Real Madrid outweigh in this one of the most common draws in this stage of the CL in the last 10 years. However I expect Manchester City to be the happy side this time... Real Madrid lack many important names and I don't trust Arbeloa against Guardiola also. By the way isn't it just insane that they had a draw each other 6 times in the last 7 years??? I'm just going to start thinking like it's rigged or what. Madrid's test is in the first leg even though they are playing at home but the loss of so many players including Mbappe who is unlikely to be forced in this match clearly makes their probability even lower. Facing opponents in La Liga alone, which in fact in terms of level they are still very difficult with the current conditions makes it possible for Manchester City to be more confident here. It's just that I expect a miracle even though this might still be difficult but at least the draw that can be obtained is very good. Indeed, victory is what is sought after but with the condition of their squad now honestly I still doubt it even though they are my favorite club. Predicting base on football stats seems very easy to judge, everyone thinks Manchester city will win against Real Madrid due to certain reason unknown or base on Madrid poor performance but, Manchester city is in same condition although different league yet both teams are not in a good form. Injury or not Madrid can still perform well if only they’re determine, I viewed the suspended players that will not participate for both teams probably due to injury and surprisingly Madrid list seems much including Mbappe, this match will be tough not minding home benefit because nowadays home benefit seems worthless, just hope Madrid don’t get affected much.

The odds for 1st leg of the round of 16 games for tomorrow/Wednesday (from 2UP.io) are as follows:
Galatasaray x4.01 Vs Liverpool x1.78; Draw x3.97 Atalanta x4.56 Vs Bayern Munich x1.62; Draw x4.43 Atlético Madrid x1.53 Vs Tottenham x5.60; Draw x4.32 Newcastle x2.83 Vs Barcelona x2.21; Draw x3.87 Bayer Leverkusen x5.50 Vs Arsenal x1.55; Draw x4.12 Bodo/Glimt x2.50 Vs Sporting Lisbon x2.53; Draw x3.65 Real Madrid x3.33 Vs Manchester City x2.00; Draw x3.72 Paris Saint-Germain x1.89 Vs Chelsea x3.70; Draw x3.70
Bodo/Glimt is actually a (very) slight favourite against Sporting, but the odds are pretty much even. I'm surprised to see Real Madrid as such an underdog against Man City, despite having home advantage. Is there something I'm missing? Any major injuries/suspensions?
Anyhow, it should be pretty good round, I think any of these games could go either way, maybe except Leverkusen Vs Arsenal, where the best Leverkusen can hope for is probably a draw.

They have been performing poor even since the start of the season although for now the difference is quite visible because they have started losing out on even the most simplest of games because that getafe game was one no one expected them to lose but yet they still found a way to lose that game. It's been very long I saw Real Madrid in such situations and maybe hopefully they can get things working because they can't do anything with this sort of performance in the champions league.
When it comes to the champions league, seriously I don’t think Real Madrid should be looked down on. Their performance in the domestic league should not be used to judge their performance in the champions league because they’re two different league and they perceive and play differently in each competition, so that should be a major thing of concern to check into. Real Madrid are still in the champions league and as long as they remain in the competition, they still have a very big advantage in the competition and can as well win it irrespective of their performance in the La Liga. So until every match is played, I won’t imagine Real Madrid not going to win the Champions League. Well, I agreed with you and we understand how strong Real Madrid performance used to be in champions league, but in my opinion that doesn't apply to this current squad, because this was the similar difficulies they faced even last season and got eliminated in the quarter finals by Arsenal. Last season Real Madrid performance was poor in their home league, and that poor performances also followed them to the champions league and the worst part now most of their key players are injured, with their current state I don't think Real Madrid can beat Manchester City.

As a fan I believe they are overrated even with such odds Okay maybe I'm just been bitter about their performance Well Manchester City have built better momentum and Madrid are faced with some injuries Like Rodrigo and even Mbappe just recently started training. Though I hope for a miracle I understand life isn't a fairy tale.

After everything Bodo Glimt did to get to this level and stage, football fans still doubt about them. I go for them winning over Sporting Lisbon. That is because, Manchester City are better than Real Madrid now, I don't think manager of Real Madrid can outsmart Pep Guardiola, absent of injury players has also lead to this. Arsenal have their best players rested during the Fa Cup game, they will beat Leverkusen.

Manchester City's qualification in the hands of Real Madrid will be like a dream as Real Madrid can never give them the chance to make it work especially now there chances of winning the La Liga is very slim. As for consistency i know Real Madrid have lost it but having or understanding the strategy required to go far in the champions league which Manchester City is not that equipped with such strategy. For some years now Real Madrid have not been opportune to become European champions so will not be ready to give there only chance to Manchester City no matter the circumstances which is why I consider them favourite to win over Manchester City

Real Madrid x3.33 Vs Manchester City x2.00; Draw x3.72
The odds are quite attractive for Madrid but with their current condition it would be a fair bet. They are missing a lot of players for the first leg including Jude, Rodrygo and Mbappe so it is only natural that the odds are like this even though they are playing at home.MJ It's certainly not what Madrid fans are expecting as they are in a tough spot at the end of the season and they know it will impact on performance.BMY I would like to see Madrid gain momentum in the first leg but with the current conditions it looks like being at Manchester City for 1x2 will be more likely to benefit.

I am scared that Liverpool might not be able to survive this meeting. Everyone would expect that Liverpool easily scale through but for the fact that Liverpool does not have that hitman that will turn up for them in a super moment, it will be difficult for them. Liverpool should just try and find Salah replacement or they change their coach incase he is the one watering down Salah's capacity. Bodo/Glimt is actually a (very) slight favourite against Sporting, but the odds are pretty much even. I'm surprised to see Real Madrid as such an underdog against Man City, despite having home advantage. Is there something I'm missing? Any major injuries/suspensions?
Bodo/Glimt could be the wonders of this season. Let's cross our fingers and watch. Real Madrid is hit with alot of injuries, that could be the reason. Anyhow, it should be pretty good round, I think any of these games could go either way, maybe except Leverkusen Vs Arsenal, where the best Leverkusen can hope for is probably a draw.
Arsenal is surviving this one... Let's wait for them in the finals.

~snip Real Madrid outweigh in this one of the most common draws in this stage of the CL in the last 10 years. It's quite unfortunate that Real Madrid are going to be in action without some key players. Games like this are always important, and having your key players also helps to give some form of advantage. Well, we can't be too certain that only good squad depth is going to decide the winner. Real Madrid has a very good history in the UCL, so injury might not just be enough criteria to write them off. And I won't be surprised to see a few supposed injured players in that game. And as for the draws, well, anyone that actually watches football should know that these draws are well calculated. I won't call it rigging because it doesn't necessarily identify as one. It's just a way of fixing the regular games with good history and excitement. Aside how they ended up with the group stage, if you take your time to observe this actual draws, you will find a pattern. PSG to face Chelsea, doesn't that sound familiar from the club world cup?. Liverpool to face Galatasaray, which is probably a continuation from what happened the last time. The possible winners between these two, which is likely to be PSG and Liverpool, is also another game that will certainly catch a lot of attention because of the past. Same thing goes for the other side of the table. So, it's not rigging. The whole draw still obeys the UEFA rule, while the gaming pattern remains the same for better exposure and to catch the attention of more audience. So, Real Madrid VS Manchester City is a fixture that is here to stay as far as UCL is concerned.

Here we go Guys !!!! Tomorrow night there will be the round 16 schedule, and Barcelona will play against Newcastle United. I think this match can be an easy hunt for the Catalan side because they are looking much better than Newcastle United. So that's why it will be an easy task for the Catalan side. Barcelona and Newcastle United H2H record is bit heavier on one side like Barcelona are dominator but still it's a UEFA Champions League competition, and anything can be happen and even Newcastle United have home ground advantage..... Guys below you will be able to see the expected lineup for the battle between Barcelona and Newcastle United. Hansi Flick is intending to used the same lineup which he used against Atlatico Madrid except for Ferran Torres like against Atlatico Madrid he was too awful and that's why Hansi Flick will used Robert Lewandowski as starter and the rest of the lineup will be same as previous. What did you think Guys. Let me know? image

Real Madrid, who have won 14 times, are the most successful club in the history of the UEFA Champions League. They have won matches from impossible situations many times and luck is on their side most of the time, so I think it is unreasonable to ignore Real Madrid as an underdog in big European matches. Because in football history, Real Madrid have played badly and won matches many times. However, both teams will have their form, injuries, tactics, and match pressure. So I think Manchester City will be under more pressure because they have a big challenge in the Premier League, especially if they want to win the league, they have to win almost all their matches.

Ferran shouldn't be starting in the first place, his performance is like a cycle with different stages from worst to perfect and resetting back to default every now and then. Lewandowski slows the game down too these days, he only delivers if he's in a position to shoot for a goal but it's still better than having Ferran start the match. Their last match against Bilbao in La Liga shows some signs of weakness. Hopefully, they don't end in the same setting today but Lamine needs to create chances rather than looking for a glorious title if they are truly going to win this game.

Did you know how many Laliga titles and UCL trophies that Ancelotti got for Real Madrid. Don't downgrade the old man with the highest experience for a baby coach.
Nobody is denying what he has won. Saying his team was playing badly is not downgrading; it's a fact. If you didn't watch them, I did. I'm not comparing him to Alonso or saying Alonso is abetter coach, I'm simply saying in his last season, Madrid were bad. And do you think now they are somehow better? Ancelotti did what he could but Real Madrid were not the best team in the Liga, let alone in the Champions League. Probably Ancelotti won even more than what he deserved with Real Madrid but the team was already going downhill, they made many mistakes. Now, without an experienced manager like Ancelotti, everything is simply amplified, but that was the team at the end.

Tomorrow night will be a big day for Galatasaray fans, as our team will play at home against Liverpool. If we eliminate Liverpool, we will advance to the quarter finals. I see the chances of winning as 40% for Galatasaray and 60% for Liverpool. Earlier in the league stage, we had beaten Liverpool 1–0 at home and I believe we can beat them again tomorrow night.
Galatasaray's current form is indeed quite good,, so it's not wrong to say that they could beat Liverpool again. Because, as we know, Liverpool lost to Galatasaray in the qualifying round, and that's clear evidence that Galatasaray still has a chance to win again. Moreover, the first leg will be held at Galatasaray's home ground,, which I think will be an advantage for Galatasaray. However,, it certainly won't be easy for Galatasaray to beat Liverpool this time. Liverpool's current form also seems to have improved slightly. So with that in mind,, Galatasaray must remain cautious and never underestimate Liverpool. Because if Liverpool can play at their best, it will certainly be troublesome for Galatasaray. So, although I personally have quite confidence in Galatasaray in this match,, I still wouldn't be surprised if Galatasaray loses this match.

This game between Manchester City and Real Madrid is definitely a matter of doubt, it is impossible to guarantee who will win this knockout stage. Since Manchester City is not the team like the last few seasons and their performance is not that perfect, if they lose against Real Madrid, they will lose. On the other hand, in my opinion, the performance of Manchester City and Real Madrid is almost the same as before, Madrid does not have experienced players. I think that some of the players who are currently there are injured, which will further disappoint Real Madrid. Since Real Madrid is the most experienced in the Champions League, it will depend on how well their new coach leads. Winning the match against Manchester City will not be easy at all, it will be a tough competition between the two teams.

However I’m expecting a very intense game in the Champions League between Galatasaray vs Liverpool, Galatasaray is at home, and they will be looking for a good opportunity to beat Liverpool at their home, because from the looks of things they’re not good away, and that is where they will find it difficult to play against Liverpool, Liverpool will be ready for them in this game, as well as both teams would be ready to face each other I hope it’s a good and strong game all together, I’m anticipating a very good and strong encounter. Talking about Van Dijk and Konate, I believe sometimes players have difficult game, and I’m believing they are ready for this game, they will have to show themselves approved in this game.

The odds for 1st leg of the round of 16 games for tomorrow/Wednesday (from 2UP.io) are as follows:
Atlético Madrid x1.53 Vs Tottenham x5.60; Draw x4.32
The match between Atletico Madrid and Tottenham which will be held tonight is an exciting game to watch or even bet on. It has been a long time since these two teams last met with their last match being in the International Champions Cup several years ago. The odds available show that Atletico Madrid is heavily favored over Tottenham. I personally think that the number of Tottenham players who are unable to play and even Tottenham's poor performance lately make it so. And when compared to Atletico Madrid they seem to be performing better lately or even in the last 5 games they have played. Atletico Madrid has won 4 of their last 5 games in several leagues they have played in. As for Tottenham they have performed very poorly by suffering 5 defeats in their last 5 Premier League matches. So I personally predict that Atletico Madrid will dominate this match given the stark difference in the two teams' performances. I'm confident that Atletico Madrid will easily beat Tottenham. And I'm sure that Atletico Madrid will not waste this first leg so that they don't have to fight so hard in the second leg later.
