Yes! I was just about to post a suggestion to summarise 'todays fight' in the first post so I won't need to spend an hour after work reading up on it..... But this is much better....

Might I suggest that those who feel like helping us get listed on BTC38 take a minute and write a suggestion in this thread -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525096.msg5834047#msg5834047
Or indeed send a PM directly to them at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=262888

If you do please keep it professional and don't spam them. Not that most people here would, but I just want to point that out regardless.

As MuffinMaster pointed out to me, we also need to talk to BTC-e. They have a thread over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=433283.msg6550439#msg6550439 and their user is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=33012

Again, please be respectful if you decide to ask them. They probably get a ton of request and we don't want to come across as spammy. Also, if anyone speaks Russian I would invite you to check out BTC-E's Russian chatroom. The Admin usually hangs out there and it might be a good idea to petition him directly.

Thank you for the new thread. Seems to me like the "fresh air" that was needed for the coin.

I stay here now, thank you.

My heart belongs to RieCoin (RIC), my investments to BlackCoin (BC)

Serious question, this and the other BC thread are less than a few hours old and already posts have been deleted from both. The old thread had very few posts deleted, anything that wasn't on the party line was discussed and challenged (for the most part Cheesy)

So how are people to know what to trust and that they aren't just being shown what the mods want them to see?

I have posted this in the competing thread too.

Original thread I believe was not self moderated. So anything that got deleted was done so by BCT mods. The new threads are self moderated so they can be edited by the person who posted. Whether that is good or bad is a debatable subject. It will definitely cut down on the noise though.

Fact is we all live with cencored/political influenced media. In every democratic country too.

EDIT that should not be an excuse for doing that Wink

If "free speech" got us to the point where the prior thread had to be locked, I say bring on the moderation!

If you can't trust the thread sanctioned by the developer of the coin, then maybe this coin isn't for you.  As much as I was entertained by the last thread, it really reminded me of jerry springer.  or reality tv.  I prefer constructive efforts over destructive ones.

Think about what you are saying. Would you agree if I said "if you can't trust the car salesman for the car you buy etc.." ?

Nothing hinders you from creating a third, unmoderated BC thread.
