Hey Guys,

my wallet shows me stake: 0.00 SC

Does that mean, that i am not staking? Most of my coins are older than 12 hours and reserve ist set to 0.

Is everything ok or do i have to change something?

Mine says the same thing and for some reason my wallet is locked and it's not syncing?  I was getting a startup error at first, but i fixed that by deleting some folder in appdata/roaming

It's most likely because your wallet is locked and not staking. Unlock your wallet and then it'll start staking.

I didn't set a passphrase to my wallet yet.

Maybe the wallet neets to be opened 12 hours without interruption? I always shut my pc down when i leave my home...

Yes your wallet needs to be opened for more than 12 hours as coin age is calculated when your wallet is open

Coins do earn coin age even when wallet is not open but to hit a stake block you need to have your wallet open.

In settings->options you can set Reservebalance (it's the amount you don't want to stack)
In settings->options->display you can tick coin control, so you can control what coin you send (don't send old coins)
In settings you can unlock wallet for stacking only if you encrypted it.

If you have coins older than 12 hours, then you'll start to stack and you can see current staking status hovering the lightning icon. But beware this is the "expected" time, it can be shorter or longer, as in POW blocks. After those 12 hours, the more coin-age you get the more chances you have of hitting a stake block, you gain coin-age even when wallet is closed.

As for news, today we are currently recruiting more devs to work on the eco-system because we got quite a few messages from different developpers since we unveiled it. And we are preparing the next release which is scheduled for wednesday (maybe before) powering up again the already powerful silkcoin wallet Smiley. We are also going to launch a few other things on the marketing side along with the new release early next week..

Congratulations!  You got in at a great time.  I bought in a large stake too because I know the price will go up once people find out what is going on here.  The devs are not just copy cat cloners.  They are doing things that will change how the blockchain is used for other services.  This can be bigger than Bitcoin.

Cool coin- looks very underpriced so I bought some up  Grin

Currently low market cap + solid coin = there is lots of room for this coin's value to increase if it gets the right attention!

How long before next PoW? Does anyone know?

About 17.x Days...

We go through about 1440 Blocks per day.  We are on Block 24,455

The next PoW block starts at 50,000 and runs to 60,000.

From then on its all PoS.

Hope this helps...
