I just want to point out that this crash is purely the result of inpatient whiny people. You expect everything to be perfect from the get go and you want no risk. From what i see they have fixed or are fixing the issues.
You already sound like a bagholder. Never sell your coins! Moon is coming soon™ I sold yesterday because I have seen this kind of posting before. It happened in Voot. I luckily was not invested in Voot but I did watch. I am debating if I want to get back into this coin but I will not until the prices crashes more. Because lets face it with this many people complaining the price will go down.

I think half the btc should be returned to us.
Like that will happen... If our review shows that the Syscoin team has completely failed, and refunds are necessary, there will be a full refund. If our review shows that the Syscoin team has met their contractual obligations, and refunds are not necessary, there will not be a partial refund. However, we are recommending a staggered release to ensure continued development. I can not import coins since there is no mac wallet.... That is a FAILURE.. Period! there IS a mac wallet, I'm using it right now, did you check the links on the OP? A LINK THAT DOESNT WORK IS NOT A WORKING WALLET NO MAC WALLET!!!
I CAN NOT IMPORT COIN TO EVEN MOVE THEM OR TRY TO GET OUT OF THIS SINKING SHIP.
THAT IS A FAILURE!!!

Here's a cold hard fact-
Mintpal had to shut down its wallet because.... it didn't work. They couldn't leave it up without losing money for themselves and their customers.
How's that for a cold hard fact?

The wallet still not working for me
I run it as administrator and still after 10 minutes I see no window
Even the bitcoin wallet only takes a minut to open and that comes with a 25Gb blockchain

Looks like Moolah has already made its decision, and so has the market. These so-called "devs" will abandon the coin soon after the escrow is released to them.
Good thing that they put their names on the syscoin site then

Lots of iMpatient whiny people, such as myself, have used dozens of coins without encountering such a mess from Day One. Perhaps the crash had a little to do with the underlying technology based on an Outdated Version of Litecoin QT. It evidently wasn't designed to run the bolt-on accessories borrowed from NXT. And by all accounts they still don't run effectively. I gave up trying to run the new improved version, which crashed every time I closed it down. Doubtless it'll all be up and running once the coin's on a par with Doge. Then it's 'to the moon' via the Center of the Earth. Still, it's my own fault for being greedy and wanting to make a profit.

These so-called "devs" will abandon the coin soon after the escrow is released to them. And, even if they don't, they're incompetent and they're not professional C++ developers or effective project managers, for that matter.
The only hope for SYS as far as market confidence is new management with hard-core development expertise and street cred.
I disagree with the Moolah CEO - I think the opportunity cost and reputational damage will be more severe than you expect. You think you would've learned from Mintpal.

Arguing with Slex about refunding investments, is like arguing with the wolf that's guarding the hen house.
Of course the wolf isn't giving back the chickens, no matter how hard you bitch.

slex, why you don't see many ppl said they can't open the wallet, why you just ignore them and insist your wrong judgement?
For your reputation, you should do some compensations for us. At least buy support

They keep acting like the world is ending then wonder why the price of the coin is falling. These kind of people are a cancer for all crypto and responding to them only makes them feel justified in their BS. Just let them keep complaining hopefully they will eventually give up and move on to another coin so SYS can be given a chance to recover. The rest of us are going to get on with our lives.

2 billion coins in total
i wonder how high this coin can actualy go ( i personaly think 100 sat per coin is a lot ) wen all 2 billion coins are in circulation
what did the ipo go for 500 sat a coin ? ( kinda pricy right ?
Very good point. The number of coins makes the 500 Sat price unsustainable. The realistic price should be max 90 Sat. I will start to buy the coin when it is at 50 Sat which won't be very long, I predict by the end of the week.

If we decide not to refund, the escrow will be released in a series of staggered phases to ensure continued development. We are also considering contributing an experienced developer to the team temporarily to help them with minor issues. While I am sure there will be some damage, we cannot breach our contract and the terms stipulated.
