If Udinese didn't get such an early red card then I really wonder how that match would end up...    I don't feel like we would watch the same kind of a match or maybe not even a win by Fiorentina!

But in the end the official result is what matters. Fiorentina had a big opportunity to breathe. 16 matches and barely managing to secure their first win. A really tough relegation battle is waiting for them if they don't get consistent from now on.

I'm putting Napoli as my favorite. My expectation for Napoli if they will use almost the same line up like when they thrashed AC Milan in last game. So i expect Neres and Hojlund gonna be nightmare for Bologna. Things better caused by Tominay seems fit, and he will able to keep the mid.

Milan has been terrible this season... No titles, nothing! it seems like this year's inconsistency has gotten to them and it's very difficult to compete for the title, even though now they are only focused on the Scudetto.
AC Milan 2025 are the most pathetic excuses for a football club in Italy. Owned, run and supported by amateurs. I hope they sold lots of shirts with that stunt with the players names. Milan made 2 identical mistakes and also structural failures in their last match. That was the semi- finals, that was all they got to stay in the game, but they played like an amateur group. Allegri's team could play for a whole week and not find a possible angle to strike a welcoming shot, talk more of a goal.
Holjound was just all over the place and they did nothing about it. The team needs to be purged and reselected from scratch.

Honestly I was disappointed with Atalanta performance in this game, it was an early red card and everyone expected a more convincing win after that red card but Atalanta had to battle and got a very late winner in this game. This was a game they could have easily lost with the number of chances created by the home team. It was a unbelievable spirit shown by Genoa, they created 2 big chances and should have score easily but maybe at the very end having a man down shows the difference between the 2 side.

Well 3 points it what matters in the league and Atalanta was able to deliver that, even if it was as not convincing, this win have now put them in 9th position and their fight for an European competition continues, well judging by how they have played so far this season it would be very hard for them to play in Europe next season unless their is a drastic improvement in the team.

Atalanta were more than lucky to have gotten that late goal in the last minute of the extra time which was what separated both team and if they hadn't scored that goal then it would have been so embarrassing for the Atalanta side to have not been able to win a ten man Genoa side, Genoa didn't have much options than to defend due to the red card they conceded which was what Atalanta capitalised on to snatch a late winner .

A victory after all those bad defeats isn't something to celebrate, but we also know that victories bring good cheer! And let's hope that this victory will spark the Fiorentina players into action, giving them the boost they need to fight back for the positions they deserve! It was like a walk in the park for Napoli in the Italian Super Cup to tell the truth.    First 2-0 against Milan and then the same score against Bologna to lift the trophy!

I can't say Bologna were able to compete well against them. Especially in the 1st half I must add. Their job was already not easy against Conte despite his missing players.

Lukaku was once again on the bench. When will Conte start using him slowly I wonder?
