Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Let us observe some facts.

1.  The Cinni wallet will not sync.  I have been trying for 2 days now, and I am still only 25% done.  I have closed and reopened the wallet dozens of times, and it still sticks/stalls.  Absolutely nobody wants to wait weeks/months for a wallet to sync - nor do they want to go digging through forums for possible solutions which may or may not work.

2.  A wallet that won't sync is a useless wallet.

3. A useless wallet = NO wallet.

4.  Mintpal, cinnicoin's largest exchange, recently suffered an attack which caused panic to spread among their users - many of whom (myself included) began to remove their funds from the exchange.

5.  Many cinni holders who heretofore trusted mintpal to store their coins, had not downloaded a local cinni wallet.  However, after the attack their trust in mintpal was shaken, so they attempted to set up local wallet for safe storage of their coins, only to discover that cinni has no wallet.

6.   Predictably, these investors became frustrated with cinnicoin, and sold them off for something that did have a working wallet and which could be safely transferred out of mintpal.  Naturally, the price plummeted (although it could have and SHOULD HAVE gone much lower).

8.  Many people have offered up many theories about the dev and his intentions - however none of these people offered any hard verifiable evidence to support them.

9.  A theory which is submitted without solid supporting evidence may be discarded without consideration.

Q & A:

Does this coin have some problems right now?
Yes.

Is the coin DEAD?
No.

Can it come back?
Certainly.

Will it come back, and if so, When?
I don't know.

Did the dev plan this all along, abandon the coin, and is he part of some conspiracy to steal all of your money?

Probably not.

I hope this helps to settle some nerves on this thread.  Jeesh.

The wallet does take a while to sync, but it does in fact sync. It reminds me of the WDC or BTC wallets. Sloooww. But the network is stable and secure, right?

Besides, it does not need to be up to sync for your address to receive CINNI. I do not doubt that some people dumped out of frustration of this though. The MINTPAL dump theory is a good one.

Now let's see if that bootstrap file gets place in the OP with instructions.

Cinni is far from dead.

Investors thrive on updates, which is to be expected. With the devs having moved toward overproducing and underpromising instead of overpromising and disappointing, they've caused insecurity amongst small investors and whales alike. The devs are still working on anon, Ryon has just had to refocus his efforts on work after having contributed so much time on the EM feature. With the features this coin has and will have shortly, there's no reason for this coin to be trading so low. Add in the fact that nearly all alts are experiencing abnormally low volume, and it's obvious that Cinni's a steal at this price. After it's most recent dip, it's holding steady and doesnt seem like it'll go any lower. Price is definitely discounted atm, and is an easy buy. Good luck, investors, but with these features it's an eminent main stream coin, and a no-brainer.

My thoughts if it matters  Grin

Even with all the -FUD, I'm still buying... wallet has been staking like a CHAMP and this is still a strong coin!!!
I have other POS wallets that don't even come close to working as well as CINNI. Just a fact Jack!

Thank you for getting the bootstrap up and running. It will help those out tremendously that are looking to install the wallet for the first time and pull their Cinni off the exchanges to start staking.
Plus it will help tamper the pussy whining about long sync times  Tongue and those trying to pull down this coin!!
Please try to get it on the OP asap!

As for the idiots giving the dev a hard time about updates....
FYI it's not easy trying to have a life and work on programming as it is you being able to download your porn... jerk off... and being satisfied within 3 minutes.
Pick up your socks and STFU already and leave if you can't handle the real life pressures  Grin Grin

My god FUDer's are a bunch of lazy, retarded fucks!!

I know that if the dev ever did up and leave the Cinni project; I do have security knowing this community will keep the coin together and help find another dev if need be.
But I don't personally see that situation happening anytime soon, if ever.

Cheers to Cinni!

There have been a lot of forces manipulating Cinni since the very beginning, guys.
A ton of the initial huge investors were all part of that Blackcoin group, and they manipulate altcoins for personal profit.  Remember back when there was supposedly going to be a 'miner giveaway' on the Cinnipool? Then for CAIx, then for Blackcoin again? Nobody is going to be getting a miner for minng on any of those pools....

Rynom is a A+ developer but unfortunately I fear that we may have lost him to the cartel that manipulates these markets so badly. Trust me, nobody wanted Cinni to do better than I did but recently I have come to realize that it was an uphill battle.  I am finally done pulling myself completely out of Cinni.  To the rest of you - I wish each of you the best of luck in your trading.  If you ever get tired of being played like fiddles by the blackcoin cartel, i urge you to look at an altcoin that is larger than any blackcoin cartel could manage to manipulate (such as NXT), or stick to BTC.

Happy tradings.

ps, my prediction is that we will likely see rynom releasing some totally new coin for the cartel (likely using some psuedo account and the BC cartel will pump it heavily).
It will likely be a ASIC/multipool immune algo-switching coin that likely changes algo every X number of rounds or something, and requires a special miner like the nicehash miner to be able to mine it.
I was pretty sure that Roulettecoin was going to be this coin (it still could be) but I'm not 100% sure.
Whenever it does come out though, know for sure that they will have to figuire out some way to hustle the majority of coins under their control long before they ever decide to pump it, and they will exploit you for every single dollar that you can be exploited for.

This is probably one of the reasons coins like NOBLE got attacked besides the fact Rofo told the story how it is about 90% of the coins being scams.

I know the following coins aren't part of the cartel or should I say the Devs that don't bend to the cartel, Digibyte, Noble, Vert, Pot, Guldencoin.

To me it looks like Cinnicoin was the PR guy and all he can do is establish a coin logo contest while he prays one of the original devs comes back to help out. The truth is if these devs have dumped out
already they not coming back.

However only 1 coin out of the above has a chance because they not getting initial support from whales and that is guldencoin because they are taking it mainstream.

Cinnicoin is a good and honest dev from what I've seen, but he is not of the calibre that Rynomster is.  That being said, I was working on getting an alternate dev to come and assist with Cinni but I fear that the cartel has it in for Cinni.  Likely they could even still hold the majority of hte coins - I cannot stress enough just how much this cartel is playing these markets, they hold literally the majority of the coins in most of the stuff that they pump and that's how they control the prices.
Even XC is a fuckin scam, why do you think they managed to convince ATCSECURE to reduce the POW period and limit the total number of coins? Because they had a majority of them already, and they didn't want to lose that majority.  Why are most of the new coins these coins with extremely short POW periods?  So that they can just max out the nicehash rentals and get a majority then control the market entirely.  They don't give a shit about your profitability, or any of the coins, or anything other than cashing out as much BTC as they possibly can sucker you out of.
This cartel has different branches, they've got the multipools, the coin developers, they run the poolpicker.eu site to try and control the pool traffic, they have the altcoin media sites in their pockets, and shit, i think they even have stake in mintpal.  This is all a giant fucking scam intended to seperate you from your coin.

PS, one thing I've noticed with nearly every coin that the cartel has a finger in - they all release PDF whitepapers, detailing how they are such a non scam or why they are the one to invest your money in, etc etc.  Whenever they have an innovative idea they kick it off with six different other coins at the same time to create marketplace trends (encrypted messaging, integrated invoicing, anonymity, etc)
I have not yet figured out if the same cartel is the ones behind the darkcoin pump but I would not doubt that even a single bit.

I'd rather not paint that big of a target on myself.  Most people who read what I posted will realize that it is completely true however.

Cinnicoin needs to come out with info on what the Development plans are. His recent posts of what will happen are non specific and lacking in content and timing. Even if time frames cannot be guaranteed, there needs to be a good strong estimate. Not "soon" kind of talk.

If you need help Cinnicoin, time to man up and ask for help. There are plenty of people here who would rather know what's going on and try and help.

I know you rejected Mindfox, so you hopefully have a good reason, as in someone else will be jumping on board!!??

Who will be filling the voids left by Rynomster and battbot?

Schild_ seems to be putting forth quite the effort to play a role similar to a community manager but it doesn't seem he has the access to information that is needed. The OP is not even getting updated regularly. You must be overwhelmed, or maybe you are just overlooking things. What's the plan man? Who besides you is actually working on the development and management of this project?

Edit:
Haha, and with that he is now offline. Guess we will have to settle for "I didn't reject anyone's help."  Cinnicoin, please explain why you have not selected someone who can help communicate the changes that are occurring to the community? Someone who has the time, patience and social adeptness to actually give some satisfactory answers?
