M

FYI, Last couple of days mdude.org has been "Under Construction".

Maybe I missed something in the thread about changing hosting.

Inquiring minds wanna' know.

Thanks for all you do.

Actually it's always said that. Smiley I don't use it for anything except file distribution.

M

I decided that with 1 s-5 and a house full of sp20's I should upgrade to your 4.7.   I will post back with my luck at getting it to work.  I ssh in to 1 sp20E to start.

The easiest way to monitor Spondoolie equipment is to use the HTTP interface.  Uncheck the "use API" and make sure your web credentials are good, and it should work.

Otherwise you have to enable API access on each unit.

M -

I am using v4.7.

I recently wanted to sort by "BestShare" but its not sorting properly....neither by ascending or descending.

Let me know if there is something I may be doing wrong, if you need a screen shot or if this is a known bug.

Thank you.

<robb>

That's sort of indirectly intentional.  To format it a nice readable format with commas, it has to be a text value.  Apparently the default sorting mechanism (not my code) can't sort text values properly either.  If you want it to be sortable, I have to make it numeric, which means not as easy to read.

M

thanks for the explanation.  I'll live with it looking nice...for now.  Smiley

Here's a beta of v5.0.  It contains some minor fixes, and initial support for MobileMiner.  Big thanks to NWoolls for this, he did the heavy lifting.

Download link: MMinerMonitor50b2.zip

I'm new to MobileMiner.  It seems to be working properly to me.  However I no longer have much hardware available to me for testing this, so please report bugs here.

NWools: please see my PM for comments on this.

M

I have used MobileMiner with other monitoring software so I thought I'd try it with your MMinerMonitor50b2.  Everything seems to work fine but I suddenly realized that MobileMiner was showing different hashing units for my AntMiner S5s.  MMinerMonitor50 is showing speeds like 1.33 TH/s and 1.29 TH/s (which are correct) but when it gets to MobileMiner it is showing 1.33 Gh/s and 1.29 Gh/s.  Also, MobileMiner is showing Speed(5s) and I would rather see Speed(avg) which is minor.  I really like using your MMinerMonitor software.  It has some quality features.

Thanks for the report.  That was something I half expected, as I had the same thing with my S4s.  I'll get it tweaked in the next version.

NWools chose to have it capture the 5s value instead of the average value.  I too think it should be the avg value.  Any other opinions out there?  I'm personally fine with changing it to avg.  I assumed everyone else with MobileMiner used 5s so I left that alone.

Here's beta #3 of 5.0.  This should fix the hash rate being reported wrong to Mobile Miner problem.

That fixed it; everything is coming up as Th/s now.  I'm surprised that there is not more traffic about using MobileMiner with MMinerMonitor.  I've read through all 56 pages of this thread and there are several references to folks not being able to keep an eye on their machines when they are away from the house or on vacation.  MobileMiner is the solution to that problem; it is simple, easy to set up, and doesn't bog you down with a bunch of features you don't need.  It enhances MMinerMonitor by allowing you to walk away from your computer and still get the basic data that MMinerMonitor is providing.

I will stay tuned to see if you switch Speed(5s) to Speed(avg).  So far, I seem to be the only one speaking up about this.  Thanks!

Here's version 5.0.  The only thing changed in here from the last beta is mobile miner now gets the avg hashrate, instead of 5s hashrate.

I hadn't heard about Mobile Miner until you chimed in.  Always looking at a new gadget I thought I would give it a try.

I can't seem to get it to work on my PC I get a debug error and outside your program it doesn't seem as if the data is being pushed to their website or to my iPhone App.

My only gripe with your program M is when I want to add the selection column. I have to uncheck it and then save, and then check it again and save it. Then it shows up. Other than that, this is probably the useful monitoring tool I have ever used.

Thanks!!!

Not sure if this has been said or not, but the program indicates my SP10 is only hashing at 1.3 when I confirmed it is hashing at 1.4. The pool indicates 1.4 and the miner GUI itself indicates 1.4. Is the program lowering the hash rate by .1 for a reason?
Thanks.

Would you please PM me the output from your miner URL/monitor.php please?  It could be a rounding error.  I won't know until I see it.

Thanks!

I do have a valid MM key......the mining hardware I use is all bitmain; s1 [yes I have a few], s2, s3's and of course the c1 I bought from you.  I have the check box checked on your 5.0 software....and the key is typed in.  What could I be missing??

Do the other values update?  Are any miners in particular showing this problem more than others?  Are you using the web scraping or the API?

It would appear that the other values update....at least I think they do.  I am using the API and it seems to be random.  Is it possible that my machine is running out of RAM when your program is running?  When I quit your program the machine seems to run far faster. I have your program, Team Viewer and Firefox open only.
