What is expected of Newcastle to shock everyone to win Barcelona, is what has turned into a disgrace for Newcastle. I never expected Sporting CP to overturn the three goals advantage Bodø/Glimt had over them but they did it at ease and made it to the quarter final. The actual fact is that Chelsea has really dropped in standard since the club world cup finals that they both met, and the current coach of Chelsea is just not good enough tactically to compete at the highest level, because if you look at the quality in both teams, they are not that far apart, it's just the tactical brilliance and maturity that PSG used to beat them convincingly.

I think it is a very big disaster for sporting to play against Arsenal, currently as it is now arsenal is among the top teams that were expecting to win this league and not because of anything buy they have done very well in all the competition they are involved in and equally I see that in Champions League there are in the favorite group. Arsenal has been on top of the game since the season started, take a look at the first round of Champions League they stood firmly and never face any defeat and top the table up to the end of the first round.

During the round of 16 I was totally scared for Real Madrid because of their opponent which is Manchester City and now they are at it again against bayern Munich, I can't really say anything about this game but honestly it looks so tough because bayern Munich are so powerful than Manchester City, which are expect  Real Madrid will face a lot of challenges in this game.

I was not able to watch this match between Barcelona and Newcastle do to work stuffs. But when I checked scores online I was shocked with what I saw, because i can't imagine Barcelona winning Newcastle with that score, I expected to see below that something like 2:1, but what did saw 7:2.

I am not a Newcastle fan, but I was very disappointed yesterday when I saw the scores, i expected better from Newcastle. Newcastle losing the match is not a problem, but conceding 7 goals is something shameful. And from what I have read so far the Newcastle team never played that match with seriousness, they never planned of winning that yesterday match.

Almost all Premier league teams in champions league were a complete disappointment in this stage. Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and now Newcastle. What Barcelona did to Newcastle yesterday was a total humiliation. I think the debate on Premier league being the toughest and the best league among other leagues should now be put aside because it's far from reality. PSG dominated Chelsea both first and second leg. Manchester city succumbed to Real Madrid pressure both home and away as well, likewise Tottenham even though they attempted to turn things around in the second leg but were not successful. Newcastle had a decent first leg with Barcelona and we assumed they stand a chance in the second leg but Barcelona did not only win, they embarrassed Newcastle totally.

So many people have pointed Arsenal to be the only one to survive at the moment and the reason was because they are playing against weak team unlike other teams because they are all top teams. It is not going to be easy for Real Madrid for going against Bayern Munich, i don't know maybe before the match real Madrid will fully recover, but right now based on view i choose bayern Munich as the favorite in this particular match.

Between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, we all know what these two teams went through this season when they met, so in that regard I find it difficult to point finger at who to win. It’s certainly unfortunate that Osimhen had to be substituted for that reason. And that did indeed shake the team’s confidence from that moment on. Liverpool even seemed to find it easier to score goals after that. i also think the three goals scored in the second half were quite surprising, since they all happened in quick succession. galatasaray needs to improve their team so they don’t rely solely on one star player. they must maintain their confidence even if their star player has to be substituted or is absent due to injury. i think Galatasaray can be even better next season. I believe this team is motivated enough to keep improving their strength.

Bodo/Glimt didn't believe Sporting will score upto three goals. The goals from Sporting starting pumping in from 34' and still Bodo/Glimt felt they had things in control and decided to defend. Their performance improved slightly after the conceded the second goal in 61' and by then it was already late to strategize. Sporting took advantage of Bodo/Glimt strategy as they kept pressurizing their defense line. I mean I couldn't even believe Bodo/Glimt were only able to make 4 shots on target which is very far from their performance in the first leg.

ye i think they took a good beating and weren't able to do better than that, there's no way to recover when you don't expect such a high performance from your opponent and this is what you end up with, the other teams who faced the Bodo certainly underestimated their opponent, and this time they didn't and in fact they attacked right from the start.

In the first leg, things didn’t go very well for barcelona. but in the second leg, I think they were truly exceptional. Three goals in the first half and four in the second really made Barcelona look like a team that’s going to go far in the UCL this season. newcastle also looked good in the first half and managed to tie the score at 2-2. But they seemed to lose focus after falling behind at the end of the first half. so in the second half, newcastle actually seemed to lose strength in their defensive area. maybe they tried to be more aggressive on offense.. but they really weakened their defense quite drastically. Barcelona saw that and took full advantage of it.
