Everybody knows that 1PND will not be 1USD during the next days  Grin
But if it possible to adopt THIS coin to the masses, a lot could be possible.
If years ago someone would write about selling bitcoin for 1000usd in the future......

panda brings nothing new it is the same shit as mintcoin both about to die.

What makes masses move is for example blackcoin (young coins), there you see constant development and innovations!

Well, the "1 PND = 1 USD" is more of a metaphorical matter. I would be very happy with 100 PND = 1 USD in a year or two, but even this seems to be a little exaggerated.
Price variations are to be expected, one must look at the mean value on more than a few days or even weeks in order to asses the success or the failure of a coin.
To really succeed in implementing the dev's stated vision, PND must become a real currency, with a relatively stable value and widespread adoption and use. The current "comodity" status is just a phase. The take-off phase, hopefully Cheesy

I have no doubt that this coin will succeed in the long term.

I'm worried about how people will react in the short term, and how good natured folks will screw themselves over at the will of ill-willed individuals who would wish to extort others and spread FUD to hurt others and gain profits for themselves.

But in the end, I know what will happen if I hold. I know what will happen if I put my trust in these devs.

@The same 5 people responding to FUD postings; please stop responding to these guys. It's one thing to defend the coin but it's another to act like a cheerleader for this coin (which will end up giving us less credibility) since you guys are starting to make up the majority of posts here. 9/10 posts over the past 10 pages have either been the header, FUD posts, or replies to FUD posts.

Let the devs deal with the FUD posting. One reply from a notible person of this coin is all that is needed to debunk the FUD post.

I too think this is rather strange.

I wonder what they use as their metric for posts that deserve deletion.

I got in by chance when I was looking for a new coin and played around with PND, the whale crashed it and I scooped up a lot during the single digit litoshi dump just for fun thinking I might've bought into something that was dying. Ended up sitting on a winner. Looking forward to Aug.30 and what you guys are bringing to the table!

I first bought PND for 5 liteoshi because it seemed to have a solid community behind it and it was a cheap gamble. Turned out to be a very good decision since I've made 80x my money (well, when PND was @ 400 litoshi the other day), and I'm still holding. I've talked to the devs in IRC, I've talked with the community, and I've been impressed.

Personally I think 1 PND = $.01 to be a realistic goal if the devs continue plugging away as they have. This would give PND a market cap of ~$320 million, which is not a huge sum in the big scheme of things. In actuality, a market cap of $320 million would be only about 4% of the entire crypto market as it stands today.

Naysayers can FUD all they wish, but this coin was worth next to nothing and came roaring back because of a dedicated development team and supportive community - and I'll bet my $ on that any day.

Before I go into this, just know that I'm in PND with 275m coins.

It's great that you're all so into PND the way you are, but you can't stick your heads in the sand.  Lesser known alt's are constantly played, run up and then plowed and PND may be no different.  Just because the devs may be great, which seems to be the case, and there are cool new features coming out, which seems to be the case, doesn't mean that the price won't tank after the official announcement.

Consider that the price has gone nuts in the last couple weeks based purely on hype and expectations of future news.  What coin can anyone name had that happen and the price DIDN'T balance out at or below prehype levels?  I'd bet none.  Also consider the price you're seeing now is likely already factoring in the news, meaning it might not go up when the news is released because the price already reflects that.  In fact it might go down because nervous investors will see the price not going up and start selling off, triggering a drop out, or it might be a race to see which dumper can get their cut first.  They don't say buy on the rumor, sell on the news for no reason.

Point is don't blindly dismiss any criticisms or concerns because "PND to the moon".  We didn't get to the actual Moon by closing our eyes and hoping for the best.

I don't know what world you're living in but starting off by calling everyone here "retards" and labeling the coin "shit" without offering any objective or productive tips/ideas is NOT constructive criticism, it's just being an ass.

Rethinking Digital Currency

Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. It was the prototype that introduced and demonstrated to the world the potential benefits and usages of a decentralized digital currency. However, digital currencies are still in their infant stages and have yet to see widespread mainstream adoption and usage as a unit of exchange both online and offline. There is a need to rethink the current approach to the design and marketing of digital currencies in order to achieve a global mass appeal.

August 30th

On the 30th of August the Pandacoin (PND) development team will unveil and release the highly anticipated set of major development updates to Pandacoin. The founders, developers, and architects of Pandacoin (PND) endeavor to redefine the current space with this set of major development updates, and be positioned to become the future digital currency of choice for the masses.
