Absolutely. The Champions League is the most prestigious tournament in football, which is why teams often give their all to win. That is why Real Madrid, despite all their injuries, can still beat Manchester City if they give 100%. Right now, Real Madrid is facing a lot of injury and that is the only reason why Manchester city will have a chance to win them, even with all the injured players that Real Madrid are having right now the strength of Real Madrid without those players and that of Manchester city right now are the same, the more determined team will win the match or it will likely end in draw, but I expect Real Madrid to win this match because when it comes to Champions League they have a different spirit and they play like never before, the match will be a very difficult match for both teams. I don't think Real Madrid will likely to force Mbappe against Manchester City this week. Because even they put in he won't perform in s best time so I think they will wait he should recover very well before starting him in some matches in the competition, but currently I no the way Madrid play against Celta Vigo that is how they will play against Manchester City this Wednesday, and some Madrid defender are back and that will make the defence stronger and won't able to defeat Madrid easily.

Well, I am not pretty obvious whether Real Madrid will play good or not due to few reasons. First their team are still picking up so many key players injuries and I think due to this won't be able to make any good progress. Second the have some managerial lacking like Arbelova are new here, and he tries to explore the team with new tactics and probably it may can take a while.... So I just express my opinion, like due the above explanation I am bit skeptical about the Real Madrid.

On the other hand if we look at the Pep Guardiola then probably his team are much better at this season, whether it's in terms of squad depth or it in performance circle. Thus far Pep Guardiola attack are also looking good like his keya attacking players will be available, and due to this I think they will have an advantage to get victory in first leg.

Manchester City are not in the best form right now and are going through a difficult period. They can produce a good run of winning matches, but then they have a home game against Nottingham, that they fail to win, or a match against a struggling Tottenham side near the bottom of the table, which they also fail to win.

That’s why I think they have equal chances with Real Madrid in this matchup. Liverpool didn't go through play off only to come back to the knockouts stage like the way Galatassaray did, they had were the 3rd team in the table with 2 loss of 8, they smashed 6 games and most of those teams are not easy target. They faced Real Madrid this season and made them have the worst of their days in Etihad, meanwhile Galatassaray was having the worst rime trying to come up in the table but couldn't until they face Juventus which they almost loss.

If not for time constraint, Juventus would have nailed that game without much effort but time wasn't on their side as their goal didn't come on time. I know Liverpool are not doing well enough like they did last season in their domestic league but they are not that bad considering how the players has been changed. Many of the players of last season are not the players we are having now, but still they are not in their worse form to be use a joke.

Not everyone agrees but I agree 100% about Liverpool having a much tougher path ahead.

Finishing near the top of the table and getting results against strong teams shows that they still have a competitive squad, even after this season's changes. At the same time, playing away against Galatasaray in Istanbul, where the atmosphere there can lead the home team to play much more aggressively than usual... Turkish fans are very passionate.

Lol, just funny how you concluded that galatasaray is standing no chance to beat Liverpool in this game, if there is a season where galatasaray is having a very high chance to beat Liverpool then it this season, we have seen them beat Liverpool this season already at the group stand and I still believe they would beat them tomorrow even maybe eventually Liverpool turns things around at Anfield but I believe galatasaray will be Liverpool tomorrow at their home.

If your logic was correct, Barcelona couldn't beat Brugge in the first phase of the UCL, and now they can't beat Newcastle? It is far more common than you think that these great teams occasionally screw it up against weaker opponents, but you can't just go from there and derive which opponents they can beat and which they can't. Every game is different and correct me if I a wrong, but Real Madrid beat Benfica 3:1 in aggregate and got 6 points out of both games. It sounds comfortably to me and you can't wait for every game to become a massacre. I am convinced that against Manchester City, both teams know who is said to have the edge, but it won't be straightforward or effortless for Manchester City.
