Hi @crypto_zoidberg, there has been optimized updates for the cpuminer(stratum) lately, could you compile and update the miner for windows too?
I've talked with Wolfy, he said to me that windows build is not problem for him, so i expect he gonna make build in next hours.
If not - i'll do it this night.

Thanks.

I agree, BBR is currently better than XMR, but what can you do. Monero has a few big names behind that gives investors (speculators) more confidence + more developers + better name + few guys bashing BBR.

If you follow the investors, they are more like P&Ders trying to pump their investment. Real investors don't hang out in troll boxes. So far the higher developer count has not translated into a better product. The name is a matter of opinion. The bashers only have FUD.

I like BBR, I like XMR.

In my opinion,
  • BBR has the better product technically, 'it just works'.
  • XMR has the better momentum & marketing - like it or not, it counts for a lot.
However these dynamics can change very quickly.

Major difference for me is price, relative to each other. Either XMR over-valued or BBR is under-priced. I've no doubt, these will be the Top 2 Cryptonote coins, it's still up for grabs in which order for me. I'm hedging my bets accordingly and rooting for both!

bbr.farm: is updated to the latest code,
we also upgraded our server to welcome more miners.

Please use stratum, and happy mining
Code:
./minerd -a wildkeccak -o stratum+tcp://bbr.farm:7777 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p X -P -D -t NUMBER_OF_THREADS -k http://bbr.farm/download/scratchpad.bin

You can find me on #boolberry channel on FreeNode

Since today i get this error on bbr.farm, before it worked.
I user the miner from Otila and it speed up (until yesterday) my hashrate by 2.5 times compared to boolbd daemon. Thanks to Otila.

Code:
./minerd -a wildkeccak -o stratum+tcp://bbr.farm:7777 -u 1DAJ5t4XyRXKmZnsmz2QDYJfxqpf1HMUpViAqYfcujUmKCWuayM9Uit8fMbB17M11vAANpoj3Gvpx2qupJW4y8wqV6qagF7 -p X -P -D -t 4 -k http://bbr.farm/download/scratchpad.bin

Boolean - is most simple and fundamental data type in computer scince. At the other hand it's equivalent of "bit".
Berries - just because i'm sick of blabla-coin project names.

Hi Guys
I might seem rather backwoods but can someone point me at links for latest gpu miner and latest cpu miner that are already compiled.

I have been watching this thread and only find links that need compiling.......A skill I do not possess.  Huh I might not be the only one.

Cheers and thank you for your help  Grin
