Let's look at it this way. We could only hope that every coin dev had the type of transparency to where you could read their private facebook posts.
Give the guy a break at least until the 24th if that's too long for you to wait then by all means cash yourself out and move along.
as the proverb says give them enough rope to hang themselves
if he doesn't live up to what he promised the repercussions will be dire to his future endeavors.
I promise it's not worth $1500 for him to cut and run...

I get where you're coming from as well, and I will say it is foolish but on the same note boastful statements usually stem from pride and it's not often that someone will abandon something they are proud of.
