I think I've solved it! My S5 was connected to a local stratum proxy with #xnsub in the URL. I simply removed it and things got MUCH better instantly. Now the stratum proxy disconnects the S5 on each extranonce/pool change, but the hash rate is as it should be. Smiley

If you're using stratum proxy you should consider using newer stratum proxy with extranonce support, see "Stratum-Proxy guide" here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=asic

It's exactly what I'm using. Smiley
It "talks" extranonce with the stratum server normally, but to solve the hashrate problems I had to remove '#xnsub' in the S5 pool configuration that targets the proxy.

OK, that's fine since you only have to use #xnsub when directly connecting to our stratums. However the proxy should not disconnect the miner on each extranonce/pool change - this is what  [enableExtranonceSubscribe" : true] setting is for in the proxy configuration ... you should report this bug in the proxy thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=611338.0).

When extranonce is enabled between the worker and the proxy itself, the S5 hashrate drops for ~20% at even slightly greater pool difficulty. That was the problem I've described initially. With extranonce worker-proxy subscription the proxy doesn't disconnect the worker, it's able to rebind the existing worker connection to another pool, but the hashrate suffers.

"Working perfectly" for you? On April 3rd, from 15:49 to 17:20 UTC Time, Westhash went down. How do I know? Because my miners, at least a few of them, switched over to the backup pool, nicehash and f2pool. They have not been stable for the last few days.

When this happens, contact support and we will check out if you were put on ban list. This can sometimes happen if your miners submit massive amount of invalid shares.

The latest stratum-proxy commit seems to solve this problem too: https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/issues/39 .
Now the worker can connect to the stratum proxy using #xnsub without any impact on the hashrate, if you limit the number of workers to 1. It all boils down to the extraNonce size.

There are some great opportunities to earn with LTC arbitrage for past 12 hours. You can currently place order for price as low as 0.03 BTC/GH/day and get Scrypt hashing power.

Hello. I use a miner SGminer 5/1/1 with your website. He is set to multialgo. But when digging neoskript I get some HW errors. Here is my batch file

 {
                "name" : "NiceHash_NeoScrypt_multi",
                "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4341",
                "user" : "18NPPbxyJMCqHaBbmbiuiSiqbjtjwNv7qQ",
                "pass" : "f0=0;f2=0;f3=8.5;f4=6.2;f5=0;f6=0;f7=0;f8=0.3;f9=0;f10=155;f11=6.5",
                "algorithm" : "neoscrypt",
           "worksize" : "64",
           "intensity" : "13",

, please tell me what I'm doing  wrong?

I'm a hash buyer, I have tried serval times, but still can't make profit with SHA256 mining even I used NiceHashBot. Is the problem with my chosen pool?

Maybe. You should also calculate how much you will earn before buying hash power. Can you tell at what price you bought Ghashs and how much you bought and also the pool you are mining?

P.S. Earnings can also decrease if there is a difficulty increase. Always, calculate how much you will get in next difficulty. Use vnbitcoin.org calculator. It's pretty good.

I had the same problem.  Don't forget the 2% fee they tack on when you place a bid.

Approx. 0.01017241 BTC/Th/24hr., times the 2% fee =  0.0099689618 is your break even with current difficulty and luck at 100%.

If you mine f2pool, they also charge a 4% fee, so in all you will be paying 6% in fees.
BTCGuild charges 2%= 4%

Find a pool that offers no fees to mine on like Eligius, Antpool etc.

I hope this helps.
