Hello!  can you read?

Sometimes I lay in bed and pretend to be a potato while thinking of carrot cake recipes and listening to Neil Young's "Heart of Gold". Besides that minor quirk I can read just fine, I was really tired last night and must have scrolled right past it. Thanks for re-posting the info.

lol, sounds good.  I must have been in a bad mood... but it was a few posts above.  I don't mind when people don't have time to go through 40 screens (who does?), but when the same question was asked 3 posts earlier, I just found it funny and worth calling out.

Glad you're hear; hope I didn't scare you away!

Can't believe the website still recommends us to go to that vircurex scam to exchange your merge mined altcoins.

Has there been anything recent, or are you just referring to the original hack issue?

Is there a better exchange? That recommendation remains from a while back and I've no personal experience with it myself. I can probably just remove it since I'm sure most people know what to do with their coins these days.

I have not been able to get anything stable yet. p2pool is a bit challenging. I'm still working on it.

it's a proper pain the arse to be sure...  you should always set a failover pool. Once mmpool is back my rigs will kick back over.
still could do with updates on the situation.

Pool is down because of this:

Quote
From: DD4BC TEAM <dd4bc@outlook.com>

Hello

Your mining server is extremely vulnerable to ddos attacks

I want to offer you info how to properly setup your protection, so that you can't be ddosed, at least not with so little power.
My price is 2 Bitcoin only.

Right now I'm running small (very small) attack which will not crash your server, but you should notice it in logs. Just check it.

If I increase the attack size, I could completely crash, it would drop all connections and damage would be big...
Don't worry, I will not do it. Smiley

I want to offer you  info on how I did it and what you have to do to prevent it. If interested pay me 2 BTC to 17aLGgw8AwJdqiBtMMG1QtQJgNQQkiyEsp

Thank you.

I suggest using a backup pool until the situation is resolved.
