My previous exchange order actually went through; I checked later, and the coins were returned to my original address. I sent them from a casino wallet, so maybe that caused the issues. In any case, I made another exchange, this time sending from my personal wallet. The difference between the standard and fast modes is striking. I sent the equivalent of 100 dollars in Bitcoin. In standard mode, I was supposed to receive 96 USDT, and in fast mode — 88 USDT. I actually wanted to do it through standard mode, but I made a mistake and left the choice on fast, so the fee turned out to be way too high. And overall, I haven't changed my initial opinion: the fees are too high. Perhaps with large amounts it isn't felt as much, but I was exchanging a small amount, and for me, that's a significant chunk bitten off. Also, the stated time for the fast mode — 5–15 minutes — does not match reality. In the end, I waited longer than 20 minutes.
Likewise, I haven't changed my opinion regarding the small number of both coins, networks, and swap combinations. For USDT, the most expensive networks are presented, whereas it is much more cost-effective to receive it on Solana or Polygon. Why this isn't available is a big question. I think the platform would only benefit if cheaper and faster exchange methods were offered; that would attract more users.
Yes, the swap went through, and I received my exchanged coins. Yes, there is no KYC, everything is anonymous. But there are side effects that, in my opinion, are not justified and not outweighed solely by the absence of KYC. Other exchange platforms also offer anonymity and no logs, but at the same time, the exchange happens definitely cheaper, and sometimes even faster. Also, the minimum threshold for an exchange should be lower, in my opinion. If only just to have the opportunity to test the platform rather than immediately risking your coins without knowing for sure what you will ultimately receive (or won't receive). For those who already trust the service, that's fine, but for new users, it is a downside.
