got some input in to the monitor -
its remembering everything and i cant delete stuff out - still shows in the "ants" even when i delete and save the config.
With which version are you seeing this? The screenshot you have shows an older version. under the name - can we get an edit facility? so instead of 192.168.1.101 - just rename it to "101 GALACTICA" - this would be a good feature so ur ants list looks like 101 GALACTICA 102 ATHENA 103 ATLANTIA 104 PEGASUS Neat idea. M I think it may be related to this - the info on your ants is stored in the registry I had so many that it refused to work so I had to track down where the data was kept
if you turn off the API option itll help to get some stuff though to the monitorThe 2.8 version catches everything - i used for the original setup when i was experimenting and deleting etc. think it may be something in the registry.

I'm pretty sure there's a problem in the upgrade code. That, however, has nothing to do with S3s no longer working. With the new firmware, they are no longer "just like an S1, only faster". M

Hey M, I've been thinking about this.
Even with me using the latest FW, I should still be able to web scrape right ? I mean, AFAIK it's just the SSH API the new FW messes up. That said, just how do I enter my IP ? I saw presets like 1.2.3.4:5678 & 1.2.3.4:5678:80, hell, even 1.2.3.4:5678:80:80
I tried both 1.2.3.4:5678 & 1.2.3.4:5678:80 and don't seem to be getting any info with S1 or S2.
All my IP's are like this as I previously stated.
1.2.3.4:2013 1.2.3.4:2014 1.2.3.4:2015 1.2.3.4:2016

FWIW, you ever t that loan from the guy here in the thread that offered so you can get an S3 ? Edit: If you check the S3 thread you should find a screen image from someone.

Bitmain has done a good job making their Ants scarce. Reminds me of the diamond industry. Keep the supply limited. M

M If all you need is underlying HTML, I can get you the source if that's what you mean / need to get stared. Just not sure how to really do it from chrome, I know with IE you just "view source". As for finding and S3, I an only think of eBay or Escrow with someone here.

I need one on hand. I have a lead on one outside of eBay. Thanks. M

Thanks, I'm aware it doesn't work with the latest firmware. I'm working on obtaining an S3 to add support for it to my app. M

I believe others have stated if you aren't using the latest firmware the S1s don't behave. M

Just found that Ant Monitor V 1.9 still works with the latest S3 firmware.

Here's v2.9: - Fixed a few instances where .net errors could be thrown if an Ant didn't respond for whatever reason. - Fixed the problem with deleted Ants coming back on their own accord. - Fixed a problem that would cause Ants to not show up on the grid when they should. - Added API support for S3s. Download link: MAntMonitor291.zipNotes: - Web scraping support for S3s isn't here yet. I intend to add that soon. - The person who had the problem with the xth and greater Ant showing up, please try this version, I suspect it'll fix it. - If you are using S1s as S3s, I think you'll need to remove them and readd them as S3s, otherwise you'll probably end up with them there twice, once as S1, once as S3. Other things of interest: - S3s are, for the most part, just like S1s. That means the "update pool" logic doesn't work, just like it doesn't for S1s, unless you enable API access. - S3 support broke with the latest firmware because Bitmain is presenting malformed JSON with one of the APIs. Feedback is most welcome. Adding support for S3s was pretty straightforward, once I figured out why it was choking on the JSON output from the API. However I may have overlooked something. M

So does this mean you got your S3 then for testing ?
Also hope to see S3 web scraping soon so I an use this app with my out of home hosted machines with unique ports.

Yes, it arrived yesterday, with one fan a little mangled complements of UPS, but otherwise fully functional. I intend to add web scraping soon. Most people use the API, and I only had so much time to code tonite, so API came first. M

Using the API would be nice bu when previously discussed it sounded all too difficult with externally hosted machines.

Working good here, but a whole bunch of deleted Ants keep showing up and when I go to delete them it keeps saying
"Can not delete subtree key because the subtree does not exist"
Any ideas?

Hi mdude, Nice job my man - got a little problem though, I'm unable to delete any of the ants - either the old ones (S3's reg'd as S1's) or the newer, correct ones. I keep getting this: Tried restarting the ants & the program....... Edit: I see someone beat me to it.........
