Yes, they are in the asset exchange in the NXT blockchain. So, correct. You can sell them for NXT, or you can use the multi-gateway again to transfer them to a Bitcoin wallet.

Well, the multi-gateway is still considered beta so it hasn't been fully marketed/announced yet.

Yes, it works on main net. It isn't really a core feature. It is a wallet plugin along with services servers. You can find all you need to know to install and use it here: http://multigateway.com/

I started NXT client (server?) on a remote ubuntu server and it is started chatting with the network on port 7874.  It downloaded about 320MB into nxt.h2.db.  So I guess it is working.  My problem is I can't connect to that localhost port from here.  So I tried lynx from the command line and got some pages of HTML.  I was able to scroll to the secret phrase and repeat form entries.  I pressed enter on the register "button" and got:

HTTP ERROR: 400
   Problem accessing /. Reason:
HTTP method POST is not supported by this URL

Is there a better client to use than lynx?  Can I bind the port to listen on the internet with suitable firewall settings?  That is tricky since I access from a crummy network with varying addresses.

Just wanted to plug nxtforum.org, if you're not on it then you are missing out on most of what is happening in Nxt.

But don't take my word for it Grin Look at the stats...

https://nxtforum.org/index.php?action=stats

We are running at over 550 new posts per day and 15 new users are joining Nxt everyday. And it is only getting faster.

If you rely on people like me keeping you up to speed, I am only going to fail you a little bit more everyday  Grin I am having a hard time keeping up with developments the last few weeks.

So cut out the middleman and sign up to nxtforum.org  Grin

I think this is too technical for this thread  Grin

If you don't get an answer, try the node/vps technical subforum discussion at nxtforum.org

Oh God. Why did you guys decide to host this shyster's B.S. warez? Just because he has money and is on Internet TV doesn't mean he's not a shyster. He's pro-regulation and much like Brian Kelly is a wolf of Wall Street in sheep's clothing. He's just trying to hold open the door so Wall Street and the government can get in and regulate the usefulness entirely out of bitcoin.

He offers no credibility to NXT nor value to the world. He is simply another overconfident talking head that makes a living as a pundit, trying to misdirect people from his massive array of dead wrong calls he's made over the course of his career.

Furthermore, I don't think people should be allowed to label themselves as financial gurus when they owe the entirety of their fortune and elevated circumstances in life to their parents.

There's been a track record where if Max Keiser endorses something then it dies.   Cry
