Liverpool will likely win the second leg against Galatasaray, but Galatasaray clearly has a good plan to save their fate in the Champions League knockout phase. I tend to back Liverpool to go further, but I also can't ignore the good potential of Galatasaray who seem very eager to go higher. Liverpool have a better chance of winning, they are playing at home and this is something the team will likely take advantage of.

All this are just assumption and this is the same Liverpool that can not be predicted, Galatasaray and not going to take the second leg lightly and there is also a very high chance that Liverpool will be the ones to be knocked out, Liverpool can not be fully trusted to win the second leg, Galatasaray have a very good potential to knock out Liverpool, if it was Liverpool of then it would have even been better but not this current Liverpool.

But regardless, it feels like the Premier League teams are incredibly weak when they reach the round of 16. Manchester City has no chance of qualifying, Newcastle and Chelsea are the same, and Tottenham and Liverpool are no different. What is happening to this team, now only Arsenal can be relied on?

Not all premier league teams are weak and this is is not about the Premier league and a lot of premier league clubs have a lot of chances of qualifying, but just that things did not turn into out to be the way they are for a lot of them but after most of them have played the second leg then we are going to know those who are going to qualify to the next round or not because we all are anticipating.

How is it possible that Real Madrid will let 3 goals just like that to Man City? however in the second leg later Man City seems hopeless again because we know Real Madrid has secured its position.

While Chelsea and Tottenham they are left with a considerable goal deficit, it is rather impossible to qualify, but if they win it is possible because playing at home is at least a narrow win for the host.

Manchester City is out of the champions league that's something we can verify for sure because with the kind of dreadful performance that they are putting in, I doubt if they can actually make any come back in that game and as for sporting, it's also going to be very tough for them to stop the brilliance of that bodo team who have shown pure excellence in this their champions league campaign, dont know if there is a hidden story to tell that is awaiting bodo this year in the champions league.

With the current Real Madrid's momentum, it would be a really difficult fit for Manchester City to do a comeback in the second leg of this game. I think the absence of Kylian Mbappe has done more good to Madrid as i perceive the communication on the pitch with an outstanding flare of performance.

Manchester City has not being at their best in the past few games so i don't see the possibility of a come back in this game.

It's true that these teams all lost by three goals which may sound big but, one thing about football is always don't forget the place of surprise and comeback which we all have seen and witnessed countless times.I still believe that one team may still make it out of this round.


Three goals is not a too big result that may not be over turned in football, it all depends on determinations and the mentality of a team to win. These teams already know what is at stake i believe that their will approach this second leg with a do or die affairs.

This is champions league, even one goal could be hard to recover . The best thing to do is making sure you secure some point or you manage atleast draw for your side against second leg. It’s not always that easy to do comeback in game like this.

For sure, 3 goals isn’t too much but I doubt they can recover it with what they play at Bernabeu. The only advantage is that they are at home for the second leg, if anything  should go the other way for Realmadrid , all they have to do is lock up with the existing goals.

If Real Madrid allow Manchester City to get an early goal, it may become a serious problem for them, because not only will it put Manchester city at an advantage, it may likely affect Madrid psychologically and affect their performance which will then keep City at even more advantage. Playing against English teams as the away side is always difficult. There are many examples of it including Newcastle's being so close to beating Barcelona in the 1st leg.

this is a challenge where a prediction is always a very difficult thing to do, and i understand that it must be very difficult to face a team that has already scored 3 goals, but i also think that these teams are very strong and hungry so anything can really happen in this match, they certainly won't hold back

Honestly, your post really made me laugh, of course in a positive way. Fede really looked like Cristiano, maybe even better. Those kinds of goals, that first and second touch on the ball ,  very few players have that. Manchester City looked helpless and without ideas while the Madrid players were dancing on the pitch. This same Real Madrid have this season allow more than those goals to go in, so they way you see Manchester City switched off and conceded that much last week it’s same way that Real Madrid could easily switch off in this game too if they are not careful. This is the champions league if there is any team that should be aware of crazy comebacks happening then it is them.

It does happens and this is football we are talking about that is full of expectations also. After Real Madrid scored three goals in the first leg of the competition, I wanted to also cancel out Manchester City that they can’t continue in the competition. My reasons were that, Real Madrid already had the chance by scoring three goals, they won’t just sit back in the second leg and not defend that win.

Secondly, been a team well known in the champions league as being the best at it, they won’t stoop low and allowed to be disqualified having come these far, they’ll fight to dominate the game even more in the second leg. Arsenal won't lose the match. If Leverkusen had won their home match, maybe they would have had a chance but I don't think that they will score more than 1 goal. Arsenal is likely to score at least 2 goals. At the very best Leverkusen could make it into overtime, but the chances are very bad. I know it is only a draw, but it woulds till be a sensation if they eliminated Arsenal.

Chelsea has no chance because PSG is able to score at any point in time during the match and it is hard to believe that Chelsea could score 4 goals against them. If they score 4 goals, I don'tt hink PSG won't score at all.

Manchester City has to play the best match ever. As far as I know Mbappe will be back and that is not good news for Manchester City.
