There is nothing spectacular left in Arsenal gameplay, and there was not that much in Atletico either. But on the same page, god a PSG versus Sporting final would make me simply not watch it.

I honestly never expected Barcelona qualify to the semi finals of the uefa champions league after the first leg that ended 2-0 because I don't think Barcelona was good enough to win this atletico madrid team 3-0 at away, and as expected, they failed on that regard because their defense was their main weakness, and the red card that they got again with just few minutes left made things even more difficult, and in the end, atletico madrid was able to hold unto their lead till the final whistle. So they are now waiting for arsenal in the semi finals, if they can complete their own job by beating sporting Lisbon at the emirate stadium today.

Yeah the champions league is more difficult than domestic league, and the reason why it is always like that is because Champions League is more bigger and more respected than the domestic league so players usually go into the champions league with a different level of spirits they perform very well and give their best to make sure that they lift the champions league. That's what you think but it's not. The referee made the wrong decision by issuing a yellow card when it was supposed to be a red car which was why VAR called him to order. It wasn't an offside because the arm of Barcelona player was in front. Gracia deserved a red card because he thwarted a goal scoring action as the last defender. Gracia needs more experience.

Barcelona does barcelona things. They would never accept their stupidity, but they put the blame on referee to be 12's player of their opponent. It's also very embarassing how Raphinha said his team get robbed. They thought that the foul happened to the Sorloth was a special give by the referee.
No doubt that they were a meme able club. Any decision that gave them disadvantage, they treat it like the world was against them.

It was a clear red card by their player to push Sorloth. If they didn't wanna get it, their player should not push him down. They have to learn how to control their emotion. They're gonna be next Chelsea.

Giving Atlético Madrid a 2 - 0 advantage is never a good idea, especially against a team that defends very well. That red card just made everything worse. What more is needed for it to be a red card? If you make that kind of challenge on the last player, you will get sent off.
If the player had been able to continue with the ball, there was a very high chance of a goal, which is why the red card was the correct decision.
In my opinion, the referee managed the match well. Barcelona players behaved undisciplined and were punished for it. They also received a red card in the first match.
So, it seems the problem was not with the refereeing, but with the players’ discipline.
