Sorry for the maybe stupid question but cryptoglance shows all my 4 S3 miners and the correct pool/hashspeed But I just tried for the first time to make a pool switch to the second pool in the list and nothings appears/changes after saving. Trying to make a restart ends in the same result. Looks like I have no remote control but all works fine if I do it on the miner webinterface. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
This happens when you do not have write access to the cgminer API. Take a look at this post on how to configure the cgminer config on a bitmain product: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569924.msg11078275#msg11078275For CryptoGlance to update the miner remotely, you need to have a W: in front of the IP you want to grant access to.

You can try to use vimStart vim with: sudo vim filenamei - to enter edit mode ESC - to exit edit mode :wq - to save and exit :q! - to exit without saving Once your changes are done, restart: sudo shutdown -r now

anyway to have the pools show the password? i use the westhash as the pool 0 and i use a p= password, but its shows as ********* kind of sucks.
also can you make the refresh longer then 2 minutes? like maybe 10? and can you add solo.ckpool.org to the list of pools that you can show?

Unfortunately not. cgminer API does not provide the password for pools (not sure why...). Maybe in the future we can have some kind of functionality that lets the app SSH into the device and gather passwords, but no promises there also can you make the refresh longer then 2 minutes? like maybe 10?
Sure! It'll be in the next nightly update which is aimed to be this week. and can you add solo.ckpool.org to the list of pools that you can show?
Not sure the solo pool has much information we can pull, or if it even has an API. I'll look into this though.

I'll look into this though. cool thanks. it give you this {"hashrate1m": "1.24T", "hashrate5m": "1.31T", "hashrate1hr": "981G", "hashrate1d": "73.1G", "hashrate7d": "10.7G", "lastupdate": 1433138570, "workers": 3, "bestshare": 23563035.189569253} from your username which is your btc address.. thats all the info one would need. one more thing, is there a timeout? sometimes one or two of my miners show up as --- --- --- until it gets refreshed again. i have 3 s3s and 1 s5.

Hi Everyone,
Noob question for anyone who cares to answer. I just downloaded and installed cryptoglance and when I try to add Antpool as a mining pool, "Antpool" does not appear in the pool "Type" dropdown box in the software. The only options are Bitcoin Affiliate Network, CkPool, Eclipse, Eligius, MagicPool, MPOS, Mutipool.us, NOMP, and WafflePool.
Any suggestions?

CryptoGlance will initially attempt to fetch data for all devices to generate an overview. After this step, all rigs will update at the speed defined in Settings. You can always click the Update button in the Overview panel, this should force an update. Hi Everyone,

AntPool is a fairly new panel. Navigate to Settings, enable App Updates and select your desired branch. The safest branch is Release. The app will prompt you with an Update Available. Click the Update Now button and let the magic happen!

Thank you for this! If you implement this, please use a unixtime stamp converter so it will show the lastupdate in a time format human beings can understand.

Can you try another update type, such as Nightly or Release?

One last question for now: In your program, my rigs appear to "come and go", meaning they always appear to switch from offline to online (fairly constantly). This tends to cause all of the other windows to continually re-arrange themselves. Is there anything I can do about this?

Are your rigs on your local network or hosted externally? It's switching status because it's taking longer than 2 seconds to get a response from the miner.

Anything I can do to speed up response time? Not sure what you can do locally... However if you want to edit a file, you can change this value until the next release. Navigate to: C:\cryptoglance\application\includes\classes\miners\ Open with notepad: cgminer.php Search for: $socket = stream_socket_client('tcp://'.$this->_host.':'.$this->_port, $errno, $errstr, 2); Replace with: $socket = stream_socket_client('tcp://'.$this->_host.':'.$this->_port, $errno, $errstr, 10);
