According to reports, the NSC has settled the unpaid bonuses of the Super Eagles and the players are on route to Marrakech. It’s sad that nothing has changed since the World Cup Qualifiers, the NFF are just as incompetent as they were before.

Good news!! The team has arrived safely. They were supposed to move to Marrakech yesterday but the allowance issue stopped them. I don't know if they trained yesterday and today before they departed from Fès to Marrakech. I am just trying to figure out how long they train before the game. Corruption has hit the NFF so bad that they're no longer ashamed of taking it to the International level, i just love how they keep exposing themselves for the world to see how corrupt they're, must the whole team threaten to boycott their training before NFF do the right thng? It's just so embarrassing cause similar thing has happened before now.

 Im proud of the players and entire staff for taking such bold steps to fight for their right. I heard that the NFF were forced to settle the unpaid bonuses. Someone has to give account for while such act keep repeating,  else it shows that there are lots of incompetent  people running the NFF, people who came to loot public funds instead of being patriotic.

Are you surprised about this, am not at all, because we have NFF with a question characters so I expect this to happen from time to time, it will further expose their lack of accountability and some other lapses within the NFF, they better be careful, the boys have been trying their very best in this AFCON and have so far done well and I do not think we will welcome anything that will make them feel bad, of course we know what such may lead to, NFF should better behave this time, they do not have any reason to do all those shit they keep doing,good ro know that the players protested with their actions.

This is the right opportunity for the Nigerian super Eagles to win the African Nations Cup but I am seeing it that they will blow all their chances because of a relevant things. Starting from the fight or agitation of Victor to his fellow team members to the shameless behavior of the NFF. All these are distractions.
The energy and resources that they were supposed to channel into training and commitment to winning matches, they are using it to protest and the two threaten. This is so bad. I think it was one of the reasons that the former super Eagles captain how to resign even at the height of the African Nations Cup.
It seems that there are a lot of big wings that are dominating the NFF and as the Big Bird will always call them "Aza men"

The Nigeria Football Federation will always be on the news for the bad reasons. It seems they don't know how to maintain positive energy for a long time. This isn't the first time that the national team players have boycotted trainings or threatened to not play games of they don't receive the allowances that due to them. I'm not excited about the news of settling the unpaid bonuses because of everything was done at it should, we wouldn't even have such news in the first place.
I just hope that we wouldn't be finding ourselves in this kind of situation in the nearest future.

This Afcon is going to be really crazy so non of the small teams even made it to the quarter finals. Unlike the previous one that was played in  ivory coast. The  big nations really wants to win this. So Nigeria needs to be fully focused on all the games. I know they are still some misunderstandings between some players, but they need to resolve it Asap so that our opponents won't use it as weak point. After watching that Algeria vs DRC match and confident that Nigeria has the chance to win them Algeria.

Even with the supposed fear that is supposed to come with this qualifying rounds seeing that all top teams have eventually qualified, the eagles can win if they are really putting in the the effort that is needed, see that they flawlessly won till this point should be a boost to their mind and even help them have the confidence that they can face literally any team and still win, this time they have a better chance, all they need it do come together and drop all of their differences and also win on of the big teams, the rest will now nurse some fear and doubt that may later get them to be at the mercy of the eagles if the eagles put in more effort to remain superior.

So far in this AFCON without any fear or favour I can categorically state that the only team that has the most excellent and outstanding performance is Nigeria, I know nobody saw it coming especially after a rowdy world cup qualifiers and perhaps that where the super eagles are drawing their inspiration from, they are playing with a sense of indebtedness for their country and with this it would be difficult for them to get beaten by any team including the host nation, for those other countries that were outside in the round of sixteen, I guess they weren't prepared enough and maybe that's why they couldn't withstand the pressure.

Although both teams will try to get good results to qualify for the semi-finals match, I think the Senegal team is the favorite among them. The only problem we talked about was that of our defense based on how easily penetrable it is, after scoring two to three goals in a game, the defense begins to leak, allowing our opponent to score one or two goals, and the game becomes tougher for us because we want to secure the victory.

Not qualifying for the World Cup is our biggest regret, but it's all in the past, while we had the opportunity, just like every country that qualified, we blew away our opportunity. Winning the AFCON is the only opportunity for us to prove ourselves.

I agree with you the weakest point of this super eagles still remains in the defense because the coach has not been able to find a way and make the defense better. We conceive goals easily and that is not a good one for a top team like Nigeria. Because the competition is getting tougher and we will be meeting opponents that may give us problems if we continue to play this way with our defense. We can get punished by teams that has a good attacking team like Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast etc.


The defense should be more coordinated at the knockout phase of the competition and I like the way that, the team played Mozambique in the last game because they were able hold the Mozambique attack to a stand still. That is the same approach that I expect from the super eagles defense in their next game against Algeria. But I just hope

The last time this happened super eagles could not made there way through and we are seeing this again, this is a negative sign of losing to Algeria because at this demand there has already been a weak motivation by the players against what is ahead, some countries are even using money to spike up the motivation of players aside from there match allowance so that they will not feel any disturbed but in Nigeria how many times has it been done, ordinary match allowances that was primary right to all the players could not even been paid by the NFF.

From the records, I think both teams have had head to head encounter with one another for about a total of 21 times in all their AFCON games and 9 of those games have been won by the Super Eagles players and 7 of the wins going to the Algeria team with 5 draws meaning if this records is anything to hold on to, then there are possibilities or chances of the Super Eagle winning is at a very high level and this is what every patriotic citizen wants for his team.

Bro I think you have have hit the point on about the Super Eagles' defensive struggles. The coach's inability to solidify the defense has been a concern, especially given Nigeria's conceding goals easily. With tough opponents like Morocco, Senegal, and Ivory Coast lurking, it's crucial to address this issue.Focus on structure and communication.

Slot knows why he did all he did back then but I still think Salah won't have said anything, just stay mute because at that particular moment everybody is looking for who to blame and since he has been one of the key players who haven't been saying much when things are not going well for the club they had to use him as the scapegoat.

Hope you are aware that coaches have a huge influence on the performance of the players? Recently,y both Manchester United and Chelsea sacked their coach because of how poorly they were performing. What has kept the Super Eagle from qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is the previous coach, Finidi. The moment Eric Chile became the manager, things started to change for good. Up till now, the Super Eagles have been nothing but exceptional. If you dont believe in them, there are others that still do believe in them, at least dont make them lose their faith in the team.
