As hosts, Manchester City now have to endure humiliation after being defeated again by Real Madrid with a score of 1-2, following their previous 0-3 defeat. Vinicius was the hero in today's match, playing well and scoring two goals against Manchester City. However, Manchester City is currently in better form, having not conceded as many goals as in the first leg, when they failed to score a single goal against Real Madrid

manchester Cityy has now failed to advance to the quarter-finals after losing to Real Madrid Their struggles are over, and they can try again next season Meanwhile, Real Madrid has now advanced to the quarter-finals, and they must be prepared to face a team stronger than Manchester City. Real Madrid fans are certainly very happy right now
Not gonna lie, Vinicius did played well, I was impressed tbh.  they even ruled out one of his goals for offside and he still came back to score two.

At first I thought Man City would win, even after the red card, because they were actually playing well and dominating Real Madrid. It looked like the game was in their control at some point.

But somehow Real Madrid still ended up defeating them. City really need to do better because right now, they have lost form.

Many people were impressed by Real Madrid's great performance because despite some of their best players being injured, they played well with this XI. Vinicius played a great role for Real Madrid, he scored two goals alone to bring the team to victory against Man City. However, Manchester City attacked a lot in the beginning but later when their players left the field after receiving red cards, they played with a lot of frustration and showed weakness.
As a result, Real Madrid gradually strengthened their attack and at the last moment they qualified by scoring two goals. Manchester City can perform very well in this match at their home ground, many thought they would win but it turned out to be a complete difference which gave the Real Madrid team the victory and they qualified for the next round.

Vini constantly provokes the crowd and then acts like a victim the moment he gets some heat back. if he just kept it class and celebrated normally, nobody would care.
and he was really ghosting yesterday, too. Missed so many sitters that even a basic striker would’ve finished. Mbappe would’ve had a hat trick.

You're writing nonsense, Vinni is giving in to provocations, yes, but he's just responding to the insults directed at him. Do you remember the banner that was dedicated to that scandalous Ballon D'or  "stop crying your heart out"? Vinnie repaid them in kind. Honestly, I don't know how City fans sleep at night: they've been destroyed by Real Madrid for three seasons in a row, yet they still open their mouths and have complaints.

This is very likely. Bodo have lost their spark in the champions league. I guess they thought it was all over after the first leg and conceived a defensive idea. They felt they can hold them off to just 2 goals and should they be able to manage a 3rd goal, they would find a way to get 1 goal.
Well, all that has being smoked as it is. Sporting CP has being on the front foot since the kick off and they are not giving Bodo any breather. It?s go to be the end for Bodo, the Juventus and Gala story isn?t going to resurface here.

I don't think they're done for, in fact i think they still have some ammunition left to shoot, and they haven't quite reached the end, but i think there's still hope for them, everything is possible in football, let's not forget the absurd results we've seen over time, however i think that just having got there is a great satisfaction.
It's a shame Bodo were eliminated so early, as we still need an anomalous club in the Champions League that has repeatedly surprised us, and Bodo has always done so against the big teams. Despite their elimination against Sporting, I still appreciate their efforts so far. Honestly, the Bodo players mentality at Sporting home seemed lost and they seemed resigned to the home team.

Vinicius wasn't having a particularly good day either. He wasted three crucial chances. We could have been talking about a match where he scored five goals today. Manchester City were lucky that Vini only scored two. Vinicius had a serious altercation with the fans. If he ever leaves Real Madrid, Manchester City would probably be the last team he'd go to.

Only thing that could make this game be any different would be 2 goal difference, which is more possible but at three goal difference that's not an easy gap to close and we could probably see that be the end of it. I know that City is a great team and I know that Pep is the best manager we have seen since Ferguson, but all of that combined still can't really comeback from a three goal deficit. Could it in theory happen? Obviously it can, just like how Real Madrid won 3-0 on the first game, in theory at least, City could win 3-0 on the second game, but that's harder than it looks.

Exactly, i also expect this to be a very difficult match and a match as you defined it.

FEROCIOUS is exactly what i expect, Real Madrid are also favorites for the number of goals they scored, but i don't think City will let themselves be put down so easily, i can't wait to spoil the match which will be one of the best this year!

What are you writing, my friend? What planet are you living on? Even if you looked at the previous messages, you should have understood that this match was already played. Real Madrid already advanced to the next round by winning 2-1 yesterday. I wish you had read the forum a little. Writing automated messages is very wrong and against the forum's principles, in my opinion.

Early red card for City ruined the excitement of the match. Would Real have won if City hadn't been reduced to 10 men? Impossible. Real's last-minute goal wasn't a surprise. City, playing with 10 men, exerted a lot of effort and faded towards the end of the match.

Real advanced to the next round, but I still don't think the football they played was good enough for the Champions League. Bayern Munich are currently the big favorites.

Bodo can't create any chances and Sporting Lisbon is having a comfortable match. What a game. Sporting Lisbon made a magnificent comeback. Perhaps Bodo got too complacent and thought they could eliminate them. Maybe they shouldn't have played defensively. If they had played their normal game, maybe they would have had a chance against the Portuguese. With 15 minutes left in extra time, it doesn't seem very likely that Bodo will score.

Bodo will definitely play a good match and as they did against Inter they will send them to the ropes, i is more than convinced, this team is the real surprise of the year, and who would have ever expected it? i certainly don't, i is really happy that these unknown clubs can do it against big clubs.

People will always find something to complain about. If Vini had scored five goals, many would have started calling him a stat padder. We know many such examples, right?  Wink Let's not forget that Vini is only 25 years old, he already has 2 Champions League titles, he has excellent statistics in the Champions League playoffs over many seasons and he makes a difference. As long as he produces results, nothing else matters. He has emotional problems, but if you've been paying attention, they're much less now than when he started at Real Madrid. With age, he'll reach another level of calm (which I can't say about the fans of the teams he'll upset).

PSG is in a mission that no one knows, i heard a news that PSG are trying to do what Real Madrid did by winning 3 Champions League in a row and i think the news is true, PSG is not doing well from the beginning of the season and now see how they are playing in the Champions League,

I don't think they can do what Real Madrid did. I'm not saying it's not possible, but they won't do it. They have not even won this year's own, talk more about doing it a third time on a roll is something else. They still have to get through Liverpool or Gala, and then go through Bayern Munich or Real Madrid before they get to the final. And even if they win it back to the back, winning it next year would be another fight. It's very difficult to win the Champions League three times in a row. Even the peak Barcelona couldn't do it. They got knocked by Inter the second year in 2010 after winning it in 2009, then won it again in 2011.
The UCL is very competitive. The fact that they beat Chelsea home and away so easily doesnt mean they would do that to every team they meet.

Extremely disappointed by Manchester City. Getting eliminated by this Real Madrid losing both matches is humiliating. If they don't win the Premier League either I wonder if Guardiola will remain the manager for the next year too. I feel like his time at Ethiad has come to an end. They bought a lot of players during the last years, spending a huge amount of money, and they got very little results. After winning the Champions League they began a renovation process that is clearly not working.
As i know Pep is unlikely stay at City next season. It seems the current season is not going like he wanted. There's no talk regarding his contract extension too. So i expect him to leave from my club, then Maresca to enter in as the new manager.
I believe Pep is washed. So it's time to replace him with a fresh manager like Maresca.

Pep feels so difficult to learn from his mistakes, and he's yet to learn from some wrongdoing he made to the club. So it's time to appoint someone who can potentially perform to handle club. It's Maresca.
If City finish with trophyless, it's time for Pep to leave, but i fully respect Pep for everything he gave to City.

Pep is a head coach with his favorite style of leaving a club when he feels like he and his players already hit limits and will go downside soon. When he sees such early signals of going downside next seasons, he will proactively leave the club and he actually did it with Barcelona and Bayern Munich. In Manchester City, he has stood there for a very long time but his efforts to renew and rebuild the squad one more time in two latest seasons seems to fail and I believe that he is smart and experienced enough to realize it.

I am unsure that Maresca will be able to replace Pep well in Manchester City and whether the club wants to work with this coach who did not succeed with Chelsea.

They could have put a dummy in the penalty area and it still would've bagged a goal in the second half. in my opinion Real Madrid has grown incredibly lax. players are far too nonchalant, especially Vini. he just plays his own game with random dribbles and shots.

After Sporting Lisbon scored five goals yesterday to qualify for the quarter finals, i don't think I'll doubt the possibility of anything in the Champions League anymore. It takes determination to achieve great things and if PSG is determined that they'll meet up with Madrid's record by winning the Champions League thrice in a row then it's possible

Why i said so is because they have the squad that's capable of achieving it and a coach that can help make it possible, although it won't be easy, theyll be decieving themselves if they think it would be easy cause it was never easy for Real Madrid when they did it. They'll have to ensure they beat the next opponents until they get to the finals, lets watch out for who they'll meet next.

As we all know, Barcelona are strong at home, but Newcastle (like most English teams) are capable of pulling off a surprise.
I don't know if it's an accurate info but there is around 10K Newcastle fans are expected in Barcelona tonight, with only 3K holding tickets... Which means that tonight will be high tension between supporters.
Can Barcelona get the win? Personally, I believe they can, it feels too early for them to exit at this stage.

Barcelona and Newcastle have the same chance to win now. The aggregate is 1-1, and in the second leg there might also be a tight competition. If the news about a large number of Newcastle fans coming is true, there will certainly be tension between the supporters. Moreover, quite a few Newcastle fans will definitely not be able to enter the stadium.
Barcelona is playing at home, hopefully they will show a good performance in this decisive match. Chelsea and Man City have been eliminated, there might be some representatives from the Premier League who will also be knocked out. Arsenal has secured a place in the quarter-finals. Maybe Liverpool will get a chance.

Bodo will definitely play a good match and as they did against Inter they will send them to the ropes, i is more than convinced, this team is the real surprise of the year, and who would have ever expected it? i certainly don't, i is really happy that these unknown clubs can do it against big clubs.
Bodo glimt has break a new record for reaching these far in the champions league, I think no other club in Norway has done what Bodo glimt did in the champions league. They were consistent against big teams so it's normal to be surprise as they couldn't defend against sporting cp and were eliminated from the champions league. We had the big surprise from sporting CP as they defeat bodo glimt 5-3 who had previous defeated inter milan, man city and atlectico madrid. despite the three goals advantage against sporting cp, they couldn't capitalize on it or use to their own advantage.

I expect to Bayern score even more goals to boast their ego, Atalanta might conceding more goals because if they could concede 6 goals in their home stadium then playing away should be much more devastating as Bayern will seek to entertain their fans as they show off their dominance and scoring prowess.

I don't think Atalanta will play to be put down, but Bayern Munich is certainly one of the last Italian teams to find themselves at that level, the other Italian teams haven't even come close to the level that Atalanta has reached at this level, they were certainly also unlucky to have found such a strong team..

Barcelona avoided a loss in a first match in England and they will return to Spain and Nou Camp stadium for a second match with confidence that they will be able to beat Newcastle United there. The English club already wasted a very good opportunity to beat Barcelona in the first match, and they will have to play in Spain under very big pressure from Barcelona.

It's not easy to control Lamine Yamal match by match and with a player like him, one or two moments can decide the match result while Barcelona have very diversifying attacking power contribution from many good attacking players. It will make Newcastle United harder to avoid conceded goals and a defeat in Nou Camp.

I don't think Atalanta will play to be put down, but Bayern Munich is certainly one of the last Italian teams to find themselves at that level, the other Italian teams haven't even come close to the level that Atalanta has reached at this level, they were certainly also unlucky to have found such a strong team..
Atalanta done in the first match and they even have to move to Germany for playing against Bayern Munich, it's even much harder than Manchester City, and Chelsea had to yesterday. Playing home away, with big defeat in the first match, and against a very strong opponent like Bayern Munich, there will be certainly no magic for Atalanta in this match.

With the kind of competitive performance of Newcastle United in the first leg at home, I wouldn't be that surprised if they gives this Barcelona team a very good fight because Barcelona were very lucky with the last minute penalty that gave them a draw in the first leg, but even though Barcelona are the clear favourite here, they should take this Newcastle United team very serious, if not, they may regret every act of complacency in this game.
But if I want to gamble on this game, I will be going with a direct winning in favour of Barcelona, since they have more experience in this level, and their squad quality is a lot better than that of Newcastle United, but the game will be interesting and competitive to watch if Newcastle United can play as they did in the first leg that ended in a draw.
