The news that he might move to Moroccan top-flight side Raja Club Athletic is still resurfacing on several sports platforms. I wonder how he would deal with Moroccan fans after their disgraceful behaviour in the Afcon.
The Moroccan fans will not be as bad as they were in the AFCON, I think they were just caught up in the moment in the competition and acted out of character. I see Moroccans as hospitable people, and that image that they showed the world in the AFCON final was a lie. It is very likely Nwabali will enjoy his time in Morocco with his new club if that is where he finally moves to.

I for like for him to move to a bigger and better league, but for some reasons he is not getting that attention, maybe it is because there are little transfer opportunities for Goalkeepers, or his mistakes which he can be prone to making at times.

His decision to leave the club might be because he doesn't want to be a substitute goalkeeper. Since he came back from the African Cup of Nations, Dumisani Msibi has been the club's favourite. Stanley Nwabali is too good to be on the bench of a South African club.
If this is actually the case, then I support his decision wholeheartedly. In my estimation that is the right call. His experience will die on the bench if he had not done anything.

This is going to be a tough one for him but we will see how it would turn out - that is, his final decision.

A massive blow to have one of the finest sides from Africa absent. We have to make sure we get back to the next African Cup of Nations regardless next year and the same time win it. It's fvck you to the Nigerian football federation, we've sang this shit a billion times more than a song but nothing has been done. I don't know the plans they have, but it is mandatory we qualify. Finally, Super Eagles defensive midfielder Frank Onyeka has been reportedly announced with a move from Brentford to Coventry in the championship,  do you consider this a downgrade for a top quality player like him?! I think he needed that back to back game time,  so the move has got to be great.

The boys must have learnt their lesson. The World Cup is a 4-year interval competition, missing two world cup compeition in a row is a disaster. No player will want their career to end without a World Cup stat to show forth.

Victor Osimehn, Ademola Lookman,, and all the Super Eagle players need to put into consideration that the upcoming World Cup competition which will be in 5 years time, might be their last. That reason they must qualify.

So this was why he personally left the club, I was thinking it was another thing that caused why he left, like how the team was one of the weakest on the league. For this reason, is it really okay for a goalkeeper to leave because of that?, if the club intend to play him on the halftime of every match he should have stayed because that's the competition of football, I no that if he had not left he would have obtained his position back on the team because he would have proven well than the goalkeeper the club had preferred. He will coup very well with Moroccans because they would be happy to have the goalkeeper of super eagles.

The quit choice has always been a controversial topic concerning our allegiance and forbearance towards such tough competition within us. You believe that it is much more honourable to prove yourself in the field than to use the way out to ensure more playing time. We must have the confidence that an individual quality will shine through the first choice and we must remain there based on the common glory.

It's actually very painful that this current squad of the Super Eagles despite how talented and formidable they've been as a team have never played in the FIFA World Cup and will now have to wait till 2030 to stand a chance of playing in the most prestigious football competition. The uncomfortable reality is that most of the current squad members won't be fit enough to be selected should Nigeria qualify for the next edition and that's because their current age range. Hopefully, they'll be able to win the next edition of the CAF African Cup Of Nations so their names will be written on the history book of African football.

This particular lesson is long overdue for Nigerians to have understood at least after missing out on the last edition, we failed to invest in sports and this is the result of our ignorance and nonchalant attitude towards a sport that millions of Nigerians used as sedative against the economic crisis that they suffer in their various countries, town and villages. Nigeria's inability to qualify for this year's world cup is a very big blow for Africa, as Nigeria seem to have what it takes to advance farther in the tournament.
I know that better days are ahead but it is too uninteresting to see that Nigeria football team is not performing very well.
The government would be held responsible for this because of the players are fed well, I don't think they would want to play in an interesting manner. These players need good salaries and motivation to give a better result.

We can’t shy away from this reality, the super eagle players have been offended by the government so many times or better said, they have been disrespected by the government with poor salary and poor welfarism. I understand many of us will want to talk about the player’s loyalty to the country, but even if you are patriotic yet you know the system is not transparency and so many funds still go down the drain to these players but the players are not seeing such from their own pockets. How do you expect someone to be serious with the matches to the point taking the trophy back when Nigerian government is not helping matters either.

snip
I made an effort to search for what you just said, I got this link which i don't find convincing.

From the above link, said by a spiritual leader to sack Eric Chelle, the same people claiming spirituality who pushed the agenda of dropping Lookman from the starting squad, I believe these are all rumors or pushed by the media to cause traffic, I'm certain NFF are still retaining Chelle.
I also came across such news days ago, and I was wondering the extent to which all these news vendors could go to dish out fake news to the public just to gain traffic to their website with lies and deceit. I do not believe most of the news I get from them except I see it is already out from the official page of any organisation in question and the newsline reports it to the wider audience, but for news that is not verified or verifiable, I do not really give in to it as the majority of them sell lies to the public to gain traffic.
See this news vendors, bloggers and the likes of them have come to understand that rumours spread more than the truth or reality, so this is what they sell they’re just after their own personal pockets and have no care about the consequences.
The NFF is a mess on itself so people will believe any negative stories coming from them cos that’s the kind of reputation they’ve created.
I suggest maybe before we share any information we see, we get to verify how true it is.

I was the one that said that Nwabali parted ways with his club a few days ago. Nwabali didn't terminate his contract with Chippa United because he had a club in mind to join. Nwabali left Chippa United on mutual consent. Yes, Nwabali has so many offers on the table, such as clubs from Morocco, Libya, Tanzania, and Turkey, but his agent is yet to figure out which offer to accept for Nwabali at the moment.
His decision to leave the club might be because he doesn't want to be a substitute goalkeeper. Since he came back from the African Cup of Nations, Dumisani Msibi has been the club's favourite. Stanley Nwabali is too good to be on the bench of a South African club.

The news that he might move to Moroccan top-flight side Raja Club Athletic is still resurfacing on several sports platforms. I wonder how he would deal with Moroccan fans after their disgraceful behaviour in the Afcon.
If it's true that Nwabali left Chippa United because he's not sure of first team football, he took the best decision by terminating his contract with Chippa United in mutual consent so that he can go to a club where he will be a regular starter. If Nwabali gets to sign for Raja Club Athletic, I believe Nwabali will be loved by Raja Club Athletic fans, because it Senegal that Morocco has beef with.

Five years is a long time. Honestly, in my opinion, Nigeria had a great and young squad in those last two World Cups where they failed. I highly doubt that this trend will continue in five years because Ademola will be 33 years old, meaning he won't perform at the same level and won't be on a good team. Another player is Osimhen, who will be 32 years old and probably won't perform as well and will be on a less successful team. So I don't see the next five years as years to be optimistic. Nigeria wasted two good opportunities.

Honestly speaking it what a big shame having to see our government who only no about their personal interests and having not to care athletes, most time I feel very ashamed of the so called country having to see this kind of wrong thing going on…i feel the very day the Nigeria government start to see their athletes that they are doing well and only that a enough reason to support the his guys, honestly speaking am even really shout of words to right now because it piss me off having to hear such thing right now .

I do not think it is all about the government; the NFF as a body is to take responsibility for anything that goes wrong in the course of engagements and activities. If they claim the government does not respond in time, when did they start the process of preinforming the government of their needs, and do they put up with the government with all form seriousness, orare  they just relaxed because they know the government would release funds. Yes the government would release funds but how long will it take becasue there must be some processes and procedures involved which likely causes delay. So they best way to get funds in time is to inform the government early enough and do a follow up or reminder to make sure they get all they need fpr tournaments etc.

The worst thing is when some good talent is nipped in the bud just because of this broken system. I think if the government provides all the facilities including salaries properly then the players will definitely keep their promises. But the Nigerian players are failing because the government is corrupt and the football federation is not working responsibly that means the whole system is broken and nothing can be done properly in this broken system. If any one party had worked properly then I think our Eagles could have given quality performance in every World Cup.

The Players did not, and neither are they failing, but the system failed them, and they are just trying to put up with the effect as a result of the corrupt practices and negligence in the football body in our country.  The players tried really hard to even win the third position, which concluded AFCON, which we initially thought they would not go any where afetr their world cup qualifiers performannce. The NFF forgets that all this rubbish they exhibit affects the morale of the players, and they can not be able to put up their best performance because of the way they are treated.

We should know that since social media was monetized, people are ready to report false news just to gain engagement so that they could be able to earn money with their page. If I see any football news, i will first of all check the official page of the team the news is all about, and if i do not see such news on the official team page, i will see the news as fake news that people just want to use to gain engagement on their page. People should always verify news before speading the news so that they will not spread false news that will deceive people.

I know that better days are ahead but it is too uninteresting to see that Nigeria football team is not performing very well.
The government would be held responsible for this because of the players are fed well, I don't think they would want to play in an interesting manner. These players need good salaries and motivation to give a better result.

Super Eagles players feeling disrespected and undervalued by the government. Poor salaries and welfare can definitely impact motivation and performance.

Feeling undervalued and disrespected by the government,Lack of transparency and mismanaged funds exacerbate the problem.
Hard to stay motivated when players feel their efforts aren't recognized or rewarded.

If he feels disrespected by his former club then it is not bad for him to leave and move to a club which actually respects him but he should be wary of his next move because we have seen multiple cases where the club a player moves usually actually to where it is worse in terms of minutes to be played. As For Nwabali I think I an very well skeptical about this move to Morocco because regardless of whether the beef was with the Senegalese I can still remember Nwabali actually taunting them personally with a post about them keeping the towel to rub off their tears after the nation lost to Senegal and with all honesty I doubt he will be forgiven easily because that was one expensive banter and it’s the reason why they are actually banters that footballers do not need to participate in.

At this point there is no point in wasting time in a club that will not put his skills on the line and the number 1 goal keeper for the club, he is aging and time is not on his side to waste, the best decision that he took in a long time, he have waited too long already.

Some of our players are even the problem sometimes, and for sure the government is at the center of everything, but then no matter the amount of financial support from the government side, if the players can not unitedly sacrifice individual ambition for the success for the team we will see positive results eventually.
