Dev, how is this wallet update affecting distribution phase and coin supply? Or will that be an update for tomorrow? Thanks

no it has the update, POW ends at block #32500

Great thanks. Last question - are pos blocks working properly now? Will this reduce from the estimated 10.8m coins if all 32500 were pow blocks? Or will there be 10.8m supply? Thanks

Can anyone tell me how the XC wallet makes transactions anonymous? Does it use coin join for the blockchain? Who operates the nodes? I can't see any detail.

no it is not coinjoin, it is 100% custom developed code... currently I operate the node for now

Will others be able to run their own nodes soon like Darkcoin?

thats a good question, and the short answer is yes, but I'm looking for feedback a little on that

Noob question: is it possible to use android phones for the nodes?

So the nodes are central servers? Who will operate them in the future? And how does the transaction appear in the blockchain?

Dev, do you have an answer for this? Are you going for user-hosted nodes like DRK in the future? Otherwise this is centralized like DarkWallet, with you hosting the nodes. And would like some idea of how transactions appear in the blockchain.

Now for the progressive, small dump, people buying in after finding out about it, another small dump, rinse, repeat.

Here is the wallet

https://mega.co.nz/#!gRVCgZ4Z!eqxLqh1L10HHBxG8KTi3Z3T7_nGg6GvQOwwfkfCKWRU

launch with the batch file the masternode parameter

otherwise launch with

x11coin-qt.exe -addnode=mixernode01.atcsecure.com

Since this is the first release, I AM ADVISING EVERYBODY TO USE A TEST WALLET separate from your main wallet.dat file

Please backup your existing wallet, and create a new wallet just for any test with this client

Glad it worked as advertised - lots more to do, I need some sleep now..

If your wallet never sends the transaction outbound, that is in indicate of a network error to the mixernode, if restarting the client doesn't resolve it, pm me..

Just to organize some info for everyone:

Link to NEW Wallet (with anon transfers):  https://mega.co.nz/#!gRVCgZ4Z!eqxLqh1L10HHBxG8KTi3Z3T7_nGg6GvQOwwfkfCKWRU

Distribution changes: PoW blocks reduced.  Now 32,500 blocks @ 333 per block.
Estimated Total Supply: 10.8 million XC

Visio on how the anonymous transfers work:

Don't forget these!

For those looking for some more details... check out the link, our design incorporates some of the features from dual path paradigm concepts, although we are advancing this concept to be multi-path paradigm, and we will implement on top of tor to provide a high level of anonymity

http://eprint.iacr.org/2009/385.pdf
http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1208/1208.3022.pdf

The principles for this concept come from a design that I originally leveraged back in 2005,[multi-path paradigm] the system still runs to do this day handling 50k to 100k users per day

also the infrastructure for this will support numerous other applications, such as encrypted messaging, P2P exchange..etc granted we can only develop new features so fast, but we are putting the foundation for a multi-use, multi-purpose platform

one the of the details we are still working out is the autonomous "supernode" function and best methods to prevent bad-actors.. We have implemented PKI and will leverage that as part of entire solution

Is this one of the transactions from the new wallet?   http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/580a063bd6421c644eb54506bd3ab47f8db2464a1917061816a66f7fa1a520f2#i0

It looks like the coins are routing back to the original address in two payments but the payments don't add up to the original amount. What's going on here?

If you look at the wallet the payments are going back in:

580a063bd6...   18652   2014-05-26 06:54:43   106.33           213385.035964   XC

I hope nobody is running 100 XC through the mixer at this stage [in a single transaction], lets give this a proper 'burn-in" before we crank up the volume.. that doesn't look like a mixed tx...
