hey everyone, I'm still here, but excuse me if I'm a little distant. I'm dealing with some personal problems. I had to buy some self-defense so that should tell you something. I'm reallllllly stressed and i've lost btc value in my portfolio as well because of all this crap. So bear with me for a few days. People are crazy!!! You make a good job. Thank you for everything. Wish you only the best my dear Things have settled a lil bit since a few days ago when it all really hit the fan, but I thank you for your concern, bud. I have a Vietnam War vet living under me for about 6-8 months and any little noise wakes him up during the night or pisses him off during the day. Guy's a loose cannon and more than likely suffers PTSD, and I hate to take action legally since he served, but there's a line I have to draw. The war ended years ago, don't bring to my apartment. Rock and hard place, ya know?

Specialkey, thank you for your kind words and trying to change the subject to get my mind off things. I'll PM you about NLG. Thanks to another community member also for recommending it who shall remain nameless, but starts with a "C". My personal situation: I had to get the police involved, things will be quiet for a while and I can get back to business with my coins. My apologies everyone for this drama. I may take a day off to go do things for myself or check in minimally, just to count my marbles and make sure I got them all. Haha.

Hey everyone, I've noticed our volume slipping again, and because of all my personal drama I haven't been able to monitor it to know how long we've been lacking. Let's get some trading going on!

I just don't see how we can pump the coin without an active dev, let alone gain attention to pump, even with the service you suggested.

Or bigger sell orders for a lower price. That are the only two possibilities how OC can survive on Bittrex. I still have the hope that orangcoin could have a comeback.

I guess he has personal isuess like an illness or a bigger moving action perhaps a new job in a new location.

Update:
Last known whereabouts for OCdev: Btctalk: July 3rd Twitter: August 12th Github: August 10th
We have had zero volume at bittrex for a few days, we will get delisted if we don't start moving some coins around.
In the Contest Fund wallet, we have 198863.514687 OC now. 3045.784109 additional in the wallet to the 250 member OC giveaway that I donated to. PoS has staked both amounts, but all PoS will eventually be rolled into the CF.

What about Jim Rambler? I know he spent a lot of time working on upgrades for the coin and was waiting on OC Dev to implement them. Can he implement them without OC Dev? Is he willing to do so? It would seem a shame for his hard work to go to waste. Not to mention some of us, myself included, invested in anticipation of these changes. It sucks to see this coin go this way.

I have copied this from an earlier post of mine about 2-3 pages back: Jim had said he 'could' release the wallet but needed to go over Ocdev's coding first, but without OCdev, it would take Jim a while to figure everything else out (like code definitions and such, I'm guessing). Jim was brought on board to assist OCdev with the MN, not to take over the coin.

I know everyone loses with this situation. For most everyone else it's monetary, but I've poured my heart, soul and my essence into this coin. I really hate to see it die too. Almost like my child is dying. Months of work for nothing. I can't tell you enough how disappointed I am in OCdev. I have a lot more at stake than just financials. It sucks.

I can understand you.
I think OC will comeback at any time and rebrand with good developerteam/ marketing .
And it is still staking until then ;-)
I still think about to re-enter but only at a very low price with a big amnount ;-)

You're a good friend. And you're 100% correct, and I've even said it before. There's nothing wrong with OC as a coin, no forks, staking works perfectly, Tor included, foundation is built. Wish Bittrex wasn't just about the money. Even stocks on Wall St on the main exchanges get 6-7 months before they get delisted when they fall below $1, coins get 7-14 days.... I know, not the same, but damn... no room for anything at bittrex.

OC is still active at Bittrex.
I also have some problems in this cryptoworld, about investments just dying for no reason - it is either that the DEV goes missing, or some useless newbies use FUD to scare away fresh investors.
Where is OCdev?
There are many ways to revive this coin - rebranding is a very good way - we already a functioning coin.

I had the same issues with WC, AC and YC. Then came orangecoin and I thought I will have a little luck with it. At the moment I am only intrested in NLG. The devs are good and the coin gets more and more acceptance in holland. In one year it could be 50 cent to one dollar worth .
