...... Where is the other one with those promised features? ...... Just to be clear.. The features do work. It was always the plan that other integrators (and the Syscoin team) will over time develop services that use these decentralized features. That includes integrating a subset of these into the UI of the QT-Wallet. But the wallet was never meant to be THE interface for this. And this was never promised to be included in the QT-Wallet. We have had a lot of issues with the initial release of the Windows wallet due to the attacks we were seeing on the Syscoin network. Rather than wasting your time ( trying to get the wallet working ) and ours dealing with support in relations to those issues, we decided to disable the UI for the features in the windows wallet for now. This was done to ensure that we have a functional wallet that allows the normal transactions without hanging and crashing. These UI features will be re-enabled and expanded upon when we have had time to fully investigate why it it happening and fix it. Its not feasible to be spending 90% of our time dealing with support in relation to Windows QT-Wallet issues. Hope this clears it up a bit. The features can still be access using the Windows QT-wallet through the console. Feel that this one got lost.

Is there a timeline to re-enable regenerated TX/service fees? Mining is not profitable without them. 128SYS per block compared to 300-400SYS.
Devs??

Devs?? The third instance is the miners of course. But mining profitability is garbage at the current price.
Regenerated service fees are coming back for miners, the rewards will be much higher soon (based on service usage; this isn't a fixed number). Please give us a little time to respond to questions, they will be coming back shortly and are on the list of things to be done.

the features do work, we have discovered a bug in the GUI element of wallet for the offers page so we have removed it in this update. as dano said its non-mandetory so you don't HAVE to install this update and its only a temp fix so people can use the wallet until we fix it properly
in regards to refunds, why should they? everything is working, we met their demands, at one point we NEVER said it would work in the GUI we added it to the GUI to create a better user experience which we have already agreed needs work.
If all you can bring is FUD then please go away.
Everything works. stop FUD plz

I want to say moolah is a fraud . It did not distribute my coin as promised. And I did not received my syscoin until now. I will make a complain about you and the dev.
Well i still haven't got my full allocation from moolah yet. Wouldn't call them a fraud but their support kinda sucks. Support ticket raised with them from last sunday and still nothing... luckily the amount missing is small but not happy all the same.

I don't care what other guys do, I will keep this coin until all functions works, then the market price will reflect its true value.
I agree as well, so much so, that I am buying more. Can't wait to see where we are by the end of the year.

Everything works. stop FUD plz Not FUDing - just asking the question. I don't fully understand the technical distinctions snipsnoop is making in his latest post update, but it sounds to me like the wallet still isn't fully functional and might not be for some time. By functional, I mean something the average person can use without having to be a technical person comfortable with a DOS-like console.

Yes, we are planning to put in (back in) extra functionality, but for the moment to remain stable we are leaving this out.

What some people did not get was that there is a hell of a lot of new code and features. We will at some point post some more details about the launch but for now we are busy fixing and testing.
Can't wait for a test drive with one of the Dev's to really show what the wallet can do and see all the features. Good recovery boys.

Ok, that clarifies things - thank you - but by extra functionality not enabled in the wallet UI, just to be clear, you're referring to the core special features that distinguish SYS from other coins, no? I understand this is for incremental testing purposes. Just saying, that's where things stand at this point - basic/generic wallet functions are ok now, but a full "SYS wallet" with special features available via a user-friendly UI is not in place.

There should be some update on main page about that odd thing with wallet not working after second start. Its annoying to read 368 pages to find out how to run it again wo the need to delete whole directory.

Just to quote myself (Easier) It was always the plan that other integrators (and the Syscoin team) will over time develop services that use these decentralized features. That includes integrating a subset of these into the UI of the QT-Wallet. But the wallet was never meant to be THE interface for this. We already have code for the marketplace so it can be integrated on a website. Its basic, but will form a base for further development. Other developers (Not on the Syscoin team) are also working on similar services using the core Syscoin tech. Its happening peps.
