Paris Liverpool is the game who makes me more excited about it, i mean maybe Real Madrid against Bayer Munich is the best in terms of history names and the two are the real contenders to win this tournament, but i feel like we can witness a much fun to watch game on the Liverpool PSG, but if you ask me i think this PSG is gonna destroy Liverpool. SLot is not doing good.

Liverpool is not performing up to the expectations of most football fans. Therefore, PSG might win on this game. The French side is not as good as it was last season but they still have the quality. Most of the players who contributed greatly to the success of the club in both the UCL and the Ligue One are still available.

Real Madrid against Bayern Munich is the biggest match. The German side is topping the Bundesliga and has a good coach and some sound players. Real Madrid's weakness might be the tactical part of the game. They have a young coach that had not been proven and tested in big games like this. Álvaro Arbeloa would be pleased to have Mbappe fit for these important games.

I'd have loved to be happier today after the last results in the CL. However we messed up a lot against Liverpool and got off lightly as well. The final score could have been much worse! 

Barcelona and Bayern Munich stepped forward with their huge wins in last 16. It's time for quarter finals... Who are your favourites matchups for semi finals? Mine are like this:

- PSG v Bayern Munich

- Barcelona v Arsenal

So you are underestimating Real Madrid to reach the semis, that's a joke right? Real Madrid will beat Bayern Munich, PSG will win Liverpool for sure, Barcelona will beat Atletico Madrid and obviously, Arsenal will win Sporting Lisbon. I could still remember how Arsenal won Sporting Lisbon with a massive score of 5:1 in 2024/2025 UCL season, i don't think anything will change this season. So, on my own prediction of teams that will make it to the semifinal are; Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona and Arsenal. Almost same teams that made it to the semifinals last season, it's only Inter Milan that's not on the list. The draw for the semifinals will probably be PSG versus Real Madrid and Barcelona versus Arsenal. However, the toughest game of the quarter finals is definitely going to be Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich.

To those who think Arsenal has drawn a weaker opponent compared to the other quarterfinal matches, I’d like to point out that this is a misconception.

Sporting is definitely a good team, but if Arsenal could chose their oponnent, do you think they would chose anyone else as their oponnent instead of them? I am not so sure.

One could argue that maybe playing Atletico Madrid would be easier, but that's debatable.

Newcastle was unable to win the first match but draw with Barcelona. We should expect that Barcelona would win this match. I was not following it, maybe I would have bet on it. I only bet on Bayern which was a very good match with first half win of 1.75 odd. But I will still say that Newcastle really tried for making it up to this level.

Newcastle is not a team that can worry Barcelona and that doesn't scare this team very much, they are playing to try to win, no team plays to lose, but it must be said that this team will not be at their level and never will be, in fact the victory was overwhelming.

I am still quite surprised that Madrid managed to win in England. Congratulations to Madrid. One mistake made by Bernando Silva weakened Man City. Man City only played with 10 men. Madrid's goal in this second leg was scored after Bernando Silva received a red card. Maybe if Silva hadn't received a red card, Man City could have caused an upset. An aggregate of 5-1 is quite convincing for Madrid to advance. Man City can now focus on the EPL.

The red card actually affected the game of Manchester City that day, and I did not expect anything different, but even at that, they had a better opportunity to win, and the moment the red card came in, there performance dropped and there is nothing that will change even if we say anything because Real Madrid had already removed them, and one of the things that Real Madrid was targeting was the fact that they wanted to win the first leg with a good goal margin. And that is what they did.

Real Madrid put their heart into it and showed everyone that they are the best, now they must try to have this path as tight as possible and still have the strength to take advantage of all the opportunities that will be available from now on, i understand that it is not easy and that this is a job of perseverance but they can definitely do it.

And everyone thought Real Madrid was not going to win the match because of how they have been performing in La Liga, and I was kind of happy that the city was going to do well, but at the end of the day, Real Madrid surprised us by winning, and I know that it was not going to be easy, but since we did not make it, then next season we are going to do better, and we can even go to the extent of winning the Champions League next season.

Liverpool would do better than Chelsea, they have more players that are experience in the Champions League and a better defence that would stop PSG from scoring too many goal like they did against Chelsea. You could see how they defended properly at Anfield and Galatasaray couldn't penetrate their defense, they even have to take down their talisman and make it tougher for Galatasaray, they could repeat same thing against PSG at Anfield. Although PSG is the strongest among both teams.

The quarter finals are very interesting at the moment because 3 of the 4 matches are all big matches, I slightly ruled out Arsenal against Sporting even though Sporting is also a big club in their league but compared to the other clubs in the quarter finals at the moment then they will be considered as a dark horse club for this quarter final.

Arsenal are clearly superior in terms of probability but the Champions League is a bit tricky for us to predict from the start even for Sporting who are 3 goals down to Bodo they can make a comeback in the last 16.
For the other 3 matches I think they have an equal probability because they are the ruling club in their respective leagues although currently Liverpool are also in a trend that is not very good but for the EPL they are the hope besides Arsenal so they must be able to work harder against PSG.

Still the easiest opponent is Sporting CP compared to other teams --- such as Barcelona, Madrid, PSG and Bayern are the most difficult opponents for Arsenal if they meet, but do not underestimate the opponent, still, is Sporting's opponent better?

If Arsenal meet Atletico Madrid, I think Arsenal will still be the choice of many people considering Arsenal are now much stronger than Atletico, this is just my view from assessing the value of the current team.

Obviously Arsenal seems to be the luckiest in this quarter final, I don't see anything much about Sporting CP. Of course it is up to them to get an easy win and qualify to the semifinal because it will be a very big shame if they fail to utilize this opportunity, even though Champions league can be unpredictable sometime but I don't think it will affect Arsenal in this game because this is their chance of getting to the final.

I believe that the results we are going to have will be shocking to everyone. Champions league is full of surprises and this is where we are going to see a lot of surprises and shock. The teams we are expecting to win may end up losing, every team right now will be very determined and focused to win the champions league, they will put their best to make sure that they go to finals and so right now is not a time of saying this team is the best or is performing well, let’s just wait and see how everything we go for me. I expect Arsenal to win their match. I also expect PSG to win their match, the most difficult game will be the one of Bay Munich and Real Madrid. It will be the most difficult game and most interesting game to watch and also the one of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

It's just sad and all for me... I mean there is no problem with losing to a top club like Liverpool in this way. The thing I was frustrated with was the way we played...  

Once again we played like we did against Juventus away. We were simply terrible! But this time we had a much more powerful competitor against us. Galatasaray should be thankful for not losing by a historical score.


I wonder if Liverpool will have revenge on PSG this time. You know PSG barely eliminated them by penalties last season.

I'd like to hear your predictions regarding Liverpool and PSG because Liverpool's current form is also different from last season, making it difficult to predict. Arsenal is much stronger than Sporting, although they drew in the first leg, but overall, Arsenal played much better in the second half. At least there are still two English teams that will advance to the next round and I hope both teams can produce much better results this season in the Champions League.

The better teams all got their wins on this leg. Did not expected Barcelona to have a 7 goal victory to be fair, after the first game being a tie, I assumed the second game would be slowed down a bit and Barcelona would still win but barely, that did not happen, we have seen them end up with amazing second game and got a very easy victory and destroyed Newcastle.

And not like Newcastle played badly, they managed to play as well as they could hope for and hanged with Barcelona for a while until Barcelona just started to dissect Newcastle completely.

Did you watch Liverpool and Galatassaray yesterday? I don't pay attention to Liverpool match because I don't find it interesting. When the team you adore continue to lose, you lose interest in anything they played but what they played against Galatassaray was more than what I expected. I will not make any conclusions about what is going to happen to PSG in the upcoming quarter final, perhaps after one game one can draw conclusion about the next leg.

Real Madrid vs Bayern, there are many things that are not clear about this matche, courtois is out for the next match, although Real Madrid has Lunin and in all he has played in the Champions League, he has proved to be an OG. He was the reason why Real Madrid were able to won the 2024 Champions League until Courtois came back from the injury. Perhaps this is another opportunity to showcase what he can do so Madrid can be able to qualify for semi final.

These are all big game and I will say to you that they are all very unpredictable, all these teams are doing very well in their domestic league and some league of them are even league leaders, so when I see you picking out teams to beat the other with confidence I just sigh.

At this point of the tournament every team is very dangerous and it not just down to the quality a team posses but how tactically good is the manager, for me I would tell you that at this stage the managers now have a big say on which team now qualifies.

Just like you said the interesting game will be that of Real Madrid Vs bayern Munich, it going to be a very entertaining game, both teams have a lot of respect for each other. In this game I can’t say who is favorite but I I know something for sure, both teams will be stronger when they play at home.

The quarter final will be interesting sure but Arsenal vs sporting will be the cheep game for Arteta and I get the believe that Arteta have already qualified to the semi finals and they will be waiting between Athletico Madrid or Barcelona one of them will face them in the semi final this season. He seems that Arsenal can get the opportunity to play final this season and even get more chances to achieve the trophy, but for now I don't get sure if they can win it because they us have tough clubs in the competition and we will see who will get the opportunity to play the final this season.

 Real Madrid are still in the Champions League so have not decided who can win the ucl this season they need to eliminate madrid first before you can decide who will win it next because if madrid are in the Champions League they are always the best to win it, and you will see there round of 16th many fans are saying Manchester City will eliminate madrid in the ucl this season but at ends madrid eliminate them and win the first leg and second that should have show that madrid are in a good form in the ucl this time around.

I must admit that PSG has a greater chance than Liverpool, but I still hope the match will be exciting and both teams will show their best qualities. Liverpool qualified confidently against Galatasaray, and that has boosted the players morale to continue their fight in the Champions League.

Honestly, Real Madrid must prevent Bayern from doing the same thing they did to other teams who fell victim to the goal scoring prowess of Kane and his teammates. If Real Madrid can overcome Bayern Munich and advance, that would be a big sign, but conversely if Bayern Munich advances without any problems, Bayern will automatically have more confidence heading into the semifinal.
