Where did you find the info, that 1.3.2 would include the marketplace update? I always thought that 1.4.0 will bring it.

apologies - i was simply relying on the info here https://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Digital_Goods_Store which gave the impression that the 'marketplace update' was already included

Just want to plug this new wallet: http://mofowallet.com

Mofo Wallet is available as cross platform installable download (available for Windows, Mac and Linux) but also runs straight from your browser.

The following features are currently enabled for all supported cryptocurrencies:

 1. Block explorer
 2. Multi account support
 3. Create new accounts
 4. Add existing accounts
 5. Encrypted, freely named wallet.dat file removing the need to expose NXT / FIMK passphrase ever after creation
 6. Wallet file can be used locally or remotely (compatible with the hosted version at http://mofowallet.com)
 7. Send and receive messages (stored in blockchain)
 8. Send and receive payments
 9. Built-in faucet for both NXT and FIMK new accounts (through plugin)
 10. Mass payment functionality (through plugin)
 11. Run local server(s) (start/stop server(s))
 12. Forging (requires a running server process)
 13. Theme switcher (19 themes available)
 14. Public key announcement automation support
 15. Contacts database integrated with payments and messages

The following features are geared towards plugin authors and are considered
development/technical tools:

 1. Reload application (under settings menu)
 2. Database inspector (live view of the database)
 3. Public node manager (live view of all network API activity with public nodes)
 4. DOM Inspector/Console/Debugger (standard webkit dev tools)

Please excuse a quick little bit of shameless advertisement.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=853004

Quote
Topic: Buy and Sell Bitcoins for Cash Deposit Into Bank Account

I'm considering dabbling in buying and selling bitcoins for bank cash deposit if anyone is interested. Lets start out at say 5% over spot for purchases and 5% under spot for sales and see how it goes.

It's a little bit more than coinbase charges but you won't even have to have a bank account for purchases and you wont need to do any of that onerous registration and compliance stuff for sales. I'm basically going to treat it like I'm a localbitcoins vendor. This service will be for friends not the whole world. The moment it gets big enough that I start getting worried about drawing the attention of the jackboots I'll just raise my prices until the volume comes back down low enough for me to feel like I'm safely flying under the radar again.

I bank at wells fargo. If sufficient interest is shown than ill expand out and open accounts in other popular national chains.

Anyway do leave me any feedback you deem valuable. Thanks!

P.S. That is a new address that I'm going to start building reputation on. It's on my trezor. Its also now registered to my OTC Web of Trust account, with the handle Anon136 on the WoT as well. http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewgpg.php?nick=Anon136

Just published post-implementation 2-phased transactions specification: https://nxtforum.org/general/2-phased-transactions-post-implementation-specification/ . I don't know whether it will be in 1.4 or a later release as 1.4. has too many implemented features to be included probably: Monetary System, Coin Shuffling, dividends, alias deletion, Voting System, 2-phased transactions. But I would be happy see businesses around Nxt starting to think about using 2-phased transactions. For example, with Bitcoin's multisig and 2-phased transactions it's possible to provide signature escrow service without money holding on escrow's side.

A world of Nxt-based businesses could be changed a lot with Voting System(https://nxtforum.org/voting-system/voting-system-got-massive-updates/, https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/getting-voting-system-out-the-door/) & 2-phased transactions. Distributed shareholders voting, money spendings controlled by shareholders etc

2-phased tx in 1.4 would be great. Nxt multi-sig is an important feature IMHO, so the sooner the better!

Can someone please explain why the initial block processing continues to be so slow with NXT NRS?   Undecided

...as opposed to FIM NRS for example...

Initial == after NRS upgrade? In 1.3.x initial processing is much slower for sure, as disk-based database is used in contrast with in-memory collections in versions < 1.3.0. But NRS relaunching is much faster, as no blockchain rescan needed  Smiley

I guess FIMK code is still based on NRS v. < 1.3.0 ?

Gotta say how much I love the NRS 1.3.x updates......NRS runs again on low-power stuff like RaspPi and cheap ass VPS and , once the initial blockchain scan is done, shuts down and loads so damn fast. Nice work, dev dudes.

Why would I have to re d/l the block chain when moving from 1.3.2. to 1.3.3? Nothing worked with my existing db?

Or, is it because I installed the 1.3.3 superNet version?
