The thing about football is that they move on pretty quickly once as a player you are injured, you’re no longer performing. The club will move on, the fans who used to adore you will move on, the glitz and glamour around you will fade and you will no longer the center of attention anymore.
We have seen it happen to so many players with the one that comes to mind, victor Boniface.

Victor Boniface was not too much of an exceptional player if I may say, for me as somebody who has been a football player at a lower street level and a football fanatic, I wouldn't categorize Victor Boniface at the top echelon of football unlike Victor Osimhen. Boniface is good to an extent there is no doubt about that, he has days he stands out completely, but one thing that has been a major problem in his career has been his kneel injury which has kept him off and On the pitch for a very long time, at a point he was even complaining that he wanted to resign playing football because of the pain he was going through. And we all know that there are pivotal areas a footballer shouldn't get injury, number one is your Kneels and two your Angles, these are two critical areas in footballer shouldn't get injury because there is always a likelihood that bones injuries might likely recall or you might not permanently get heal especially when you are aging.

The girls were so superior than the English women in the game they took the lead very early and they tried so well to defend well to ensure they do not concede in the game. The players are so good the goal keeper captured my attention when she stopped a goal by saving a penalty that alone and many more showed that they came prepared for the competition and the message they sent to the English ladies before the game came to pass. 3:0 is a very good defeat to as good as England, from the players we are seeing in this competition there are good replacements for the Super Falcons whom some of the ladies will be retiring soon

The falconets made the entire Africa Proud with that performance. They successfully kept their promise with a clean sheet. The 17 years old keeper stole the show, making 6 crucial saves including saving a penalty. With this performance, they will easily go through the Columbian clash and proceed to the semi final. This Falconets team is just interesting, they've also beaten New Celadonia 10:1 in the last group stage game and now they're going to meet Columbia. I see them at the semi final already because they're all talented and hungry for goal.
After having a disappointing WAFCON outing, this is a good way of smiling again for the giants of Africa. I will have to start following up this tournament and also know if I can watch their next game even though I've been following their performance remotely online.

Victor Osimhen is injured and there have not been any date and time set for his coming back. He's just getting to strive inother to bounce back but it seems nothing should be done in a haste. Victor Osimhen needs all the possible rest he can get now because playing the attacking line is not easy with his sturdy appearance and epic performance, Osimhen needs to get well enough in other to return back on the pitch.

Victor Boniface didn’t stay in his prime for a very long time, he didn’t even get the best of attention in the Nigeria team. He did well at Bayern Leverkusen but he is now an already forgotten player due to injury. He might just be playing casual football until he retires. He doesn’t look like who will get himself back again after the long injury. At least, he has contributed his part to the success of the teams he has played for. Right now, the fans and the club will be like onto another chapter.

Boniface wanted to be the main striker when Osimhen is the best striker we have. Two kings cannot rule one jungle. I think Boniface decided to leave international football because he cannot gain the attention needed to be the main man for the team. I respect Boniface as a good footballer but he is becoming an average player. He is becoming too soft with his football career. He don't play for a better club at the moment, and he is not playing in a big league. His career has shattered. Boniface should transition into becoming a content creator.

Yeah, no doubt about this, it's always the women team that has kept us afloat, the men team is most disappointing. At least we can take solace with our female team, with this the heart break wouldn't be that much compared to when we don't have any. Over the years, they have been our bragging point when it comes to national team football. Theres more hope in them than our men's team.

A good number of them will make it to the Super Falcons to strengthen the women national team, we know the falcons for their football excellence, but losing out to Cameroon in the Wafcon wasn't encouraging, having some players from the U20 women promote into the falcons will boost the big team's charisma. Also have you noticed that the main team always appear vulnerable and the u20 and u17 very strong when it comes to football in Nigeria, the Golden eaglets for instance perform much better than the super eagles in most world competitions. I'm curious about why these players do not make it, in due time, to the super eagles after playing the U17.

There is always a confidence in being courageous to face any strong opposition you are coming across with, I like the fact that the falconets did not give up despite their confrontation against the England team, sometimes you just only need to build more on our confidence and face the challenges ahead of us, because that is the only motivation we needed to overcome those obstacles if you don't want to be defeated by being intimidated.

I have been hearing about retirement on Victor Boniface from most Nigerians, actually Victor Boniface have not retired from our national team, he is currently one of them but however a lot has been happening on the player and apart from injury he hasn't been playing like the former Victor Boniface, so definitely is their coach that most have kept him out of their main squad now since his performance is low to assist the team, but however if Victor Boniface should get his performance stable, he will be reunited with his national teammate. So actually people should understand the difference between unstable form and being retired.

Victor Osimehn needs to recover fast from this injury, this was what happened the last time in the World Cup and Afcon qualifiers and before they could knew what was happening it was almost late for Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup after dropping points during the early stages of the qualifiers. I think right now, the Victor Osimehn effect in Galaterssary is also here in the super eagles team. We can see how Galatasaray have been struggling to win matches ever since Osimehn gets injured and there’s every likelihood it will happen to the super Eagles and before they could realize themselves it’s already late and it is capable of causing them to miss out in the next Afcon the same way they missed out in the last World Cup. After that heavy disappointment by the super eagles failure to qualify for the World Cup, they need to get back to winning ways immediately and they don’t have any reason to struggle to qualify from this group but With the way things are still going regarding this absence of Victor Osimehn they might be regretting later.

The coach made it clear that he wants to invite players who are playing in the top tier leagues and not second divisions, so I’m not surprised if the coach did not invite Kelechi Iheanacho to the super eagles because he’s playing in the second tier Turkish league even though he’s scoring lots of goals there currently, that’s not the standard for a player leading an attack of the super eagles. There are so many good players in that position currently in the super eagles who are playing in top tier division and it will be better to invite those players. The competition is very high now in the super eagles, you can’t be playing at a lower division and still expect to lead the attack of the super eagles.

The Nigerian side had control of the game in the first half and part of the second half until Kafayat Mafisere got a red card in the 76th minute. The Colombians took advantage of that deficit to keep mounting pressure on the Falconets' defence. The game seemed like it would be decided in extra time until Valerin Laboa scored the only goal in the 92nd minute.

This is almost similar to what happened at the time that the super eagles started their world cup qualifications. the likes of victor osimehn and some key players were missing at the early stage of the qualification and by the time the time they returned back, the damages had already been done. The super eagles have to learn how to survive without him because this is extremely necessary. if the other front guys cant take advantage of his absence to show that they are equally capable of scoring goals and helping the nation qualify for the African cup of nations.

If when a key player goes on injury the team loose out on qualification games that are ideally less demanding, then it means that we don't have a tea, to even start with.

I dey dumbfounded like this because the pressure the Super Falconets gave to the Colombia FC yesterday was very high yet the Super Falconets loss that game. They were not having the luck to win but they played. I was having the full assurance for the girls to win the match but what an irony. It was painful. All is well. The worst part was the goal was scored at the the last minute of the game which was 90+2 and the extra minutes was 4. So before the ball return back to the Colombia FC area, ball has finished. I was so happy and proud when our U20 women defeated England 3-0 in the round of 16 at the U20 women's world cup and I was hoping they were going to use the same spirit to win Columbia in the quarter final and qualify for the semi final but they couldn't defeat Columbia, but I'd say they tried their best because it's not easy to play with a 10 women and not concede defeat.
