How do I know if I am merged mining now and that something is happening? I can see that VTC is mining as usual... monocled getbalance

Same thing, mining with 4 rigs on p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 I can see vtc coming in my vtc wallet, but mon wallet nothing and get the same error in console, using mac wallet here.. |

p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 now listening for merged mining
Mining here with three rigs, working fine. i moved to it but's most likely not good for me single card miner , but it's working. anyone know which is best p2pool for slow miners? What config did you use? Mine failed when I tried this: tcp://p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 -u vtc_address.mon_address -p x I thought a "." is required between the VTC address and MON address? You need to use -u VTCADDRESS -p MONADDRESS Boris, where's the front end? |

I just noticed some log entries on the vtcpool.co.uk node indicating at least one person is connecting with the +0.00xxx etc option for share difficulty - you MUST NOT use this option when mining on port 9555 for merged mining. Only use your VTC address as username and MON address as password, do not pass a share difficulty or you won't be able to connect.
Oops, that was me. Now mining all OK, but high amount of rejects. 250+ms ping to UK Waiting for the Singapore pool to update (Malaysia based) |
