So if I wanted to upload a 1mb picture of my penis, it would cost $120 and for the next 30 years people will have to irrelevantly download a picture of my encrypted penis. Seems well thought out. Or I could just use dropbox with gb for free.

The blockchain bloat will wipe out the functionality of this

Go back to mantis coin cheer leader, doubt you even read anything from the whitepaper and thread.

Ok im trolling a bit, but my statement is true. I actully have 2.5btc invested in syscoin just encase it goes to the moon. But I do see many flaws

The Syscoin><FIAT gateway will be banking as a source of  demand and that will come in time, and thus increase the value of the coin. This will be a turning point for syscoin when demand will be increased as in free market system in which the prices for goods and services are set freely by consent between sellers and consumers. For a free market economy Syscoin><FIAT gateway is essential as in  a market-based economy where prices for goods and services are set freely by the forces of supply and demand and are allowed to reach their point of equilibrium.

Anyone else not really see the potential here? I see a lot of hype and some devs who are 1500 BTC richer, that's all.

Fuck that's expensive.

There's two BILLION coins guys. Not two hundred million.

Even if I thought this coin had some potential I wouldn't buy at IPO price, but 10x lower at the future market price.

WRONG. in 2 years there will only be 440m ish or so coins. PLUS mining this coin will be MORE expensive than buying it. PLUS, there is buy support from IPO funds.

And your point is? I can see how people might use this blockchain to store data but that doesn't preclude needing to buy coins.

The only way to make this coin viable is to have a big enough fee for adding data that people are required to buy coins thus causing demand and price rise. This also prevents transaction/data spam on the blockchain.

If this is added then I will probably buy into this at some point.

440 million is a lot of coins.

Weird people said the same thing about via, look what happened. There's always a risk but this one is less riskier than the other ICOs coming out that offer nothing. Besides if the devs don't deliver working features they posted in the OP they won't be getting a dime from the 1500 BTC and we get refunds from Moolah.

Using or doing anything on the syscoin blockchain requires fees.

LMAO  Cheesy I needed that today. But hey... did my head have to be on the chick's body?  Embarrassed  Tongue And you forgot mike and coderboo lol. We'll prep the island for when the rest of the presale investors arrive  Cool

Just finished the service fee tiers doc:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x8dv0pGyRCeT8aXIEQpgNiq0ENxJKwEO_PmZqnxJERk/edit?usp=sharing

The only thing I am not sure about is if offers aka marketplace will be priced per kb or per offer; the sheet has them priced per kb. Please take note of the scaling value of Syscoin from 1k - 1.5k satoshi and the decreasing cost in USD of the services relative to that increase in value. This shows 6months but as you can see in a few places and via the blockheights this is compressed to 90days. Open to feedback! Lmk if we got any numbers wrong but almost all formula driven (for sanity purposes, this doc alone represents many hours of work).

1 day countdown Cheesy

This thread has been here for nearly 4 months!

Now the rubber will hit the road. Let's see what we can do with this!

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

It will be nice then, don't use this one ,I just gave you one example .
