extent and so, while you're wagering, you have to make your decision above what the odds says and be strong enough to stay with whatever decision you've made regardless of popular opinion or what the bookmakers are trying to infer by the direction of the odds. Sometimes, just work just on a teams strength rather than mere indication from odds and stats.

From last season's finalists to being knocked out by Bodo Glimt. A terrible Champions League season this time around, even though we started well, but Christian Chivu's lack of experience clearly played a big part in this elimination!

I called Bodo/Glimt weak because they cannot measure there selves to Inter Milan, and i know that Bodo/Glimt is a king in their home and they are doing very well in their domestic because anytime i bet on Bodo/Glimt to win a match in their domestic league they alway deliver for me. I am aware Bodo/Glimt finished second last season and were a point below Vikings who won the won, because i always follow Norway Eliteserien league. That result was indeed a shocking result to see at last especially now that inter Milan are in there prime, know one including me expected such unpredictable result that surfaced at the end of the game. Before the game started, i confidently believed in inter's consistency and never for one second thing bodo  glimt will even score a single goal talk more of winning at last but the unpredictable result came and inter's chances of getting to the next round was destroyed by a second half unimaginable goals to confirm the unpredictability they said existed in the game of soccer.  As that of bodo glimt, there performance was really commendable even if not for any reason but just for turning inter's hope to zero.

It was expected Atletico Madrid to end up with a good win, there wasn't any guesses on what's going to happen exactly because as we have seen with Bodo game, you never know what's going to happen at all, and it could be a shock game too.

But that did not happen with Brugge, ATM ended up getting the win they needed with a dominant victory, now they are going to wait who they are going to face against, we are finally in the round of sixteen part with UCL for some of these teams and it's definitely going to be a nail biter on who they get.

Atalanta lost their most important person, the coach. Gasperini was a great coach and he knew the environment. They chose to sabotage themselves hiring Juric, a manager that failed everywhere he went, I don't understand how teams keep hiring him because it makes no sense. Now there is a new manager but Borussia have more experience than Atalanta, since the beginning they were the favorite team.

Regarding Juventus, the whole situation is a mess, Galatasaray are a real team, Juventus are not.
