To me, morroco didn't really play well in that game...saying this because if the super eagles were good enough morroco would not even be able to compete with them....chuckwu eze was selected to play the penalty kick this means that he was trusted to do that based on his experience but he decided to pass the ball to their goal keeper. I believe their manager is going to use this as wake up call for next season

Morroco was frankly playing defensive and that is what help them to make it very hard for the super eagle to score.
The match was tough and it was not easy for the both team to score themselves allowing the match to end up in a draw.
If not for the penalty, Nigeria would have won the match but all thanks to their efforts.

Morocco where the better team on that day looking at it from my personal view, the super Eagles had been a dominating side right from the beginning of this competition, psychologically you could see that Nigeria could not bring out that dominance they've enjoyed because Moroccans where more technical in their approach, they literally destroyed the psychological pattern of play the super eagle had always used in this competition, forcing them to be defensive and having lesser attacking force. Though it ended on a penalty, but in the 90 minutes of play, I give it to Morocco.

It means that Nigeria is settling for something low instead of something big. Is it a big crime for these set of players in the Super Eagles to win AFCON for once. We did better in the previous one so why would third place be our target. I will not watch the match because it's not something to be proud of.

Honestly we are not all proud of this because our mind was on the position for the trophy, our coach should have skipped Chukweze from the penalty players because he was unserious on the penalty, no point in target, not strength on the ball, Nigerians was very happy of the penalty miss by Igamane because it will give eagles the rare chance but just right after Igamane the next super eagle that went next was the unserious player of the season and he restored hope to the Moroccan instead for having equal lost. The third place is not also certain for super eagles because our Captain might not play as well as bassey plus how uncommon the players will take it.

Honestly the Super Eagles performance was great right from the beginning of this AFCON, which put fear in the Moroccans. That's why they sold just a few tickets to Nigerian fans because they knew it wouldn't be an easy game for them. This is the first AFCON Nigeria lost, and there are fewer complaints from Nigerians to the players. Even Chukwueze who they criticized it was the way he played it, which if scored would've given his team more encouragement, but he played it with  lack of seriousness.

I don't think super Eagle of Nigerian will beat Egypt in this game, because they have beaten super Eagle many times and they will still beat them to take this third position. I have watched Egypt games many times and they have potential defenders that know how to lead game to penalty shootout, which they can use that tactic to beat super Eagle of Nigeria when it get to penalty shootout today because they are not good in that aspect if the first half and second half end up without goal from the two club.

I guess Egypt will beat super Eagle of Nigeria 0:1 to embrace the third position, because they have good players that know how to play super Eagle to achieve victory and they will surely employ those strategies to beat super Eagle as usual.

Nigerian, versus Morocco, game has come and gone, it doesn't matter if the super eagles were the better side or not the fact remains that we lost the game, I think our focus should be on our third place match with Egypt. I hope that the super eagles wins the third place match and atleast have something to show for their gallant performance in this AFCON. I'm betting on the super eagles to win and I'm quite positive about it so I have a double reason to hope that they defeat Egypt, to give us compensation over their lose to Morocco. The four semi final teams are arguably the better teams in this year's AFCON and I'm glad that Nigeria's super eagles is among them.

The penalty is what I was not proud of but I'm okay with how they pull the match, everybody can play a penalty with you and miss but there is how you will keep yourself and play it, they will leave others and throw attention on how your penalty is. The third position of the AFCON has began and this is 23 minutes the game has been, bassey have actually miss the match and for our captain Simon is the one for the match, this third place is not enough but is important we go with something from AFCON, super eagles can leave the back to the front so they should take Egypt as Mozambique.

Many people in Nigeria will not watch this game because of anger. As for me, I don't even know who is playing and why is happening today match. At first, I didn't even know the time of the match and it was when the TV station shows the game that I knew it was 5:00pm.
Whether Nigeria or Egypt wins, non of my business. I will watch the final tomorrow and I will be supporting Senegal in that game.

After Nwabali saved Morocco penalty and gave the Super Eagles a chance to beat Morocco's in the penalty shootout, the Super Eagles' fans were expecting Chukwueze to score his penalty so that he would put the Super Eagles ahead in the penalty shootout, but Chukwueze messed up and played a penalty that even a 10 years old girl could stop. The Super Eagles' fans have the right to say ill words against Chukwueze because Chukwueze let everyone down, but I am not in support of the people that said Igbo are the problem we have in Nigeria.

This is very wrong and astonishing. No the Nigerian fans don’t have any right to say ill words against Chukwueze, and no football fan have the right to say ill words against players that miss penalties.
Nigerian fans said so many ill words and Chukwueze is a human being and those words can affect him mentally, the fans said it but they don’t have any right to say it, stop supporting bullying.
In future Nigerian players will reject playing for the country because of this behavior from fans.
And if you support that fans have the right to tell Chukwueze ill words then you should not choose the ill words that they should tell him. Condemn the ill words and don’t pick which word is one that you don’t like.

I am not supporting any bullying. It's normal that a player will surely be abused by fans when the player makes his team not win a major trophy. Even England fans abused and said ill words to Jordan Sancho when he missed the penalty that knocked England out of the Euros tournament. Any Nigerian player that can't handle abuse from fans shouldn't bother playing football because the player must surely be abused either in the national team or club side.

It is very obvious they are nit satisfy with the third place but that doesn't mean they should lose this game, important players are absent in the first half of this game like osimhen,Ademola and Iwobi and with the way I am seeing this game, the super eagles should better not lose this game, even if it's third place, they've tried their best and we appreciate that,  we go again next time

In the first half of the game, the two teams are playing, although they are not succeeding in attacking much, but the team that attacks strongly will win. Although according to the performance of the game at the moment, Egypt has a higher chance of winning, the team that is able to score first will be ahead to win. However, if the Nigeria team can play strongly, they will not let the Egypt team win, this match is really going to be very exciting. At the end of first half, despite having good dominance from Egyptian team, Super Eagles are doing good job and have good control of ball and match Adams goal disallowed still their offense is much better, mostly both teams are playing with defensive strategy maybe their strategy is to avoid injuries.

After watching first half match, now I am expecting this match can go into extra time as well because things are looking not favourable for having goals. Super Eagles are playing without their stars, it's surely not working because they need to be having some good strategy with strong attack but now it's looking they are not serious about this match result.

I am watching the African Cup of Nations third place game between Egypt and Nigeria. I won't watch the second half of the match because the Super Eagles are playing without some of their key players, and because of that, the match isn't interesting to watch. Egypt is dominating the Super Eagles in terms of ball possession, while the Super Eagles have more chances than Egypt, and the Super Eagles scored a goal, but it was disallowed because of a foul committed by Onuachu.
