Thanks for the panic sell, i hate weak hands. I recorded it in case anyone wanted to see how I tricked you into selling low. If you want your coins back you can buy them at a higher price than you sold for. That's the penalty for being an idiot.
Rinse repeat I've been doing it all week. I'm not related to megaman either, I only took advantage of the discord caused by that incessant piece of garbage.

btw i'm only doing this to show people how easy it is to manipulate the price, and I've also showed you how to counter this manipulation which doesn't take a genius to figure out. (i.e. By putting up walls)

I would like for someone to do something about it but if not I'm just gonna keep doing it for the free money.

I dunno.. I still love this picture for some reason.
Just makes me think of camels in my wallet multiplying.

Haha Reminds me of Planet of the Apes but with Camels =p

This made me think...are one hump camels allowed to date two hump camels? ^__^

Whats is this whitepaper thing?
It is an article written by the devs that explains the upcoming new development called Eco-system.

Some information about it can be found at the Opening Post of the forum or by searching for Eco-System. A summary of it, is that there will be a new "layer" on top of the current Bitcoin structure to build a network that can used for social activity, marketplace etc. So you don't have to keep your wallet open only for staking, you will open it to interact with other people, to trade, to buy, to do everything you want to do with your coins integrated into 1 place  Grin Grin Grin

Might not be the best explanation and don't expect it all to be implemented directly, but the whitepaper (that will come within 12 hours) will give full details. They did not want to release more information earlier, as other coins could copy it and maybe steal the idea. They are releasing the whitepaper as they are "close"  to a beta/test version!

So to summarize my post, wait for tomorrow if you want facts. Otherwise stick around, read back all the posts from "Silkcoin" and decide if you share their vision Cheesy From my view, this really is a game changer, as it solves the "issue" with people not leaving their wallet open / hashrates due to other means of usage (network, marketplace, etc)!

Whats is this whitepaper thing?

As I understand it the white paper is just a document that outlines the vision for Silkcoin in detail.
It is often used in business as a proposal.
Effectively it is a marketing tool.

It is famous in crypto world because of Satoshi's use of the white paper to explain Bitcoin.
This was needed because it was new and foreign to people.
My impression is that most coins now are forced to deliver a "whitepaper" since it has become standard in promotion of a coin.

For me the white paper is not that important.
What I like to see is active development and the effects of innovation in action.

So far the devs here have delivered a new and innovative wallet that keeps getting better.
It is obvious that they did not get lucky in doing this, it is because of ability and hence I expect that it will continue.
This is how crypto will grow and get to be used by the masses.
They have also handled the malice and extortion attempts quite well. Satoshi luckily never had to deal with that kind of nonsense or I am sure Bitcoin would have struggled even more.

The community has been great (I'm looking at you Wulf, Judge, Quantum) very positive and managing to stay calm. It shows adults are involved and this makes me happy.

All of this means that even if the devs publish a whitepaper that says:
1. plan to make the best wallet and keep it up to date
2. integrate useful features from other working coins

I will be all on board the camel.

What I expect it will probably say apart from those 2 things is.
3. work on creating an ecosystem accessible through the wallet
4. some integration of a marketplace possibly

Before this guy starts adding eco-system layers to the client maybe he should consider making a client built on a version of Bitcoin newer than 1 1/2 years old. The code was outdated when Blackcoin used it and even more outdated when Silkcoin used the Blackcoin code (and didn't even remember to change the address prefix. Really no excuse other than laziness and inexperience - I know it's not a big deal but it's pretty hilarious the addresses start with "B"). Also will be interesting to see how long he keeps up this "eco-system" story before he throws in the towel and dumps the rest of his premine. He'd make a lot more money starting a new scam than continuing to string you guys along - nobody smart and nobody with money is still buying this crap.

Haha that pic is funny and already more trustworthy than certain "people" !

The post from Jacqul sums it up pretty well:

Might as well get this back out there. They keep rolling out the blindfolds but it just keeps motivating me. Giant pictures quoted over and over just make you look more guilty.

Seriously guys put your money into established currencies with a future like BTC, LTC, VTC, etc. Don't waste your money on this doomed premined garbage with a fly-by-night dev on his 10th scam of the year. Don't do it! LTC is a steal right now and will be around long-term. This shit will just go lower and lower and lower until the dev dumps and leaves. I assure you. The fact that they have to post firebugged screenshots and give me a negative trust rating and post giant memes over and over and over to bury the truth should concern you. They never address my concerns - just try to run from them. They know they're guilty. Quit wasting your money! YOU WILL LOSE MONEY HERE. Sell now, cut your losses, and go buy a real coin that isn't here to scam you and vanish.

dont you have a life or something?

How do you make money buying high and selling low? Because the price isn't going back up - I told you a week ago at 7000 to sell because it will never be that high again. I said the same at 4500. I maintain it now. It's not like this is the first altcoin scam. Go look at the Whitecoin charts and Yellowcoin charts - same thing. Scams only go one direction at this point: down. So unless you found an exchange that allows you to short crypto you've already lost and will only lose more. Even the dev isn't dumb enough to keep trying to prop the price up - they know they're doomed now. They will end up ONLY making 100 BTC on this scam but their next one will surely make them just as much. Not bad for a quick copy/paste job and a few bullshit posts.

maybe cus i bought when it was under 1000? What makes you think I haven't been buying low and selling high, didn't you see the trading videos I recorded?
Devs could dump entire premine if they wanted and I could still hold the price up at this level. Why sell at 4k when you could be selling at a much higher price.

I made money on whitecoin, asiacoin, yellowcoin, orangecoin too, did i care about trolls like you? nope. you're just helping me and others make money

but this coin isn't a scam, so you're wasting your energy.

Other devs copying our Wallet, lets see what part of the Silkcoin Ecosystem they are going to copy.
Whitepaper to be released tomorrow!

They're copying a deprecated wallet built on 18 month old source copied and pasted from Blackcoin which was already outdated when it was released? Or you mean they're copying the insignificant tweaks that were made in Qt Designer? It's easier to customize than making a PowerPoint presentation and it's a free download. Anybody copying this old-ass source code is a moron. Bitcoin 0.9.2 is out now. No new coin should be built on less than 0.9 source. Significant improvements have been made.
