Kucoin listing will be live soon. We're rushing to get the new website wrapped up so it's ready for the listing and outreach campaign. If anyone knows the owner of the twitter account @BBRcurrency (https://twitter.com/BBRcurrency) and can get him to hand over the account to our marketing guys that will really help alleviate any confusion through social media efforts. The other option is we'll have to get it shut down for impersonation. It's not a good look when a Boolberry branded social media account is promoting other projects instead of Boolberry.

That's fine, but we gotta have a decentralized network with a reasonable average miner hash rate so this kind of outage doesn't occur. I think this should come first before listing on exchanges :\ Exchanges won't be able to pay out...it will break the BTC pair. We need the average hate rate per address to be around 1 MH/sec at these level. That would give you like 1-2 BBR a day at these levels, depending on difficulty.  We can still function of course, but we're crippled. If the big whale miners give up for whatever reason, then a situation like right now occurs. There should be small miners to fill in. I remain patient, and I will look at the code when I can about my restore from seed gripe.

I have 1 little tiny graphics card that does 920 kh...almost 1 mh and a rig of them.
Is it maybe the pool code too.. meaning outdated pools?
If this really takes off we should see 100 gh net maybe more.

EDIT: The net hash didn't change.... so what is the real problem?

Why do you have to entice me with this amazing website and awesome development. I do not have the hostility to the XMR family since I see this competition as a good and healthy thing. BBR looks great. Its nice to see legitimate projects in a sea of garbage. Going to increase my stack

Well, my wallet synced that single block that was found 41 min ago by the 3.82 GH/sec network rate. So, I guess the network is back?

if you can't sync daemon, or can't mine I guess, please delete the poolstate.bin and p2pstate.bin files from your .boolbd directory where the blockchain is kept

I'm just your average computer scientist...this network outage is bollocks.

I have been concerned about the BBR network ever since I did the math and realized each "connected miner" address on one of the main public mining.blue pools is doing ~ 18 MH/sec. That's some serious hash rate, even for Wild Keccak terms. I estimate what I am calling a botnet behind BBR on mining.blue had at least 50 wallet addresses doing ~ 18 MH/sec each in Wild Keccak terms which is ~ 590 Intel Xeon Sandy Bridge 2.9 GHz cores running full blast to get that 1 GH/sec. It's not like AEON where the main pool has 1400 public addresses mining away and the average for each miner address is totally reasonable. Our average is not reasonable for the average "one CPU-one vote". How can everyone not see this? Just no comment? The difficulty is totally controlled ~ 250 mining address, each of which is not the average person. It could be as few as that. Seriously. I get that number because 50 mining address are doing 1 GH/sec, so 250 are doing the full 5 GH/sec. Of course the other 4 GH/sec is "dark". What pool they on? How can anyone get anonymity out of a black box of 250 connected miners, escapes me. There's good reason to believe one entity controls most or all of that. When the botnet goes down, the coin goes down. There is no distributed network to speak of. I can throw some hash rate at it, but come on....

Also, you cannot restore the BBR wallet from seed. Major gripe. This BS has been around since 2014. Give me a break.

....hmm.... now to deep dive the code and do my next expose. First thing to find out....why the wallet don't restore from seed. You think I'm gonna wait around for CZ for this? Hah. Where are the programmers in this thread :\

1. This science approach is balls. Im an economist and i can overthrow your asumptions, which are useless.
First, there are GPUS and CPUS. Try it for yourself. Use brain and a gpu, you will see. No botnets here, when the BBR was not listed on exchanges, there was little hashing power. Been here for a while, more than half a year, my part is from 5MH - 45MH.

The botnets miner maybe is the culprit, I have some messages from mph that stated :

"Some of Monero, Electroneum, Zcoin pool servers were not working due to massive botnet miners. Please set fail-over server from miner rigs."

Yeah you can imagine when 100k botnets try to connect to a pool, the service will bogged down and overflowded finally clogged and stop.

It doesn't  look like its going to happen anytime soon, just guessing though based on the the lack of the new website up, lack of attention to the social media and no signs of CZ for a while, oh and no announcement from Kucoin. I know CZ is the developer and probably working but without communication and enthusiasm  from him the community moral lags. Momentum is key with any project and really important when trying to make a comeback and build confidence.

The new Boolberry website is almost finished, there's some final Q&A left to do then it'll be ready to go live. CZ is definitely around! I can't speak on his behalf, but I can try to reassure the community that he is definitely committed to improving Boolberry.

We've been chatting about the latest Boolberry V2 research paper. From what I can tell, he is planning the best roll out strategy to adapt the technology so that there are no conflicts with the features he is bringing into the project. After that is sorted out then we can organize a project road map.

What can we expect with a coin that has been in cryogenesis for such a long time. It is no easy feat to bring BBR back. I'd say the buzz around the project is quite impressive given the lack of liquidity in the market as well as the lack of marketing. I speculate a breakout will happen soon enough. I do wish, however, that more exchanges take up BBR since I personally do not like having multiple accounts with BTC lying on them. Best to have a hardware wallet I suppose but at the same time it would be easier to have a consolidated portfolio on a reputable exchange.

Really cant wait for Kucoin. I lost some bbr to stocks.exchange a couple days ago and they still have yet to respond to my support ticket. Also, it seems they've disabled deposits and withdrawals on stocks too. Anyone know anything about that?
