The round of 16 is over. Over to the quarter finals. This is the most likely fixture we will see in the UCL quarter finals.

Arsenal vs Sporting CP

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich
PSG vs Liverpool

I believe that this is the strongest stage in the UEFA Champions league, I think Arsenal has an easy fixture though this football and no team should be underrated Sporting did a surprising thing against Bodo from 3 zero down in the first leg to 5-0 win in the second leg but Arsenal is stronger than Bodo and I believe they can eliminate Sporting. Barcelona vs ATM will be a tough game they are their strength in the Laliga the better team will qualify, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich shouldn't be a game to miss, I also think that PSG can eliminate Liverpool as the team seem to be inconsistent this season.

In the Champions League quarterfinals, everything will be different, and Liverpool is a team with a strong mentality when playing in the Champions League, which allows them to perform at their best in matches full of pressure, so I think Liverpool cannot be equated with Chelsea. 

Overall, the strength of Liverpool and PSG is not much different, and each of us has our own speculation on which perspective to look at this from. However, what must be realized is that both teams still have the same percentage chance to advance to the semifinals, and it seems I slightly favor Liverpool, after seeing what they did against Galatasaray, which proves their strong mentality.

Don’t forget that Atlético Madrid defeated Barcelona when they met in the Copa del Rey semifinals last season. And even Atlético Madrid eliminated Barcelona by aggregate. And Atlético Madrid’s home form is still stronger than Barcelona’s. As for the upcoming match I think Barcelona might be able to win the first leg against Atlético Madrid at Camp Nou. But Barcelona won’t have an easy time defeating Atlético Madrid when they play at the Metropolitano in the second leg. However this matchup between the two Spanish teams in the Champions League quarterfinals is one of the most anticipated matches of this stage. I personally will try my luck by betting on Barcelona to win the first leg. And I’ll bet on Barcelona to qualify for the second leg.

I'd have loved to be happier today after the last results in the CL. However we messed up a lot against Liverpool and got off lightly as well. The final score could have been much worse!

Arsenal have a quite easy opponent that is only Sporting while Barcelona will meet Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich will face with Real Madrid. They're a little bit stronger but it's not enough to win against Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid. In this season, we already witnessed how FK Bodø/Glimt beat Inter Milan in both matches and if FK Bodø/Glimt could make such big surprises, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid can do the same thing, even much better and impressive.

I still think that Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich will be three clubs in the semi finals but Barcelona and Bayern Munich will not have their easy quarter final matches.

Real Madrid aren't given much of a chance against Bayern, but they could experience something similar again. If Real Madrid beat Bayern, everyone will see them as champions. This is the quarter finals and any team that have made this far shouldn't be underrated or elevated above the others. At this stage Liverpool should be seen as psg equals and off truth Liverpool has being formidable and consistent in the competition. Even if psg is the defending their crown and aim to win it back-back doesn't mean Liverpool can't withstand their strength. Liverpool has won the champions league six times, with their previous experience and trophies won, they are a formidable team and can match psg strength so they shouldn't be underrated.

Apparently Liverpool has a lot of fans and optimists   so bookmakers take their opinions into account - I was surprised yesterday when I saw that PSG were quoted at 1.83 for the first game in Paris. It's clear that this is the playoffs and the result could be anything, and Liverpool has an excellent background as a cup team, but PSG, in my opinion, is underrated. I don’t know what the outcome of whole confrontation will be, but in the game in Paris I will definitely bet on PSG. On paper, Liverpool and Chelsea are somewhere close...

Tbh, when it comes to Real Madrid in the Champions League, I don't think they should ever be considered underdogs no matter who they are playing, given their success in the competition.

Having said that, I do hope that Bayern kicks their ass. I just can't stand Vinicius and I don't remember the last time a football player annoyed me as much as him.

Real Madrid haven’t been particularly convincing this season, especially  with so many of their players suffering from injuries. So it’s quite reasonable that many people consider Bayern Munich to be better  than them, as Bayern Munich have  been fairly consistent in their performances, whether in the Bundesliga or the Champions League.

But that doesn’t mean Real Madrid no longer  stands a chance, because despite all their problems, Real Madrid could still knock Man City out of the Champions League, and I think  they could well do the same to Bayern Munich. In addition, Mbappé is back on the pitch and Bellingham should be too when  they face Munich later on.

I don't really agree that any game is easy at this point of the competition,  although we might all favor Arsenal to win against Sporting,  but I will not want to write them off completely. I think one of the fixtures I would really like to watch is the game against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid,  because I think that match will be very unpredictable,  considering what Real Madrid did to Manchester City,  so I really can wait to watch them play against Bayern Munich.  I also think that the game between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona can also go either ways because I think it will be difficult for the both team, since they are both from the same league.

Arsenal should indeed be able to beat Sporting in the quarterfinals. unless, of course, Arsenal starts to lose its focus and strength. I hope Arteta doesn’t miss this opportunity this season, as arsenal seems to have an easier path compared to other teams. real madrid has a tough road ahead. In the round of 16 they faced Manchester City, and now they have to face Bayern, who are also very strong.
Arsenal is lucky enough not to have drawn an opponent as tough as the one Real Madrid is facing. but still, every team has its own strengths that can be quite surprising.
As for Liverpool, I don’t think they’ll be able to go any further.

It's funny how you think beating Sporting Lisbon would be easy, after how they removed Bodo/Glimt that beat Inter, Manchester City, Dortmund etc you think Arsenal would easily win them? This is the Champions League and you shouldn't underestimate any team no matter the league they're representing. PSG is favourites but Liverpool is a tougher opponent and would be hard to play against at Anfield. As for Barcelona, they'll want their revenge against Atletico Madrid. Let's see how it would be, as you said.

Madrid vs Munich has become a hot topic lately, and many people are saying that Munich will win. Some even claim that Bayern is far better than Madrid. That’s fine, but do we remember how Madrid managed to beat Munich before thanks to Joselu’s contribution? And do you remember how Man City were heavily favored and expected to eliminate Madrid?

It’s actually quite simple. I admit Madrid have issues with injured players and their results haven’t been as perfect as Munich's. But one thing I always keep in mind is that when it comes to experience, Madrid are on a completely different level. That experience builds mentality, and that mentality can push the players to stay motivated and fight harder to reach the semifinals.

I could still remember how Arsenal won Sporting Lisbon with a massive score of 5:1 in 2024/2025 UCL season, i don't think anything will change this season. So, on my own prediction of teams that will make it to the semifinal are; Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona and Arsenal. Almost same teams that made it to the semifinals last season, it's only Inter Milan that's not on the list. The draw for the semifinals will probably be PSG versus Real Madrid and Barcelona versus Arsenal. However, the toughest game of the quarter finals is definitely going to be Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich.

Real madrid to win Bayern Munich? I don't really think so like it's going to be a one heck of a game because before then Real madrid all injured players might have come back so it will so likely be like the clash of the Titan like i can't really tell who could win between them but i'm very much certain Real madrid can't beat Bayern Munich like they has done to Manchester city, but if truly i will bet on that game then i will definitely bet on Bayern Munich to win because i see more confidence in Bayern Munich than Real madrid so i will definitely bet on Bayern Munich to win.

I supported Real Madrid to beat Manchester City in the round of 16 when the odd was against Real Madrid and my support for Real Madrid was not a waste as Real Madrid won Manchester City at Bernabeu and Etihad. Bayern Munich is the second most inform club this season, and on paper they are the favorite to win Real Madrid, but i think Real Madrid will pull off another surprise against Bayern Munich in the champions league quarter finals because they have won Bayern Munich more in their past champions league matches and they know how to win against Bayern Munich.
