Many people cash out NXT atm to buy into other IPOs. Like FIMK IPO, graviton said, that many people sold NXT there to buyinto IPO (700 BTC total invested!!)

Also the price is up from 0.00005 a couple of weeks back, so it is all in perspective Wink

Lol, its not premined, it's nonmined. How else other than a "premine" are you supposed to distribute a crypto that doesnt use mining?

How could someone with 11453 posts and 952 activity do not know about POS? I think it means that if Nxt even on this super low publicity level keeps 3rd place by market cap it'll be on the second place within few months.

NEM is supporting Nxt already by using the AE for distribution of coins. Why is there not theory already on NEM being just a project to promote Nxt? Cheesy

Well, technically, NEM is part of the KLONE Project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=423647.0
NEM was one of the first "descendants of NXT", a play on "NXT, descendant of bitcoin".

What is technically about a joke ?

Yeah, but it was Sunday.
New features are on the test net, good time to buy before they go to the real blockchain.

Ah, still can't get over the distribution envy? I did. Suggest you do the same and buy while your BTC are still accepted Smiley

Its an open source platform. Anyone who doesnt like the specifics of our accounting can do their own accounting. In this way it doesnt really matter that much even if what you say is true. The nxt devs built something amazing, something that can never be uninvented and the world will be forever changed.

Referring to "Premine" when talking about 100% Proof of Stake systems make me smile Grin

Please understand what you're talking about before posting statements like these, it'd look better.

James (jl777) is looking for a C implementation of ring signatures. Those keen on getting anonymity features for Nxt might want to spend some time trying to source this for him to speed things along  Grin

I looked at the bytecoin source and it would be easier if there was a reference implementation of just the ring signatures (in C)

If anybody can find such source code, I can see if I can integrate it into NXTprivacy. The design of the privacyServers as a hub for subscribers makes for an efficient way to generate a ring from all the subscribers of a specific privacyServer.

Not sure what sorts of computational limits there are, etc. But if all payments from a privacyServer could actually be payments from any of the subscribers, that has a nice privacy effect

Just an update for nxtblocks.info users:

- We had a bit of downtime to sort out some issues, the site is now functioning normally.

- Also, you might have seen a bug where the latest trades for some assets were not shown. It's fixed now.

Kushti has returned from his break, completed the implementation of Voting System and it has now gone into testing:

Implementation due to https://nxtforum.org/voting-system/implementation-plan/msg47274/#msg47274 is done, doing testing now. Tomorrow code will be sent for peer review, probably.

Regardless of the specific arguments (which are more full of holes than a piece of Swiss cheese in a gunfight at the O.K. Corral) the small- and mid-cap investors you mention might take you more seriously if you ran a spell check over it.
Just sayin'.
