Although they are from the same league, I think the Monaco vs. PSG match was very exciting because their competition was very tight in the second leg today. The match ended in a draw, in my opinion, this indicates their very tight competition. Monaco scored first through Akliouche, but PSG players fortunately were able to reply with a goal scored by Monaco players.

Now PSG will advance to the round of 16 with a narrow 5-4 aggregate score. Now I would like to congratulate PSG on advancing to the round of 16. PSG fans are certainly very happy because PSG advanced to the round of 16, while Monaco fans are certainly sad because Monaco's struggles this season have ended here. Now Monaco must work harder to appear in the Champions League next season. But it will certainly not be easy because Monaco is currently ranked 8th in the domestic league. Now we will see whether PSG, as last season's Champions League champions, can win the Champions League again or not this season.

It was all a good performance in the Champions League, now this is why Champions League is always exciting to watch, all the games lived to expectations, Paris Saint German played absolutely fantastic against Monaco, even with the Red Card they played a good and nice football, but I was disappointed with Dortmund Performance against Atalanta, Atalanta seems like the better team against Dortmund and they played well and eliminated Dortmund i was very surprised they had to come back from a two goals deficit, the last time that happened was between Liverpool and Barcelona in 2019, Congratulations to Atalanta I really liked there performances, Galatasaray is a lucky team, and they got to the next round because Juventus have been playing with a man down all throughout the 90 minutes, so I believe if they were complete it would’ve been a different story entirely, congratulations to all the teams that have advanced to the next round.

For a Dortmund supporter like me it's hard to comprehend how they can show such a weak performance in a game you are not supposed to lose like this. I mean seriously, 4:1 in the last second from a penalty, that basically says it all. They played the same team a week ago and had almost everything under control. Well, at least now they know they will have a real "final game for the season" against Bayern this weekend. They lose and they are basically out everywhere, no cup, no UCL and if they lose they will be down 9 points against Bayern, basically also sealing the deal. 

Atlanta happen to be the club in the playoffs who successfully did a comeback in the return leg. Dortmund came with a defensive mindset feeling 2 goals lead in the first leg was enough to move to the next stage of the competition not knowing Atlanta came more prepared to deny them what they felt they have already gathered.

I watched the highlights of the Real Madrid vs. Benfica match. Benfica played a game they didn't deserve to lose, but Real Madrid still won.

Before the match, Atlanta were at the disadvantaged side as they lost the first leg, 2 - 0 which was like climbing a mountain to be in equal footing. From losing 2 - 0 to now winning 3 - 2 on aggregate means If it ends like this, then Dortmund will be dumped out of the competition. It's just funny how Dortmund is, that team is one hell of a team that can be er be trusted. I thought Atlanta had already lost after the leg first not knowing that he will give themselves a fighting chance when they play today. One more goal from them just incase Dortmund happens to score as well.

I least expected such a defeat from Borussia Dortmund, I even thought they wouldn't lose, but it turned out Atalanta had other plans. Juventus was also a pleasant surprise, and I think if they hadn't been given a red card, they would have held out until penalties, but at the end of the match, especially in extra time, it was clear that fatigue was taking its toll on the Juventus players. Real Madrid managed to beat Benfica again, and will therefore be in the playoffs.

I thought Benfica bragged on how Prestianni will play at the Bernebeu, he even trained with the team and wasn't included in the squad,lol. From the onset I already knew they were going to win even though people were worried about Mbappe's absence. From the first leg they played it was clear that real Madrid are better than benfica, it wasn't hard to predict that it would be a straight win for real Madrid.

Madrid should thank the midfield cause they’re the reason why they won this game, they carried Madrid all the way. Vinícius sealed it with a classy winner, but Tchouaméni's control won the tie. But I agree... With this performance, the opponent in the next round will score at home and away. Madrid under Arbeola isn’t ready to compete in the UCL. Find a way out and focus on La Liga. There’s some hope there. imo

This was my favourite game yesterday. To be honest, I considered it to be a walkover for Galatasary with the first leg advantage but Juventus proved me wrong at least for regular play time. Juventus gave their all but unfortunately it wasn't enough to correct the mistake made in the first leg. Despite everything, the costly mistake they made in the first leg proved to be so much heavy eventually.

The early second half red card absolutely contributed to their downfall, it killed the game but Juventus were so focused and refused to let it define the match by scoring additional two goals and push the game into extra time. Although, they had enough chances to avoid the extra time but not well utilised. Galatasary tried to hold their advantage that almost failed them but were lucky to find two goals at extra time to advanced to next stage.

Unless Galatasary learn their lessons, they won't go beyond the round of sixteen no matter the team they face next. They will have a fair game if they face Tottenham by the way.

I was sad to see Juve eliminated from the competition after they had put in a remarkable performance, especially after playing for half the match with a player less due to a decidedly exaggerated and inappropriate red card. To me it's a mystery how Okan Boruk is still Galatasaray's manager. He is not a good manager at all, he had clashes with several players, and many players who left Galatasaray wondered how this guy was still the manager because he is clearly underqualified for the team he is managing. Sometimes we shouldn’t blame the coach too much, the players themselves were poor notwithstanding the tactics or strategy employed by the coach, they didn’t deliver as was expected. I don’t know if you watched Osimhen’s interview after the match, he made mention that some players were a bit shaky and he tried to motivate them to get them fired up for the game but it was not very successful, they were lucky to have progressed cos Juventus was the better side of the night, Scoring two goals after they were down to 10 men, that’s high laxity on Galatasaray side.

I didn't watch that match because there were too many UCL matches, and I only saw the highlights of the PSG vs. Monaco match. Yes, even though they are in the same league, they are indeed competing closely, and of course this is normal because Monaco is actually only in the UCL, a good chance to win the trophy. If it were in Ligue 1, it would certainly be difficult and certainly not easy to surpass PSG's points score, which currently has a large points difference with Monaco.
