The only fixture I'll change here is the Barca vs Athletico one. Barcelona goes through definitely.

Arsenal getting through is understandable and I agree with this;
ATM getting through ahead of Barcelona is something I do not endorse, Barcelona is ahead of them even in their local league;
Bayern Munich beating Real Madrid is something that could happen, even if no one counts Real Madrid out in the champions league.
PSG winning against Liverpool is not something that is also easy.
We are going to have matches ahead.

The best teams made it to this level and it would be hard to predict the outcomes of these games. Arsenal have shown to be strong this season, so I am picking them to move further. Barcelona would find it hard to beat their opponent because both sides are familiar with each other.  But I still give it to Barca. PSG and Bayern Munich will make it to the semi-finals because they have two of the best coaches in Europe.

Liverpool literally lost to Galatasaray twice this season, before finally be able to beat them. If you think they have even a small chance, you are only kidding yourself. They are obviously not a good team and only managed to come this far because of a few lucky wins, and be able to draw easy opponents, if they were on the other side, I think Atletico Madrid could have beaten them easily.

So, it's normal to assume that they are not going to end up with a good result here against PSG. If it was another team maybe they would have a chance, like Sporting Lisbon is there for example and if they were facing a weak team like that then yeah maybe, but they are facing PSG, a team that won everything last year and I think looks like ready to do it again this year.

Arsenal have the easiest work to do among the other teams in the current phase. Sporting can't be underrated of course but they don't have the power to fight Arsenal at the same level at Emirates...

Atletico Madrid eliminated Barcelona in the Copa del Rey but I don't expect it to happen here. PSG are worse than last season but Liverpool are even worse than them in my opinion.

The remaining draw is a really tough one, I know. But I'm with Bayern Munich here. They are better than Manchester City.

I wouldn't be biased here but I think PSG will trash Liverpool and eliminate them out of the competition because Liverpool doesn't have the strength to withstand PSG pressure. Liverpool hasn't been performing well in the Champions League in recent times. Last season that they were in their best form, they couldn't go far. It's true that Newcastle won't be on Barcelona's level because the gap between the two is so obvious, but being thrashed 7-2 was a real humiliation, like Barcelona playing against a second division team, it was a real shame for them.

English clubs have been humiliated, you're right, but in my opinion, Manchester City has had the most humiliating performance among these English clubs in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matches.This team has not been able to withstand Real Madrid in any match of the Champions League knockout stage. However, another team that showed the most weakness in the second leg was Newcastle. They earned the honour of drawing at home against the mighty Barcelona in the first leg of the UCL Super Sixteen but after that we observed something different as in the second leg, Barcelona defeated the English club on their home field by a score of 7-2 and reached the quarterfinals.

i am a long time football follower and in my view, the current Bayern Munich roster is one of their 5-6 weakest since the 80s. That said, their institutional culture and heritage are something else. To me, they are the world's most prestigious club right after Real Madrid. occupying a tier of importance that even giants like Barcelona can't quite touch.

Almost all Premier league teams in champions league were a complete disappointment in this stage. Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and now Newcastle. What Barcelona did to Newcastle yesterday was a total humiliation. I think the debate on Premier league being the toughest and the best league among other leagues should now be put aside because it's far from reality. PSG dominated Chelsea both first and second leg. Manchester city succumbed to Real Madrid pressure both home and away as well, likewise Tottenham even though they attempted to turn things around in the second leg but were not successful. Newcastle had a decent first leg with Barcelona and we assumed they stand a chance in the second leg but Barcelona did not only win, they embarrassed Newcastle totally.

Arsenal are in good form this season and I don't think sporting can stop them from performing well and stop them from qualifying to the next round of the Champions League. I can says that is only Arsenal that have weak opponents in the quarter finals and I get the believe that Arsenal will eliminate sporting and move to semi final this season, let see how the first leg will ends and we will know if sporting can probably stop Arsenal or not.

Yes they are really the luckiest and again they still have a lot to do because it is very dangerous to underestimate a team even though they are small club, and again I don't consider sporting as a small Club because if they are, they could not make it to this level. And the draw arsenal played actually helped them and I love how we ended the game with draw because it gave us a good advantage for a come back and that is one of the best strategies that Arteta used there and it worked and from when they came back for the second leg everything became different and Arsenal was able to win there game and now they have qualified for the next round I know Arsenal was going to make us proud by all means.

Sproting Cp in quality is different from Arsenal and we can see a very far difference but in the champions league it is different, something is definitely possible as long as the ball rolls on the field, but if we look on paper, Arsenal's position is very favorable for this quarter-final match, we can see the semi-finals in sight.

Until Arsenal meet Barcelona, they are not going out of the champions league. Sporting cp may have played well against bodo, but they won't stand a chance against Arsenal. It's not possible for sporting cp to score Arsenal up to 4 goals, it is literally the number of goals sporting cp will need to surpass Arsenal. The last team that scored Arsenal up to 3 goals was Manchester United. I can't remember any other team. In the champions league this season, Arsenal has not conceded up to 3 goals in a single match.

I also agree with you about it. I don't think it will happen twice in the same season. Copa del Rey and CL aren't at the same importance level for these teams. I'm confident with Barcelona to play much better here! 

I have similar expectations with the other qualifiers. If one of them fails it might be Bayern Munich even though I adore their football this year. Because Real Madrid is always a strong opponent in this competition where they are like the owners.

Madrid might have difficulty facing Munich, but once again, they are a team with a champion mentality.
