Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.

Syscoin is really one of those coins I dont check prices minutely. I made some money swing trading but I am holding most of my coins.

Same here; I hadn't followed Syscoin before the launch but heard that things weren't going so well and took a punt at below the ICO price (followed by a bit of churning). As a software engineer myself, it was clear to me that that the problems stemmed from lack of production-scale testing and that they'd have fixes within a few days.

The coin has some excellent features and gives us hints of the DACs (distributed autonomous corporations) that are surely in our economic future. I'm going to hold for a bit.

This was exactly the case. It is hard with such a small bootstrapped team to test at the scale we really learned we needed to- lesson learned. We're working hard on getting a bunch of stuff done this weekend which may lead to another release- testing is still be done on this new build so stay tuned.  Smiley

Also I want to stand up a simple swag shop using SysMarket on github so people can see how this can work "outside the wallet". Also the team can use the SYS earned from selling swag for development!

Syscoin: Business on the Blockchain. - Buy and sell goods and services, send encrypted messages and more all secured by the blockchain.

Glad to hear that Smiley also I can confirm the latest wallet works great now on windows, so we need to troubleshoot the market/alias and certificates tabs to put back in next version Smiley wonderful work dev team. This is a breakout from traditional altcoin scene.

As for moolah contact them. Spamming this thread will do nothing.

snipsnoop and others, can we just not only delete, but ban posters that are here to cause FUD and problems? I'm all for voicing concerns or being constructive toward developers if done tactfully, but we know this place is very toxic, and intentions to FUD are purposeful.

Can we as a community here just decide to have zero tolerance to bullshit and FUD? If it's FUD or bs delete. Also everyone knows if there is legit questions they will be answered and almost always a developer in IRC or someone that can help.

This is not average coin, and I don't think a company like Apple, or Microsoft would put up with the childish behavior, I would hope on new thread this zero tolerance is applied.

If they don't like it, start a new thread about all your FUD and bs.

Looks like the price leveled out and the FUD leveled out. Good. I can slowly increase my holdings.

We are planning to lock the thread.. The amount of FUD is insane at this stage. Will either launch a heavy moderated one or move to our own forums.

devs,

If you would like someone to locally test any of your wallet updates on Windows machines prior to making the updates public, I can test them on multiple platforms for you. I have a total of 13 PCs each with different OS and hardware configuration. I am able to provide debug logs when needed and am easy to contact at most times of the day.

I volunteer, if you like.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Start a new modded thread here, starting your own forums makes it difficult for new users to find the coin because they can't be bothered with making a new account - like me really.

Those not seeing the new features:

(yes, mostly the win QT users here)

go to help --> Debug window --> console

WHOA OH MY GOD ITS A COMMAND LINE!

then type for example "offerscan 1 100" to see the first 100 actual market offers
type "certissuerscan 1 100" to see the first 100 certificate issuers

WHOA OH MY GOD I SAW SOME OF THE NEW FEATURES

getting interested in more? type "help" to see all commands available, focus on all those starting with "offer" "alias" and "cert"

Aye, I do agree. But we will still setup a forum, mainly to deal with the technical stuff (Integration etc).
