It looks like this

I have 90 to 100 reserved for ants on all locations. 80 to 90 are antlike devices(currently I have only 2 prototypes) that run S1 firemware...

https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5hcuj1kub0uw81/ants.JPG

So 90 to 93 are the one that are double... It is also reporting only 12 of 16 responded but that is also not the case...

can you post a screenshot?  'a' was to fix the problem with borders being on the right.

Hi,

Great App!

my app started crashing since v2.4 on a regular basis.  I have upgraded to v2.6a and still get the error on a regular basis.

I am running on XP

and the crash error is below.

Hope this helps.

<Robb>

Unfortunately the debug output from .Net isn't the most useful.  This gives me a clue - it's happening on the HandleAlerts routine.  What it doesn't like in there, I don't know just yet.

When you say regular, do you mean all the time?  Or regularly, but not all the time?

If it's all the time, then it might be a case where something went awry with an upgrade routine and the config got mangled.  Would you be able to rename the registry key hkey_current_user\software\MAntMonitor and then fire up the app again, reconfigure it, and see what happens?

If it's not all the time, then I would guess some alert is being triggered that causes the error to occur.  Any idea which alert that might be?  If you click continue, perhaps more than a few times, you should be able to get to the log to see what was last recorded.

I'm thinking it's somehow related to the addon that I'm using for SSH, but I added that in v2.2.  2.2 and 2.3 work okay for you?

M

thanks for the reply....yes 2.2 and 2.3 worked.

I went ahead and renamed the info in regEdit...then re-installed.  So far so good.  I'll let you know if it gives me any other hiccup.

is there a way to expand the window that shows all the data? it seems to be fixed to a certain size and I can't expand the results.

<sigh>

I had a high fever a few days ago, and my head still isn't right.  Apparently I fixed the sizing issue, but neglected to build it and put in the .ZIP file.  But that didn't stop me from renaming the .ZIP file and pushing it to the website.   Huh

I just redid my steps, and included the missing one.  The same download link as before:

Download link: MAntMonitor26a.zip

If it says 2.6a on the actual app, then you're good.  If it doesn't, then I messed up again.

Avast antiviri seems to be disagreeing with the latest version
http://goo.gl/CEH1X1

More than likely just a false positive due to a zip file having an exe in it

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

pretty simple. something is null and trying to be referenced. the error message doesn't say exactly what obviously...

I did a thorough scan with Panda Cloud Antivirus Latest version.
Couldn't find any virus. Same time the window sizing issue solved.
But if it had a Maximize/Restore function it would have been more better.
M, I request you to add a link to this thread or your website in the software like, "About Us".

See the op post - AV apps don't like my program.  Where did you get my app?  The only valid dist is my site, which is really just a link to the zip.  That link is in my sig and in this thread.  I would *NOT* trust it coming from anywhere else.  My dist site is www.mdude.org.

I like the idea of putting a link to this thread in my app.

Maximize gets awkward and IMHO makes it really ugly.

just a quick update.....installed the correct v2.6a and it seems to have stabilized.  :-)  Thanks for your earlier quick responses.
