The void of Messi will definitely affect Argentina and finding a replacement for Messi will definitely be a very difficult task for Argentina. But if we continue to see such a good relationship and mutual understanding between the team as it is now, then the void of Messi will definitely not be felt by the Argentina team very much. Because Cristiano Ronaldo is a very good player, but we have seen a good relationship between their team which has created a lot of influence on the field. That is why we can hope that if they can maintain this relationship between them, then we will definitely see something good.
The only thing I can say is that Argentina is going to miss Messi but, that doesn’t mean it can affect them totally since they’ve so many players in the team, they will be a player in the team but is not showing case. When the season come that Messi will be unavailable some of the players that are so talented will begin display themselves, which their performances is up to standard like Messi. But for now they will not see those players as the lover Messi has cover everything, and that’s why most of saying that without Messi Argentina would find their matches difficult which I don’t think such things to happen for the team. Not only Argentina will miss Messi, the entire world of football will miss Messi in the national team. He's gradually quitting the game and soon he will be all gone. Generations come and go and this is an end of an era. Messi is a great talent, but his absence now will discover the real talent in the likes of Alvarez to express their full potential. Messi was a very important part of the team but then, Argentina will find their way around it during the 2030 world cup. It takes extreme discipline to decide to leave the team at this period because he still has the talent and still plays great, perhaps not like before. Argentina is always blessed with great talents and it won't be long before someone of a very good talent springs up in the team.

I believe that Brazil, especially the Brazilian national team, must rediscover its own characteristics and identity in the way of playing, because they had a different way of playing which made them extremely unpredictable and with a beautiful game to watch, which made Brazil one of the national teams always favored to win the World Cup. And with a way of playing all their own and above all a fun way of playing, something that has changed completely over time and which they should find again.
Brazil’s style was never simple football, just plain runs and striking wasnt their way of approaching this sport. They played beautiful football and had their own style, they liked possession and would make the ball their territory, they would be so comfortable they would do extra skills, they had magic in their feet but now it has failed miserably in trying to modernise their play. And in the search for improvement they have lost their own style.

Brazil has lost its rhythm and when we talk about Brazil, we think of old faces. So I agree with your statement, they should strengthen the scouting network of grassroots football across the country, provide good coaching and do their best to enhance the individual skills and creativity of young players and develop young talent without wasting it. And my opinion about Ancelotti is that he is an experienced coach but he should be considered after reviewing their past history when Brazil became five-time world champions.
Yes, Ancelotti is a great coach, but when it comes to legends, I didn't like how he treated Neymar at the World Cup. He didn't give him any playing time, he didn't play him, and look, Neymar is also an iconic player. I would have started him from the beginning until he told me he couldn't go on anymore or until I saw that his performance wasn't up to par. But I'm keeping him because we won't see him with Brazil anymore, and that's a shame. It's a disservice that old coaches do, just like they did with Cristiano in Portugal. Don't blame Ancelotti for this. In fact, Neymar himself couldn't play at the beginning of the World Cup due to an injury before the tournament. He suffered a grade-2 muscle injury when he went to play for Santos. Just a day after this incident, Brazil's World Cup squad was announced. And this was the main reason why he couldn't play against Morocco and Haiti. However, we got to see him on the field against Scotland. He played the last 20 minutes for Brazil after almost three years. Then we saw how he scored a goal against Norway. So I won't blame Ancelotti here for not playing him.

Brazil with star players but are not able to play as a unit, individual players all round but come to think of it, the Brazil of the early 2000's has even more stars in the team but they played better even when these star players played for different European clubs, they were still able to come together and show their master class performance. Growing up back then for our generation, i fell in love with that team, the kind of love I have for Brazil in football was born in those days from these players. If this was how they played, I'm not sure people like me would, look at how inconsistent the team is. Even the Brazilian team before the 2014 WC host was even better than the Brazil I'm seeing now.

I don't think there's anyone that didn't love watching Brazil those days because they were just symbol of beautiful football. Even in PlayStation, Brazil team used to be a very fast team. I remember my younger brother used to choose the Brazil team whenever he wants to play PlayStation football games. It's really sad that Brazil is gradually losing visibility due to their underperformance even when they still have skillful players in the squad. I don't know if they are not able to get a coach that understands their style of play or the players are the problem. Wish we can see those fantastic memories of Brazil once again but sadly, they don't even play like a team that is organised.

You're right, then you will be shaking once it involves playing against Brazil, because even until today Brazil holds the highest number of World Cup trophies won 🏆 because of how formidable their team was. They were unmatchable and crushed any team they came across, but today's Brazilian team is a testimony that nothing lasts or reigns forever; maybe there will be a time in the future where their future generation will fight to regain their lost glory.

When i saw the news of Messi’s retirement from his national team i felt like tearing, the entire footballing community would miss him, Messi gave football another lift in this generation with his incredible performance, he played football effortlessly, breaking countless records, regardless of his skills and achievements he remained humble which is highly admirable. I know that Argentina are often lucky to get good players but you see Messi it will be difficult to find someone that will fit into his shoes, Messi is completely irreplaceable, that little boy from Rosario Argentina as he is often referred to has left a mark in the world of football that countless generations won’t be able to erase. It is hard to believe that the greatest of all time won’t be present in the next World Cup, i wish i can rewind back the hands of time.

This World Cup will be the first in over 20 years without both Messi and Ronaldo. I clearly remember 1998 and 2002 World Cup's. There were big star players back then too but nothing like this. The world will really miss Messi. Some people will only realize his worth after he's gone. Meanwhile with them out of the picture, the path is wide open for France and Mbappe. We might see another France - Spain final. Frankly aside from these two teams there aren't many contenders right now, but considering the tournament is still 4 years away, maybe new stars will shine by then. I don't think Argentina can reach these heights without Messi. They'll be one of the host nations, but it's unclear how the team will play in the post-Messi era. I think they've lost at least half their strength right now. Some people have high hopes for Nico Paz. I don't think he (or anyone else) will be the next Messi. His place is irreplaceable.

Messi is not a bigger player than Diego Maradona for Argentina and many people will agree to this in the country and Argentina will always have players that are footballing genius because they are a footballing nation that produce talent evey time. Argentina had won more trophies without Messi than with Messi hence they will always get players that will win them many trophies. Messi was an exceptional player and a magician but do not say Argentina can not replace him because that is an insult to Argentina. Even Barcelona has a new Messi and he is playing and doing better than Messi ever did at his age and have won everything. This two, Argentina and Barcelona will always have players like this because of how good football is played over there.

Messi isn’t like any other player, his presence is always a serious threat to opponents. It’s not uncommon for the opposing team to focus solely on him throughout the match, this is often what other players take advantage of to find openings to score goals. So i'm quite sure there will be a difference after he leaves, even if it's not a significant one. Let’s hope the other young players will truly be able to fill this gap with the skills they possess. After all, Argentina is full of star players, i think their chances of maintaining their current level of performance are quite high.

However, we got to see him on the field against Scotland. He played the last 20 minutes for Brazil after almost three years. Then we saw how he scored a goal against Norway. So I won't blame Ancelotti here for not playing him.
Well, it's already happened, but it's not about blaming or not blaming. What I mean is, if you have a player like him, who is good, famous, who does excellent things on the field, you ask him, "Can you play? Do you feel good to play? Maybe 20 to 40 minutes?" If the player says yes, then he's used. If he gets injured again, it's not the coach's fault. I'm not saying this for myself, but there's a lot of discontent in Brazil regarding Ancelotti. I know we shouldn't make a big deal out of it, but we've already seen many bad practices due to current coaches.

After all, Argentina is full of star players, i think their chances of maintaining their current level of performance are quite high. You are right. Without Messi, many things can change in the Argentina team. Some changes can also be observed in the performance of the Argentina team. Because Messi can change the score of the match at the last moment by scoring a goal or assisting. If Messi was in the team, he would have performed with a lot of responsibility and leadership. But without him pressure will definitely be on other players. And the players of Argentina themselves know that Messi replacement is not possible in any way. Now how the team performs and scores goals with a strong team is a matter of time. The pressure that the opponent would have felt if Messi was in the team, may not happen anymore. How much the team's condition has changed now, can be understood only by watching the matches without Messi of Argentina. In fact, there have been some weaknesses in the team. However I hope the Argentina team will make themselves strong very soon, so that they can keep their team performance as before without Messi.

You said that Brazil should find their own messi. And I replied that it isnt that easy to find another messi as he is arguably the best ever footballer to play this sport, they can have another Ronaldo, or another Cafu or another ronaldinho but another messi is just not possible.
It's not the classic case where you say there's one in a million, because i think that legends like Messi there's just one. Then there are other types of players with other types of characteristics, such as Ronaldinho, Ronaldo the Brazilian and other players who have the characteristics of Brazilian football in their blood and in my opinion that is precisely what the Brazilians should find again, thus distinguishing themselves again from European football.

Raphinha is already 30 years old while Vinicius is 26. At this point they are no longer young promises, they are in their prime, and Raphinha really improved a lot after he turned 26-27 because he moved to Barcelona and found the right coach. In the past we had younger players playing way better than them. Ronaldinho was insanely good at 22, Kakà the same, Ronaldo since his 20s... The last real Brazilian we saw was, in my opinion, Neymar. After him just a lot of decent players but no stars.
Vinicius is still 26 years old. If all goes well, he has at least ten more years ahead of him. Raphinha, slightly less. So i believe that these are precisely the optimal years for both players to give their best, even if Vinicius didn't exactly have a linear start with expectations, while Raphinha has a constant growth over time.

Discontentment over Ancelotti for what? He was handed a Brazilian side that was almost in shambles. The Seleção has so many problems that need to be sorted out. I know they had a disappointing experience in the World Cup as they lost to Norway in the round of sixteen. Nevertheless, he still deserves more time to build the team. Most of the Brazilians who are fiercely criticising him are traditionalists in Brazilian football who are unhappy that a foreign coach was hired instead of the Brazilian FA (CBF) choosing an indigenous manager.

Don't mind them. Where was their Brazilian coach that's capable of fixing the team before the team was almost in shambles. The Brazil players are the problem themselves because they don't want to sacrifice more for the team despite having some quality players in their midst. Ancelotti isn't a magician that will just say Abracadabrraa and Brazil will start winning any team that play with them because they are Brazil. They need to work, improve their performance and build a strong team bond which is what Ancelotti needs to work on first in order, for them to blend easily to his game pattern.

I am old enough to remember the great Brazilian national team that participated in the 1982 World Cup in Spain. Honestly, I fell in love with Brazilian football back then because of how fantastic players like Sócrates, Zicom, Falcão, Serginho, etc. played. It was football poetry, they played attacking, very beautiful football and you just had to love them, they simply enjoyed football. Everyone saw them as world champions but, unfortunately, they were not destined to be. In the second round of the competition, they lost 3:2 to Italy and were eliminated. It showed that you can't just attack and neglect the defensive game. After that, Brazil began to change their approach in the next World Cups and increasingly became a team with a solid defense, a strong midfield and classy forwards, and this approach brought them the world championship titles in 1994 and 2002 and the final in 1998. After that, they got lost again and lost their identity and team spirit. I hope that at the next World Cup in 2030 we will see the same old Brazil that knows how to attack and defend and that plays as a team.

I know they can become weak by playing without Messi especially with the level of contribution he has made in the national team and what he has done in the long run for the team but I still believe they will get themselves back as a team his that it will take a lot of time and efforts to be able to find a replacement for Messi either in terms of tactics or getting another playing which I don't think is possible for now, but with time they will adapt and be good, we have heard of several teams who don't have a legend amongst them but they are still delivering for their club or national team, I believe they will also deliver for their nation, it will just take a matter of time to bring that into actualisation.

Whether it's the Brazil of the 1990s, 2000s, or even 2014, all of them were better than this present team that plays like garbage. I don't even waste my time betting on their matches anymore. The biggest issue is the mindset, as this current stars lack the focus and hunger of the old football superheroes. Their minds are filled with frivolities and ego, and their on-pitch coordination is totally off. The sync back then was huge and unbreakable. What can these guys do compared to legends like Ronaldo, Adriano, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Kaká, Denílson, Cafu, etc? Absolutely nothing! They are too distracted.

Performance of Ronaldo has dropped compared to before but his contribution is not to be forgotten. I saw in another recent news that he admitted his mistake for his overall activity and he wants Portugal to punish him but he will not go to retirement . That means he still wants to do something good for Portugal and Portugal should take this attitude into consideration and discuss how to use his experience to improve the team's performance. But I think there's a lot of distance between him and the Portugal team. Which was completely unnecessary at the end of his career.
This is something truly unacceptable for me, because Argentina manages to show the right and worthy respect towards a footballing symbol of this era, while Portugal and the Portuguese at least partially fail to show the right respect towards a legend who before him was nothing. Even some of his teammates don't support him and this is incredible, I can't explain it.
