I agree the coin needs a cloaking mechanism for anonymity. Once implemented, I suggest this Tagline for the coin: "Freedom from Scrutiny" nice idea, but i think drk dev won't opensource it until they ready to move to newer version of darksend. Next to anonymity, there is transparency attitude that any dev in crypto need to show. DRK gain investor trust not only because tech feature, but also because its developer (evan) let the public now about who he is: his real name, his background, etc. Because in investor's view dev transparency is a big plus, and only a few coin developer who did that (ltc, doge, drk) |

You mean this Peercoin Clone? 8 hour coin maturity and 1% APY. That's closer to BC then PPC. Blackcoin is a clone of Novacoin, and Novacoin a clone of Peercoin so I don't quite understand your argument. We'll just have to ask the dev what he cloned to settle this. But most likely he'll say this isn't a clone. So it's all good. Libertycoin is a clone of badgercoin which was the first X11 POS coin. And badgercoin is either a clone of novacoin or a direct clone of peercoin. He obviously can't say it's not a clone. That would be as intellegent as saying Blackcoin is not a clone. Again, I don't quite understand your argument. The only coins that aren't "clones" that I can see are BTC, Peercoin, Fluttercoin and Safecoin. One invented PoW, one invented PoS, one invented PoT, one invented PoR. Everything else is just different algorithms or specifications. What other coins have invented a new proof/reward system; what did I miss? almost positive its a hackcoin clone Check the source code on github. There are a couple instances of hackcoin not being changed to LibertyCoin. |

the value of darksend would be far more than 3-4 btc's ....
all libertycoin owner should spent some money to get that darksend!

Some questions about darksend and zerocoin. clean de transations it's really a good "next step" in cryptocoins and for sure lot of people it's thinking in the ways that could be possible. but for me i think that the most important thing in crypto is keep the descentralization and everything we can devevelop must be true p2p. That is the only thing that make possible that banks, governments and so on, couldn't close bitcoin and the other coins. With this cuestion that came with darksend and zerocoin i ask, this isn't in some way some kind of centralization??? If yes, who gonna control that??? Isn't easier attack and close the system?  It's open to discussion  |
