It's not mentioned in the whitepaper how the "the message is sent to all nodes" works. Is this via blockchain? Or a kind of secondary chain? What if the recipient is not connected to the network at that moment?

I might be wrong in details, but here how i understand it works. Message addresses are tied to main chain, but messages travel with a separate chain and they are stored in independent files.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

ok i reactivated the http://cinni-news.com site, a lot of people visits the site, i already offered the domain so someone else can continue the project as it can keep on helping cinni on PR, as it does nothing for me now is just extra work and i already lose something in there (glad i already got it back on other coin)

so if i get no offer or donations to pay for server and stuff, i will have to use it with another coin (i wont write back, already offered once, if no takers dont complain later if i use for other project)

thanks, best of luck

Till now, the cinni dev team doesn't care a lot about the cinnicoin main website, so I hope for you that PR get changed and get some more attention and financial support.
I think it is key for a Cinnicoin breakthrough.

I recommend taking advantage of the cheap CINNIs and learn patience they are working very hard on what matters. Consider yourself lucky, as your right, no one outside of this thread knows CINNI coins potential to change the crypto world and it's true value Wink load up amigo it hasn't even begun . . .

Thanx buddy, I feel lucky Wink And true, it hasn't even begun . . .

We're currently talking with one of the senior programmers from one of the other leading second generation cryptocurrencies regarding getting him to help contribute to help implement some of the functionality that they offer, in Cinnicoin.

Well, you answer your question yourself Wink
If a separate chain is used to store messages one could download it a couple of days later and still receive the message.

Would be nice if devs could complete the whitepaper with further details on it.

Which coin's dev is he?

I thought maybe CINNI team had close link with XC coin's dev since batbott is often posting there.
(But i really don't know anything, that's some pure speculation)

Well, I've just been told directly by CinniCoin that it isn't mindfox, which is disappointing. Just mentioning it immediately and publicly to make it clear everyone has the same info at roughly the same time - in other words, I am not an insider.

I hope the focus remains on the unique, value-added anon transaction system (EM-based and beyond the blockchain) that I understood CINNI was developing rather than copying features from some other coin.

I do not understand what looks to me, the noob, like complacency. Maybe I misinformed. In any case, I wish the coin the best with hope that the devs have something good up their sleeves that will keep CINNI from turning into something like the delisted zeitcoin.

OK, i didnt exactly understand what was your question then.
Messages are stored only for 48h. If you are offline longer than that, you will likely not get it.

Double up in market cap to match Vertcoin is kind of obvious. Can say more after seeing new wallet launched and people/market reaction to it.

Many people are not familiar with Vertcoin Stealth Address (First in the world), maybe you're one of them  Wink

Quote
At the moment, we’re working on stealth addresses in Vertcoin. Those of you have been around a while may remember, in the early days of VTC, there was some discussion over zerocoin implementation, and we made clear that anonymous/untraceable payments were not the direction we wanted to go with VTC – we are of the opinion that mainstream adoption won’t come from these features, and that they will actually damage the currencies that go down that route. The fact is, people don’t care about anonymity – if they did, they wouldn’t use social media etc.

However, we do believe in transactional privacy akin to what you expect from your legacy payment/banking systems, such that it’s not trivially easy for anyone to see your entire financial history.

Stealth addresses strike a good balance – all the transactions are still on the blockchain to be seen, but the link between an address and an individual is obfuscated. One thing that not many people seem to consider when talking about anonymity systems in cryptocurrencies is that true anonymous payments make all the blockchain tools you’re used to useless.

Stealth addresses increase privacy for a recipient by allowing you to publish a stealth address, which is like a seed which the sender then uses to generate a unique one-use Vertcoin address for the transaction. All the transactions remain public on the blockchain, but knowing the entire transactional history of your stealth address is now no-longer possible except for you, the holder of the secret key.

My resources about stealth addresses so far:

No i have read it all. And that is one of the reasons why i think CINNI will match Vertcoin price soon enough.

might be DIGIT, they set up a permanent node for CINNI recently as tribute to cinnicoin devs for the EM addon which was added to their coin.
