If I decide to bet 0.1 BTC that this coin won't get back to 700 satoshi this year will Moolah escrow me? I am serious about this.
Betting 5 Bitcoin on top of your 0.1 BTC. Betting 100BTC that there's one person behind most of these troll accounts. You would lose 100BTC, a lot of shaky investors that had a lot of hope in this coin, and backed by Lord-Moolah himself put a lot of faith into the investment. I thought it was a rushed/overpriced NEM so I avoided the IPO. Dodged a bullet but really feel sorry for all those that had so much faith. Good luck everyone. You guys can easily do this over at https://www.betmoose.com/bets - send it to the dev and have him act as the 'Yes' bet to incentivize him ^^ Great idea, we have wasted a lot of time on FUD but we should have funding here in the next day once the discussion with Moolah is complete. danosphere, snipsnoopWhy does the wallet need an administrator password for run? I hope you will fix it in the next version. Previous version of the wallet and other my wallets run successfully without requesting administrator rights. From exe: <assemblyIdentity version="2.0.2.0" processorArchitecture="X86" type="win32" name="Syscoin QT"></assemblyIdentity> <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2"> <security> <requestedPrivileges> <requestedExecutionLevel level="requireAdministrator" uiAccess="false"></requestedExecutionLevel> </requestedPrivileges> </security> </trustInfo> </assembly>
Thank you- this is a good question. The win QT build was moved to QT5 in these latest builds and maybe in that transition the contributor missed something or this was added by accident. We will address this, test and reissue a binary ASAP. +1 for DEV Syscoin Moolahcoin now have future,:-):-):-)
Typo. Syscoin is entirely independent from Moolah. They are our valued partner and we are working with them closely but we are autonomous. Wanted to clarify this point as some people were saying Moolah had taken over Syscoin- this is not the case. We are discussing long term partnerships with them involving and related to the presale BTC and will issue a statement once complete. Syscoin is going to be successful and we're both committed to seeing that through. Notice: In the interest of current and future investors, we will be locking this thread in the next day or two and moving to a new thread with more clear information about Syscoin, its roadmap, team, how to get help, etc. This thread has just gotten too long. This will remain open for now until we have the new thread ready. We will backlink this thread from the new one for transparency. Thanks. Now that stuff is up and running right we want to have a clean thread.

danosphere, snipsnoopWhy does the wallet need an administrator password for run? I hope you will fix it in the next version. Previous version of the wallet and other my wallets run successfully without requesting administrator rights. From exe: ~snip~
Isn't this dangerous? I'm no techie, but this gives executables elevated privileges to your entire system: "Administrative rights give users the ability to read and modify any part of the operating system, including the code and data of other users—and even Windows itself. Without administrative rights users cannot accidentally (or deliberately) modify system settings, malware can’t alter system security settings or disable antivirus software, and users can’t compromise the sensitive information of other users on shared computers." http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.06.uac.aspxMeaning - your system is wide open to the program. Surely this wallet doesn't require admin rights... I don't believe it. Even if SYS isn't a scam, you've (those who ran this) effectively let scammers know that there are plenty of fools just waiting to be taken. Here's a scenario - this is what you've done: Download my file - giving me FULL admin rights to do anything on your computer. I'll just install few .dlls and apply a reg setting or two to make it damn near impossible for you to uninstall my real program. It only took a couple of lines of code in a script you didn't even know is now part of your operating system files, and I'll still have the master access key even after you think you've uninstalled my program. But it's not like my transparent logger emails me your nude pics or anything, I'm just crawl around for usernames and passwords... for every site you visit. But no worries - I don't plan to hit you all at once; there's no need. Remember, you gave me administrative rights to your system... so I control your antivirus programs. I determine which security updates are installed. And just to show my appreciation for you giving me full rights to administer your system, my program will continue to roam your computer even long after you've left this scene. Satisfied now?

I would say out of all the coins people are losing money on this is one of the better coins that people won't mind holding for a bit. Price is around 500 sat and most people bought in at 465 and 518. Some bought higher so as we go up there will be some sell pressure but it's not like people are bagholding coins from above 1000 sat so once the price gets up there it's smooth sailing.

The only "investors" (in quotations because these people weren't investors at all, they were just people who were hoping to dump their IPO position for a nice return as soon as the coin was launched) who lost money are the ones who were dumb enough to sell during the initial bumpy FUD phase... if you are so short-sighted to only care about the initial price right after the coin launches and to think that a bumpy start is the end to this coin and that it won't recover, than you deserve to have sold at a lost. I am glad all the fucktards with this outlook are already out.

Regenerated service fees are coming back for miners, the rewards will be much higher soon (based on service usage; this isn't a fixed number).

LOL. They just control your money and the devs that know what they're doing. But you're entirely independent. Moolah does have the funds. They also have very talented developers which we will be working with moving forward as well as other valuable assets. They are one of the biggest players in the crypto space - especially outside of the US. None of the Moolah developers were involved in fixing the issues related to our launch. We coordinated very closely with an awesome pool operator who also works for Moolah but that is it. The Syscoin team handled all of these issues internally.

I am glad all the fucktards with this outlook are already out. I don't think that's fair - Moolah saved the day in a way I don't think anyone anticipated. Left to its own devices (and those of its "devs"), without the Moolah guarantee, Sys would have been on its way to becoming toast. I do salute the Sys devs to agreeing to putting aside their egos, setting aside an immediate payout, thinking long-term and agreeing to this arrangement. It was clear after the start of this launch fiasco that a management/personnel/backup-warranty shakeup was the only way to salvage this coin and restore market confidence.

What happened seems really great. Basically, we are guaranteed development of the coin for at least 6 months - if not by devs (although there is no reason for them to diappear, since they will be given 1500 BTC in the next 6 months for development and for their own profits), then by devs hired by Moolah. This might be the most powerful coin on the market now and best tactic would be to just hide your coins and reopen your wallet after few months - like with Bitcoin in the good old times.

Sorry to say but everything Moolah touches seems to go sideways, will have to stay away from this. We got screwed on the ATM thing. Seems like Alex and Co are geek smart folks but poor business practices kill everything they try.
