Seems counterproductive to post about there being XMR apparel then show DASH and ETH images?

That was my thought also. Sounds like a marketing fail to me. I do find marketing fails amusing in general.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Also if you are running a service that needs to use simplewallet in RPC mode to check if payments are received but you have no need to send funds remotely, it's good to enable this flag: --restricted-rpc: Restricts RPC to view-only commands

That's a cool feature. Which reminds me: It'd be useful to have a flag to open wallets on the *command line* in view-only mode, that is, to restrict the command line interface of simplewallet to only view-only commands. (Yes, I know how to generate a view-only wallet, but that requires a refresh from scratch.) Yes, ideally, if you're treating a wallet as view-only for the most secure puposes, you'll actually want to choose a different password for it, meaning a completely separate wallet file instance, but I can also see instances where you'd want to open an otherwise spendable wallet and leave it refreshing without the possibility of it being spendable while it's doing so, or just to quickly check the balance.

That's Killa! 0.42 last year and up to 0.67 last month, I think that is a great indicator. Charts would be a good addition.

Actually.. no.

You see, http://moneroblocks.info is the only monero block explorer that measures block size in bananas.

Thats what I've been speculating!

Thanks again - this is so cool. Now every user can see if our blocksize is actually going to expand at any point.

Since Gingeropolous woke me up from my longlasting slumber I added links to more detailed data from the stats page.
Only available for the transaction count for the time being.

I think this is particularly interesting:

Isn't this misleading though? You can see the # of txs per block roughly double at the time of the hardfork, March 2016, which would mean that the # of txs per minute has remained roughly constant, and is still essentially the same as it was at the launc.

Yes, you're right.

Nothing to see here, folks.
