quiet here, hope mintpal doesnt fuck up orders or my balances  i agree another big exchange is needed, which one, i dont care, maybe bter or btc38  Those would be nice. I wonder if they'd pick PND up. Yes another high volume capable exchange for Pandacoin would be nice even though Mintpal is good for us, times like this show centralization is a concern. Some have noticed our Pandacoin PND suddenly was missing as a supported coin at CoinPayments.net merchants for instance. From what I have come to understand from working with Coinpayments on previous similar situations is they use Mintpal to monitor Pandacoins volume. They monitor all their supported coins similarly and any extremely low volume coins automatically get shut down temporarily if the minimum amount of trading is not occurring daily. I have had to contact them in the past to return Pandacoin service but usually Pandacoin will automatically show back up once Mintpal has some verifiable activity. I don't like the fact that we rely so heavily on mintpal. Can we launch a community initiative to get us listed on one of the other major exchanges?
As is now, mintpal goes down, pnd trading stops. Decentralization is still important.

Did anyone notice how the Bluetrade market is more "normal" i.e. without those gigantic sell and buy walls keeping price movement/progress basically static or snail-like on Mintpal? Is there any way we ask Mintpal to "clear the deck", erase all orders and just start from scratch when they start back up (presumably tonight)? Alts aren't legally money or securities so there aren't any legal issues. I have a feeling some of those walls have been there for months. The price could shoot up nicely to a new floor before the manipulators wake up and stifle things again. I don't like the fact that we rely so heavily on mintpal. We ll get to the first spot no problem. while cryptsy claims they are votebased they don't add any coins anymore based on votes, any money spend on their is a huge waste, all coins they added last 4-5 months are coins that had a lot of volume on other exchanges first so it's kind of a huge scam we're high their anyway on votes |
