The super eagles is being praised for what I don't really know. They promised us the AFCON medal and it is unfortunately that we could no see them winning but coming up with a third position. I don't know why everytime there is always a problem with the super eagles not meeting up with undesirable positions with plenty of excuses each year.

It is obvious that you don't see anything good from the super eagles, I really do understand why you say this things, actually they told us that they will come back home with the AFCON trophy which they did not but we can not say they did not try their possible best, one thing am very much concerned about is this their near to success syndrome shit, just imagine that type of penalty shoot by their players that made not to go to the AFCON finals, it is unfortunate, the world cup qualifiers was a very big disaster for them and  I do not want to talk about it.

I’ll say the Super Eagles have finally found their feet again after many years. At last, they now have a solid team and a coach that understands the players and knows how to set them up. You can see the togetherness, the discipline, and the belief in the way they play. It feels like the team is now moving in the right direction.
I really wish they had qualified for the World Cup though. It pretty hurts because with the level of performance they exhibited at the afcon, I know they would not have disappointed Nigerians. They played with determination and I believe they could have gone far if they were on that World Cup stage. I just hope this team stays together and keeps improving for the future.

I'd like to also think the Super eagles has found their feet again. The players are playing more in sync with increased understanding amongst them. The team is certainly moving in the right direction and with some more investments into training, they're on track to again, regain the top standing in African football.
I too really hoped that Nigeria would have qualified for the world cup. It does hurt cause, seeing the level of performance displayed playing in the AFCON tournament, perhaps the super eagles would have put on a good show, making an impact in the world cup. Hopefully, the team remains steadfast and ready for the next tournament.

I must say am impressed with how the Nigerian Eagles are played against the Egyptians, it shows they aren't deterred with the outcome of their previous game with the host Morocco. The team have shown great prospects and have given Nigerians a reason to hope for a better future.

I believe there is still hope for Nigeria that they would make it to the next World Cup based on their performance in this ongoing AFCON but I hope that CAF would try and improve on the refereeing and match officials so as not to make some nations to have a wrong perception about African football.

The team is packed full with talents I predicted they were gonna win the Egyptians even with their second eleven but unfortunately it ended in a draw and was decided in penalties. So finally the Super Eagles had a victory from penalty and it’s unfortunate and sad that Mo Salah and Omar Marmoush who should have lifted the spirits of their country men were the ones who failed to score their penalty kicks. Another Trophyless AFCON for Mo Salah almost at the end of his career, I’m not sure he’ll play another AFCON.

The Egyptian team ain't a small side that you should assume that even with the second eleven team of the Super Eagles could seal victory against them. It doesn't sound respectful to the pharaohs because it's ain't an easy stride to have reached the semi finals of the AFCON battling for a third place which they were unfortunate not to have clinge it. The Salah and Marmoush missing their penalty kicks we're unexpected but not shocking for me because anyone can miss a penalty kick at any time. They just weren't lucky for the day's game.

What's that about the Super Eagles being referred to Arsenal. The Super Eagles didn't even finish 2nd place in the AFCON

Morocco in this tournament will give all they have just to have a taste of what being a champion feels like, they will be extra motivated just because they are the host nations and the stadium is filled with the country men cheering their team for the victory. This record is really surprising to know that Morocco, with their big names and respect, have not won AFCON before. Even Zambia is on the least and if not of the dominance of Egypt, West Africa have remained the epicentre of African football. I hope Morocco will be able to use tonight to put their name on the list if African champions, they deserve to be there. Although, Senegal is making more effort and showing greater determination to winning the title.

I wanted Senegal to win this AFCON just because of the efforts of Sadio Mane in making sure that his country reach the finals but Morocco is the host nation and they have more of the crowd to cheer them up so they will be the more confident team than Senegal so i share same sentiment with you that Morocco will win the AFCON. Morocco won the toughest team of the tournament which is Nigeria so they have more tactics to outsmart their opponent. When the AFCON matches started, Nigeria was tipped by many as the possible winner of the AFCON but Morocco stopped them in the semis. For Morocco to defeat Nigeria despite that the result was determined by penalties but they are likely going to replicate same performance against the Senegal team.

 I feel that Senegal should have been ahead by at least two goals by halftime because they were really applying the pressure and they had a clear chance from Ndiaye who was one-on-one with the keeper and instead of just lining the ball like he did because Bono had already fallen to the ground, he should have lifted it. I just hope the missed chances don't come back to hunt them because Morocco could bounce back in the second half. Senegal needs to do more better if they want to win it from the hosts and I won't be surprised if it won't be be an easy game cause it has been over 35 years since they the Moroccans last won it.

Morocco started the game with much carefulness. Not until the 35th minute when they had a clear chance to score. Now they are all out, with the believe they can win without going into extra time or penalties.

However, Senegal is in a lot better chance to win. They have more chances in this game than the Moroccans. I want them to win, because they are the better side. Also I want Mane to be the AFCON player of the tournament.

Just ones has Senegalese won this AFCON, they're actually going to the finals but not good in wining the AFCON trophy, this might also be another final they have come to lose. The country who has won more than any other is a small country on this season, why is Morocco not as country that has won AFCON?, they have won it before, either ones so actually after winning it they would have it the second time. Senegal and Morocco had no goal on the first half and Morocco is dominating with no difference from there dominance against super eagles but Senegal is fighting deeply.

It’s being an interesting game so far, both teams have played being very careful of the next with a deep understanding that, all it could take to win the trophy is just a single goal and these kind of games isn’t one that is accompanied by a lot of goals.

There have being some good chances created. The Senegalese missed a good one on one chance to take the lead in the first half while, Moroccans are playing a little better in this second half, creating chances and El Kaabi have missed dime really good chances to get his team in front. Hope that doesn’t come back to hunt them though.

The Super Eagles did their best, but it was still not enough. If you look at that game closely, you will see that they had already forfeited it to Morocco because their performance was not convincing. I don’t even want to talk much about that, because the Super Eagles were supposed to win that game before it got to the penalty shootout, but they failed. So, let’s just face reality and stop blaming them. At least they won third place, even though we know that last season they won second place.

The super eagles performance wasn’t bad in the AFCON, we all expected them to win the AFCON for us but unfortunately they couldn’t, they were defeated by Morocco in a penalty shootout in the semi final of the tournament, and we know that penalty is just luck, and super eagles were not lucky in the match. We not going to compare how super eagles played in the World Cup qualifiers with the way they played in this current AFCON. The kind of performance that the super eagles put up in this AFCON, if they had put up similar performance in World Cup qualifiers, then super eagles will have been able to qualify for the World Cup.

It's a game and it should be that the best should win but the way the officials are officiating this game they don't want Senegal to win and whole thing is just obvious, and even if they are the host nation it does not automatically make them the winner they have to play well in other to win but this they are looking for ways to just claim the title at all cost. And Nigeria was removed and since then everyone was not really paying attention to the league again, and the players had to work out , but they have resumed and now let's see if anything will. Change and fifa needs to do something about things like because it is not even correct at all because from what we are seen corruption have gotten to football also, and the same time, I pray Senegal wins the game.

Very interesting things are happening in the Africa Cup of Nations final. Senegal scored a goal, but the referee disallowed it for a foul. I don't think there was a foul in that situation, but the referee said there was.

Then Morocco was awarded a penalty. While some Senegalese players went to the dressing room in protest, Mane and some other players remained on the pitch. The game was stopped for about 10 minutes. The Senegalese players have now returned to the pitch. Let's see what kind of punishment Senegal will receive. I've never seen anything like this in a top-level match before. Mendy saved the penalty and the score is still 0-0.
This match will be remembered for a long time.

Oh my God… this is the worse AFCON SO FAR. Morocco who we thought came to play football are here for a must win and I think all the Refs have been compromised. They started it with Nigeria and now with Senegal
I mean this is a big DISGRACE on the face of Africa, CAF and FIFA.
They really should look into this drama happening at the Finals and how they’ve been. It’s not a do or die Affair to win the AFCON.
