How come when I start mining on the multipool I can't see any of my stats?

Does it take a while to show up or am I doing something wrong?

I stopped mining after an hour because I didn't want to be wasting my hashing power.  Help, anyone?

It takes a few minutes to show up for me, been mining for weeks now without issues I see my stats here

http://multi.pandapool.info/#mystats

Make sure you put the correct panda wallet ID in the mining url beside -u

-o stratum+tcp://multi.pandapool.info:3128 -u PERUk5G9imfjShCabkMusfEd7goap88zXn -p workername

No problem, if that doesn't work try the different port #s on http://multi.pandapool.info/ because if you have a slower hash rate and try lets say the ASIC tier it probably wouldn't work.

I have another noob question about the multipool.

What's the point of the merged mining with dogecoin? It says "Yes, by mining on Pandapool you are automatically mining DOGE through AuxPoW (also known as merged mining)."
Then it says "we exchange all coins for DOGE and PND"

So they are mining doge and exchanging coins for doge? I'm sure most people in that pool are only interested in PND.

Can someone please explain to me the point/benefit of the merge mining with doge?

Yea I don't get it either, why promote doge mining on a pandapool but I'm sure there is a reason. At first I thought it mined both at same time but you either chose panda or doge.

Someone on /biz/ explained it to me like this:

"you put in either a PND or DOGE wallet address, which would then be associated with your hashing power. The pool could check the ratio of PND to total and exchange for that amount of PND to distribute.
As for less variance, more hashing power makes it more likely to be winning blocks. A larger pool is better than a smaller pool for the same reason a pool is better than a solo miner (spreads rewards out more evenly over time instead of irregular rewards)"

I get it now!

you dont understand, bro.

we're all DOGEs (shibes). DOGE threads are what bread PND. the Multipool was for DOGE and PND because we fight the same fight.

I know man. i was on the DOGE threads on /g/ when Pandacoin was first conceived to fuck with wolong. Those threads were the best thing to ever happen to a lonely neet.
PND has come a long way and I thought it was dead many times. What else can you say besides amdoge turned out to be one hell of a dev...maybe even the best. The OP header for this thread is amazing looking too. PND has a place in my heart for realz.

I just didn't understand the concept of merged mining but now I get it.

P.S. What's up with Miles and Koreaboo? Anyone seen them on /biz/ lately?

Please help, when I try to import my paper wallet private key into the console window of the pandabank, I unlock it first with "walletpassphrase mypassword timout" which is fine but when I try to import the private key it says "unlocked for staking only" how do I unlock it so I can import a private key from a paper wallet?

Thanks!
