This smaller teams in the Champions league leaves me with goosebumps. How they are able to fight in the game was unpredictable. The fact that bodoe/glimt knocked out Inter from the ucl yesterday is unbelievable. Newcastle also recently achieved a very impressive result, they managed to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time in their history. Newcastle journey to this point was not easy, they went through the group stage with good results against clubs like Benfica, Athletic Club, PSV, Leverkusen, and PSG. A landslide aggregate victory over Qarabag in the play-offs means they must be mentally prepared to face a new challenge in the round of 16.

Benfica must learn from the success of Bodo/Glimt and Newcastle if they want to stay in the Champions League. Real Madrid will certainly give their all to maintain their lead, but they can still be beaten if Benfica plays with discipline like in their 4-1 victory over Madrid some time ago.

After what transpired in the match, Barcelona won't be supporting Benfica to win Real Madrid, the rivalry might be there but in moments when bad behaviors are presents, Barcelona will support Real Madrid to win, if Benfica should win, it will give the racist reasons to laugh over the incident.

Aside what happened, using the Premier League teams for example, they are always happy when a team from the same league is dominating a different club from different league, it should be the same for Barcelona and Real Madrid, unless they meet.

They earned to take the lead now and I think it was well known that Atalanta could turn this around with ease. There were several comments here that Borussia Dortmund would be a huge favorite, but I never knew why anyone would think that. Borussia Dortmund is an average team and in hot games, Atalanta has proven that they can play with great effort and deliver intense football, especially whey play in front of their own fans.

This is going to be so hard for Borussia Dortmund to come back now because the danger to run straight into Atalanta counter attacks is now extremely high. I don't think this will be a happy ending for Borussia Dortmund.

They've probably lost it at home when they only scored 2 goals. They should have tried to extend their advantage and not take that 2 goals and leave it at that. That's why it is an advantage to play the second leg at home.

Real Madrid to win is the best bet in this picture between them and the Benfica. It would have been somehow fair if the white stars we are not provoked, Jose Mourinho and his men have already provoked today Real Madrid guys and they are coming with a lot of pressure and anger. I am very sure that Benfica cannot withstand the treasure that Real Madrid will come with. They will only depend on Jose mourinho's experience of defense in this match. If Mou has some fantastic defenders, he could do alot.
As usual, he could decide to defend 80 minutes of the match not minding that he is at the losing side, then 10 minutes to go he will come and try his luck.

However, if he adopt that pattern or method with Real Madrid tonight, it is going to lose woefully and will concede minimum of three goals. The best approach is to play his normal game.

Atalanta finally took the lead, the aggregate changed and the match was only a few minutes away this would be very worrying for Dortmund, the current score was 3-0, Dortmund had not been able to score a single goal against Atalanta, I agree with you that this away match was very difficult for Dortmund, as I typed, Dortmund added a goal by Karim Adeyemi to make it 3-1 and the aggregate was balanced again, now the match was getting more tense because the time was about to end in the second half, this was a very exciting match, I watched it without blinking, both teams were fighting for a play-off ticket this hard, the potential for extra time was still possible.
